JAXON'S P.O.V

My wolf Daniel growled with anger as we saw our mate dive out of the window. Without a second thought, I rushed down the stairs trying to erase the thought of my mate being seriously hurt. While also mind linking the pack doctor to come quick. 

I ran outside only to see my mate lying unresponsive and still on the ground. 

Daniel whimpered as we saw a trickle of blood coming out from her head and shattered glass pierced into her fragile body. I scooped her into my arms and ran up to my room, laying her in my bed.

I groaned putting my head in my hands as I waited outside the room. Apparently, it would be        " too much " for me to see my mate in pain so the pack doctor advised I waited outside until he finished fixing her up. The thought of a man touching what's mine angers me but I have to accept the fact that he is trying to help his Future Luna. (Quick Authors note: yep that's my name;) - Luna)

My thoughts were interrupted as I saw the pack doctor step out of the room which made me spring up from where I sat. 

 " Don't worry, Anna's fine she just suffered a small concussion and I've taken out all of the glass she'll be awake in about an hour,  just be relieved that she wasn't high up in the building because that would have caused more damage. You could see her now if you want," he spoke without looking me in the eyes as a sign of respect.

Nodding I made my way into the room sitting down in a chair next to the bed.  I look down and admiring how beautiful she is and clasped my hands with hers. Already feeling exhausted, I lay my head on the edge of the bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.
