"So... Explain what happened to Phil." Jack says quietly, looking down at his hands and not me. I sigh.

"Eden and Phil were sitting just outside the pack house late last night. I will admit I was dozing on and off, so when I smelled the scent of another wolf, I thought it was...." I trailed off, turning red slightly. I covered my mouth and looked down.

Now's not the time Mark. Remember what Lady Celeste said. I remind myself. Dan took over.

"I heard Phil scream..." At the sound of Dan's voice, Jack looks up. Dan swallows and continues. "Phil screamed 'Help!' But by the time I got out there, he was....." He trails off, clearing his throat. "And so was Eden." Jack turned to Eden.

"So that's why you ran up to me, asking where Phil was."

Eden did what? I glance back at her. She bows her head sadly. Her blonde hair covering the bandaged scratches on her face from the fight.

"Yes, that is exactly why. I followed their scent and it lead over to your territory. I only went across the boundary to try to get Phil back," she adds hastily. Jack nods.

"Did you get a look at the attacker?" She shakes her head.

"No, but I know that whoever they are, they're a wolf." The DarkMoon members seemed taken back.

"What? How do you know this?" Alika asks. Eden shrugs.

"They gave off a smell that only we distinctively have as wolves. That and red fur. I didn't see the face but I know that they are a wolf and they are female."

"How?" I repeat, learning this information for the first time. Eden giggles, motioning towards her chest. I frowned as both Alika and her giggle. "I don't get it."

"She had boobs!" Eden says at last as Alika cracks up.

"Even I knew what she was trying to say!" Alika chuckles out. I roll my eyes.

"I am a male, how was I suppose to know that?!"

"Um... Because that's an area you should know, in case you do happen to find a mate because that's one area you can pleas-" Dan cuts Alika off.

"Okay, enough about sex lives or lack of sex life, can we please focus on the real topic here? Unlike you guys, my boyfriend's life is on the line."

"Okay.... Who do we know that has red fur as a wolf and is a female?" Cassidy pipes up.

"Jessie?" Alika suggests. Eden shakes her head.

"Waaaaay to tall to be Jessie."

"That's true. Jessie is really short."

"Hmm.... What about Lady Celeste  Mark?" Jack asks out of the blue. My eyes widen as I stare him down.

"Lady Celeste's fur is pure white, not red," Jack seemed surprised at my defensive behavior.

"Dude, chill. I was just throwing a name onto the plate."

"Yeah, well think next time before you accuse someone!" I growl, suddenly irritated. Eden frowns.

"I don't know any other females who have red fur as a wolf," she mutters. I shake my head.

"Nor do I..." I glance at Jack who was staring hard at the floor in concentration. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head.

"We can try contacting Lady Celeste! She's popular with the females so maybe she knows some wolves with red fur?" Everyone nods.

"Doesn't hurt to give it a shot," Jack says softly. I nod.

"Okay, I need a bowl of water. That's the only way I can contact her."
