"Must you really go?" Hannah asked as she sat at the edge of the bed watching Maddox finish getting dressed.

His gaze met hers in the mirror.

Koda immediately perked up as her large brown eyes filled with worry, held his.

He turned slowly and approached her.
"I have to. I need to meet with the other Alpha's in the other territories to get them on board with what is happening."

She nodded. She understood what he had to do. As of late, more and more light beings are turning up dead. The Demon king and his demons are on the hunt and have been seeking them out.

He gently caressed her cheek pulling her thoughts back to the present.
"I won't be gone long. Two days the most but I will be back quickly."

She rose her fingers to caress his hand on her cheek. Gently she turned her face and pressed her lips to his palm. The gesture warmed him to his core. He slowly lowered his head and pressed his lips to hers.

Sensual and soft as always.
His weakness.
It was her kiss filled with so much sweetness that he failed to pull away and he followed her down until he was above her on the sheets.

The preening wolf with the wagging tail was aware of it, he put up no resistance as Mia held his gaze with a come hither thou look of her own.

Maddox made a mental note that he will only be 15 minutes. 15 minutes is all he needed to caress her, kiss her, calm her. Then an hour had passed. He looked at his watch and exhaled. Exhausted but sated all the same he felt her warm, lithe body curl up closer to his. Koda stretched and followed suit beside Mia. He roles his eyes and shook his head as he lay beside Hannah, then chuckled.
Who was he kidding?
A kiss from her was never enough.

"Umm...Alpha?"
The nervous voice of one of the pack member rumbled across his mind.

"Yea "

"We are ready to leave when you are."

"I'll be down in a minute."

He exhaled. It's what he said an hour ago before he got trapped with her soft limbs and sheets.

Deep down he did not want to leave her side. But he needed to go to the west and northwest territories to sit with the Alpha's and their pack. This was a situation that affected all of them. They were part of an enclave of supernaturals. Celestial watchers were in their area and could be targeted as well.

He slowly stood and got dressed. All the while his gaze danced over her sleeping peacefully. He sat down gently at the edge of the bed and watched her for a while. His thoughts drifted to memories of when they first met.

So much has happened in such a short time. Now the fate of all of them falls on her shoulders. 'It was imperative to keep her out of the Demon kings grasp.' Gaia had mentioned.

'A fallen angel can be dangerous' she added. 'they can be easily persuaded '

There was so much he did not understand. He wanted to know more. If he was to have any kind of future with her he needed to know.

But it would have to be when he returns. He needed more answers then what was given to him. He exhaled and slowly stood. He gently leaned over and kissed her cheek.
She moaned gently and borrowed deeper beneath the sheets.

He waited to see if she would wake up. Satisfied that she didn't, he quietly reached for his packed duffle bag on the floor. He paused at the door for a while and glanced over at her one last time before he left.

By the time she woke up it was an hour shy of the midday morning. Enough time to bathe in the midday sun like she always does.
Stretching and smiling she lay their for a minute and remembered her time with Maddox before he left. His love making was toe curling at best.

Slowly she sat up and crawled off the bed towards the door to lock it. She turned then and walked slowly towards the window and drew the curtains open, found her spot on the floor and spread her wings. She stretched them as far out as they could go and she sighed as the warmth of the sun heated her skin.

She smiled as she felt the whisper of his touch on her mind. She stretched and accepted his gentle words that spread over their personal mindlinked conversation. They were words only for her. It felt as if he were with her in the room. She remained silent as he spoke to her and his words caressed her.

"You know what?" The deep rumble of his voice settled at her side.

His wolf curled up beside her. Her wolf accepted his warmth and nuzzled deep into him.

"What?" She asked. Waiting for him to continue she remained silent.

"When all of this over. And we have defeated the demon king. I want to settle down and think of our family. I ....want to have children." He said.

Her heart quivered. Immediately, Mia's head shot up. Koda slowly stood and waited for her to say something.

Hannah's fingers slowly lowered to her stomach. A warmth like she hadn't had in a while bathed over her. It was calming and pure.

"A child?. You want to have..a child?" She asked softly.

Koda gently knelt before Mia and nudged her.

"I want to have multiple children with you." Maddox rumbled off with a chuckle.

They remained silent for a while. Her mindlink was open and unaware of her thoughts escaping. Thoughts that were pure and filled with joy and..fear.

He chuckled. She immediately caught herself as her intimate thoughts escaped her.

"You will be an amazing mother. If we were fated to be together, I don't see why we can not have children from this union." He pointed out.

Again their words drifted off into silence. She rubbed her abdomen gently and a tiny smile formed on her lips.

"Yes..." She whispered.

Koda stood up and Mia followed. The two began to ruff house.

She felt the excitement in Maddox's tone as he asked her again.

"Yes. I want to have a baby." She repeated softly.

"If I could grab you and kiss you right now, sweet heart. I would. " He said filled with excitement.

She sighed as he mumbled words of love and reminded her that he was hers when he returns in two days.

He finally told her good bye and expressed his love before their mindlink went silent.

She continued to lay there lost in thought. To have a child with her mate would mean a lot for the pack. She honestly did not know anything about birthing a child. She has been in this realm for a short period of time.

She still has not aquatinted herself with female human life except for the clothing and styles. Perplexed she lay there and tried to remember what little Nikkie had explained to her. It was too much to remember.

"Monthly periods, bloating and PMS...are the worst." Nikkie rambled on as she pulled a box of tampons off the shelf in the grocery Isle.

"It's much more different then going into your first heat as a wolf," she added as she tossed two bottles of body wash into the cart.

"Omg! Don't get me started on how sensitive your boobs get and how the craving for chocolate becomes intense."

She was confused with what Nikkie was explaining. Human female reproductive woes was trivial to her. Although she had them, she did not suffer their plight.

"Eventually, I think you will get this. Gaia said you haven't... acclimated yet to this realm. For you, all of this will be new and confusing." Nikkie shrugged with a gentle smile.

She calmed herself. These things will come. When? She did not know. But they will.

Calmly she remained there until the sun had finally set and before she knew it, the room was dark.

The sudden light tap on her door pulled her out of her light sleep. She didn't realize she had dozed off until the tap came again and Nikkie spoke through the door.

"Hannah are you in there?"

Immediately she sat up and folded in her wings. She ran to the bed and searched between the sheets for her top and panties.

She answered on the third tap and pulled open the door.

She was confronted by the brightest smile she has ever seen on Nikkie.

"Get dressed." Nikkie ordered as she pulled Hannah along.

Confused she followed her to her closet and stood there dumbfounded as Nikkie pulled out her clothes for her.

"Why must I get dressed?" Hannah asked as Nikkie continued to rummage through her clothes.

"Because we are going to the club."
