"Hannah! Open the door," his chest constricted as he held her tray of food in one hand while the other pressed to the door.

The urge to kick it down was his next best option, but he had to focus all of his energy on not doing that.

"I brought something for you to eat," he mumbled.
He waited. He listened.
His mind was shrouded in a thick fog of misery and sadness.

Their bond was so strong that he knew the moment she took off and he went after her. Its been a constant thing as of late.
She was suffering.  Her need for answers he could not give her, had her looking up to the skies, literally  beating down heavens door for them.  But , it was no use.

"Baby, please," he begged.

The weight of the tray that moments ago weighed nothing to him, was now noticeable. She hadn't eaten in nearly two days. She refused to come out of the room.

"I'm not hungry," she whispered with a muffled and strained sob. He heard it as clear as day. His heart imploded in his chest with the frailness in her tone.

With a groan he rested his forehead against the door and drew in several breaths as he shut his eyes. He could feel his eyes changing and Kodas incessant pacing wasn't helping. He could feel what was happening to her as if it were taking place in his own body.

"If you don't open this door. I will pull it off of its frame."
Shit.
The threat was out before he could catch himself and immediately he felt that sudden emotional pulse his threat did to her.

"Can we atleast talk?" he begged.

A moment of silence passed. Then the door unlocked and slowly opened.

He stepped into the room that would be clearly empty to the naked human eye, but no to him. His gaze landed on the silhouetted outline of her on the floor by the couch. Her invisible form was curled up with her head resting on the cushion.

He closed the door behind him and placed the tray on the dresser. Then he slowly made his way towards the couch and crouched behind her.

"Hey," he murmured softly reaching for her.

"You are not supposed to see me," she sobbed and pulled away.

He could sense her agitation.

He refused to let her pull away so he inched closer and wrapped his fingers around her waist and pulled her closer.
She did not protest. He could feel the defeat in her as she sniffled and leaned in to his embrace.

"Why am I not supposed to see you?" he asked stretching out his legs and cradling her in his lap.

"I'm cloaked," she said. "I am supposed to be invisible."

He lowered his lips to the back of her head and listened to her.

"But that doesnt matter. I'm defective. I understand now why I am not wanted," her voice cracked. "Why I was cast out."
His heart and stomach dropped simultaneously with what she was saying.

"That's not true," he reached up and caressed her cheek then turned her around to face him. His wolf whined and he moaned looking into wet puffy eyes.

"It is true," a tear fell.

"I can not do anything right. Something is wrong with me," she blurted out. "I'm a disappointment to my kind."

He hissed with the tightness in his chest, it was a freaking miracle he didnt drop dead right there from the raw pain radiating from her.

"No, there is nothing wrong with you," he cupped her cheeks and wiped away her tears but they wouldn't let up.

He pulled her close and pressed his lips to hers wanting to calm her and settle the intense need that was eroding his entire soul to go out and kill whoever upset his mate.

You're not a disappointment to me.

She gasped. But he refused to let her pull away. Her small fingers caressed his jaw as she trembled in his hold. It was a good sign. He could smell her need as the kiss intensified and broke through the haze of confusion, sadness and pain that filled her mind.

Nothing he tried had worked in the past two days since he lifted her into his arms off the damp ground in the forest. She had shut everyone out.

Until now. 

It was there and he could sense it. That hint of need and desire scratching at the surface of their bond, that it had him slowly growing hard beneath her.

The sweetness of her lips sent muscle-shuttering sensual tension through his entire body and with it a primitive growl rumbled from his chest.

It excited her. He could tell.

The kiss intensified and suddenly his strong hands went beneath the flimsy fabric of her shirt that covered her soft skin, and gently cupped her breast.

And all control was lost. His lips pressed to her throat and a beautiful shimmer encased them as she moaned lightly.

Before he knew it, his warm hand that kneaded and caressed the spot between her shoulder blades,  felt the downy softness of feathers growing and extending.

Awareness and reality suddenly broke through the hazy fog of their desire. She trembled in his hold as her wings finally tore through the remnants of her shirt. Their breaths mingled as he hungrily held her gaze.

Amber gold eyes flickered with fascination and held hers that were now big watery pools of fear. She slowly averted her gaze and lifted her fingers away from his chest to cover her breasts.

He said nothing as he continued to stare at her. The precarious position she ended up in made everything now more colorful and...very clear as she sat astride him. Nervously, her wings fluttered as she tried to pull away from him but he stopped her.

"Don't." he begged. "Don't pull away,"
He held her tight in his arms, they sat in silence on the floor facing each other.

Entranced by the enormous beautiful wings protruding from his mates back, he let out a shaky breath.
"Can-I?" he whispered.

Understanding filled her brown eyes as she sat still before him. No one has ever touched them.

Nervously, She nodded.

His gaze slowly swept over them as he lifted his finger and tentatively touched the white downy softness of one..then another.

Hannah closed her eyes succumbing to the extremely sensuous experience of his touch. A sudden sweet scent of calming peace spilled from her and filled the room as her feathers fluttered under his fingers.

A rush of pleasure filled his veins as she shimmered in his arms. The few precious moments of his touch stole her breath away and threw her own senses into chaos.

An appreciative growl rumbled from his chest the instant her eyes opened and began to glow.

"You're so damn gorgeous, you know that?" he looked into those vulnerable eyes that sparkled. That pulled at his soul.

To him and his wolf. She was perfection.

"And you sure as hell are not a disappointment. Understand?" he whispered caressing her.

Her lips parted in protest but he would hear none of it so he took advantage and pressed his lips to hers.

The possessive intent of his hungry kiss had her nerve endings tingling. A moan rippled from her chest. The breathless little sounds she made consumed him.

Holding her light weight to him, he turned with her and lay her gently beneath him.
Mesmerized by her spread wings, his gaze lowered to hers. She stared up at him with a dazed pleasure that captivated him.

He lowered himself gently between her thighs and glided his lips tenderly along the column of her neck.

"Male?" She whispered softly to him as his fingers lowered her panties.

He nipped her jaw. "It's Maddox," he murmured.

"Maddox?" she panted with a moan as his fingers found the sensitive hardened nub between her slick heat. The aching throb in her womb made her shiver. He glanced down at her then.

He found himself helpless and drowning in the depths of her eyes.

She nibbled on her swollen glistening lip. The coyness of the gesture just about had him losing his mind and close to spilling his seed.

"Are we going to have..." she began but then she stopped as he focused intently on her and  his lips curled into a gorgeous smile. Beautiful brown eyes filled with yearning locked with glowing amber eyes.

"Yes we are, my sweet Angel," he whispered. "And we are to going to have plenty of it."

So sorry I havent been updating. Its been a hectic month as you know i work from home. Orders came in that have to be completed and it takes nost of my time. But I managed to get a few words down for this chapter update. Tell me what you think.
