I haven't spoken to Bentley in three days! Three whole days!

I haven't even left the house either.

Anna and girls have come to visit me, bringing me food and movies. I left the house once to go to the villages market to grab dog food.

Bentley was standing in front of gym, looking tired and irritated.

When he saw me his face lit up, he began to walk towards me but the orb would appear every time he would get close enough.

I think that's why Bentley hasn't came home the orb preventing him.

I can't find my book, to help me figure it out, so it looks like I'll have to wait to figure it out.

Anywho the girls have brought me food and I feel like a fat pig.

Enough of of being stuck in the house I decide to go for walk to the dogs.

I go upstairs and change into a hoodie and leggings, it's night time and a little chilly.

We walk out and I lock the door before bringing our walk.

As we walk the dogs stop at every darn tree.

"Are serious Bronx? You just peed on the last six trees?" I say groaning.

To temp me, he peas on another tree.

"Now your just being a brat." I say and him and Brookyln set off running.

Since they are basically up to chest and alot stronger they pull me along.

My legs get so tired from trying to keep up.

They lead me all they way to a little covered area upfront of some houses.

Beyond the trees I hear some voices.

"Romona." I hear a voice say.

It sounds like Bentley.

"But don't you remember how we were? Don't you miss that?" I hear none other that the slut her self speak.

"No Romona, I don't. I have a mate now." I hear Bentley say.

I take a peak to see Romona and Bentley standing in front of a house. This must be where Bentley has been staying.

"A mate who isn't talking to you." Romona says crossing her arms.

"Yes because of you.  Now I would appreciate it if you would please respect my wifes wishes and leave me alone." Bentley says respectfully.

Brownie points for him!

"Are you kidding me? All this over a human?" Romona says and I can't tell she's rolling her eyes.

What I wouldn't do to roll them right out of her head.

I hear Bentley growl, then he is in Romona's face.

"That human happens to be my mate, the Luna of my pack. You will not place disrespect around her name. I should have listened to her in the beginning." Bentley says as Romona crumbles in fear.

"Now go." Bentley says loudly.

I watch as Romona scurries off.

Bentley is about to head inside, when he stops and looks right at my direction.

I drop down so I'm in between the dogs.

Bronx being the lunatic he is, barks.

I try to spring up and pull the dogs with me, but Bentley whistles and the dogs pull to go him.

It's like a game of tug or war, and unfortunately I lose, making me fall and leashes breaking away from my hands.

Shit. Shit.

What am I going to do?

"What are you guys doing out?" I hear Bentley say to the boys and I hear Bronx bark again.

Traitor.

I then seeth a plan.

I pull at bun so it looks floppy, almost like I was just running.

I then walk into out to revealing myself to Bentley.

I pretend to breathe hard.

"You guys are in big trouble." I say trying to sound breathless.

"Did they run away from you ?" Bentley asks walking the dogs to me.

"Yeah." I say taking the leashes.

Our hands brush eachother and I feel the sparks I so dearly missed.

I look at the ground, knowing Bentleys eyes are on me.

"How are you?" He asks softly.

"Awesome, how about you?"
I say looking at him.

"I've been better." He says with a small smile.

I rock on my heels as we go into another silent moment.

"Can i come home?" Bentley suddenly asks.

I stare at him.

"I'm sorry Lucy, I should have respected your wishes as my wife, as my mate. You were completely right about Romona and how she feels towards me. I guess I was just being stuborn." He says looking me in the eye.

I smile at the fact that he realizes that I was right the whole time.

"I hope that smiles means a good thing." He says a small chuckle.

I nod.

"Yes you can come home." I say before being lifted in the air.

"I missed you love!" He says showing my faces in kisses.

Brooklyn and Bronx begin to bark and jump

"Keep it down! We're trying to sleep!" I hear Greysons voice from a window shout.

I laugh and Bentley kisses me shutting me up.

Every time we kiss I get that same feeling from the first time I met him.

Sparks, butterflies, warmth.

I missed him.

We walk home and Bentley tells me how miserable he wasn't not being able to see me.

"What is that shield thing? We're you doing it in purpose?" He asks.

"I don't know what it was. Half the time I didn't know it appeared." I say as we walk up the steps to our house.

"I tried to come home three times, but it prevented me from coming pass the steps." He says with a frown

I shrugg. "I wonder what it is."

Bentley then pulls me into a hug.

"I'm sorry." He says looking down at me.

"Its fine." I say.

"No it's not." He says pulling strand of hair behind my ear.

"Alright well I haven't sleepy in three days so, I would like if we went to bed." I say and Bentley chuckles.

I turn to open the door and Bentley has a smirk on his face.

"What?" I say letting the dog free.

"You're heart rate is steady." He says.

"Okay?" I say confused.

"The dogs didn't run away from you, and you weren't chasing them." Bentley says shutting the door then placing  his hands in his hips.

I go to protest but Bentley raises his eyebrow.

"Okay fine. I was walking and i heard you talking to Romona." I say fixing my hair.

"Knew it." He says with a smirk.

"Yeah, yeah." I say rolling my eyes.

"We should get some rest tomorrow is the last day of games." He says tapping my nose beginning up the stairs.

"I didn't even participate once." I say following him.

"I know, but tomorrow is a giant game of capture the flag and Luca wants everyone to join." Bentley says as we enter our room.

"I suck at capture the flag, I always get caught." I say sliding out of my sweatshirt and into a t-shirt.

"Dont worry, I'll protect you." Bentley says pulling me into the bed.

"You better." I reply snuggling into him.

"Always."

And with that I sigh before falling asleep.
