Chapter 22: Setting Things Straight!

=========================

Logan just sat there for a second, doing a double take, maybe a triple take on what he's just heard, Logan can't for the life of him remember doing anything like that with Scarlett, a hug maybe but nothing that will lead to a kid, especially Rosie being his daughter and all.

Logan: I'm sorry, I think I passed out for a second. I swear you just told me that Rosie's my daughter.

Logan isn't sure how he feels a bout this, a little uncomfortable since she is his step mom and a little bit of an asshole for not even remembering when this was supposed to have happened or even if it did, he could have just missed heard her, he has done quite a lot today, from working out to finding Brooke then sitting here hearing this news.

Scarlett: I know it doesn't make sense and it's probably hard to hear but it's true. I had a DNA test done just to be certain, why do you think she looks like you?

Logan just "Um'd" while sitting back on the couch with a small shrug, he just assumed that she looked like their father, you know, with them having the same dad, although it's not quite like that now, since apparently they don't have the same dad, Logan's her dead.

Logan: How?

Scarlett seemed pretty sure he's her father and she wouldn't say this unless it's true, plus she did a DNA test, now Logan months ago wouldn't have believed her unless she showed him the results but he has felt this little connection between him and Rosie since they met, she wasn't born when Logan left so he never met her till that day in Cardiff all those weeks ago now.

Scarlett: Your dad was away on business and you came home either drunk or high, I honestly thought you were sleep walking to start with, you're not supposed to wake them up. Plus it had been a while since I... Well, you know...

She gave a small nervous chuckle while rubbing the back of her neck, Logan didn't remember that night but did remember that when he was 16, he did a lot of stupid shit, apparently he's still learning about those fuck up's till this day, though he only has one thing on his mind.

Logan: I'm sorry I put you through that.

Scarlett didn't expect him to apologise and honestly, she wasn't sorry, Logan drunk is better then his father sober, so she just giggled to him a little while waving it off, causing them both to smile a little, Logan still felt a little uncomfortable about it but she didn't care, Rosie is one of the best things to happen to Scarlett since she met his father and he is the reason she's here.

Logan: Does she know...?

Logan asked looking across to Scarlett, who shook her head "No" to him when she remembered she never told her, they didn't think they've ever see Logan again so she didn't bother, maybe she would have when Rosie was older and more mature but not at 13.

Logan: ... Is she here?

Scarlett nodded as she is, Rosie's up in her room doing either homework or something else, which it was their not too sure, Logan though just stood up to go and see her, Scarlett didn't stop him, only sighing to herself that she no longer has to keep that secret to herself anymore, Logan however made his way to the floor where Rosie's room is and knocked on the door, after taking a fairly deep breath.

Logan: Rose, you in here?

Logan asked after slightly opening the door to see Rosie on her bed speaking to someone on her phone, apparently she's made new friends pretty quickly, though Logan looked at her in a whole different light now, she's not his sister, she's his daughter, something he's not sure of what to do, he's never been a dad before, defiantly not to a 13 year old girl.

Rosie: ... Yeah, I'll call you in a minute.

Rosie hung up her phone while Logan stepped into the room, closeting the door behind him, she put her phone down and gave him her full attention, Logan didn't really know what to say though, so he just kinda stood there awkwardly.

Logan: Uh, how's school?

She just shrugged a little to him as it was school, no one can honestly like school, Logan hated it, he was forced to go and the classes where dull, he has ADHD so how did they decided to teach him, have him read from books while talking at the front of the class, he was never going to learn like that.

Logan: Look, I'm... I'm not really sure how to tell you this, so I'm just gonna rip it off...

Logan said walking over to her, sitting on the edge of her bed, Rosie moved her legs around to put them to the floor, so she's sitting beside him, they both turned their bodies to face the other though while Rosie waited for what he had to say.

Logan: ... I'm you're father.

Logan was going to do it like Darth Vader but then choice not to since this is actually a pretty serious thing to tell someone, especially someone that has barely met you and called you her brother since that time, Logan waited for her to say something but she didn't, she just kinda looked at him for a good few seconds.

Rosie: Oh...

Rosie seemed to piece it all together in her mind while looking to the floor and realising what this meant, she didn't seem to hate the news or be frilled about it either but she has a choice of who her father can be, either, Logan of Ryan, not really much in terms of role models there.

Rosie: ... So, what does this mean?

That was a really good question and one that Logan wasn't really sure the answer to, if anything these past few months have been a real cluster fuck for him and everyone involved, he was happy as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion as well as being single but now that's all changed, he has his family back, one sister and now one daughter with another baby on the way, it's all came along like a London bus.

Logan: Well, the way I see it, we can do two things...

Logan spoke up after they sat in silence for a few moments, Logan actually didn't hate this, liked the idea more the hated it, sure he's not great at being a father but surely he can do better then his did, to be honest he can't really do any worse.

Logan: ... One, we can plead ignorance and pretend that we never heard this...

It was an option, one that Rosie listened to because they both can't decide here what they want, they have to take into account what the other person wants as well or it won't work if one person wants one thing but then the other wants another.

Logan: ... Or, if you want to. We can actually give this whole "Father, daughter" thing a try.

Logan wanted to give her the choice to make, he didn't want to make her feel pressured by his choice, which is actually the second one, he'd like to give this a try but if she feels otherwise then he'll pretend like nothing happened.

Rosie: I think the second one could be fun.

She smiled to him as Logan looked to her, he smiled back while a little happy she wanted to give it a try, honestly he's actually pretty confident he can do a good job, as stated before, he can't really do much worse then his father did, just Logan sitting here and talking to her makes him better already.

Rosie: You do now know that you owe me 13 years worth of pocket money right.

Logan chuckled to her as she managed to break the tension a little, she then hugged him which caught him a little out but he hugged her back, he's hugged her before but this one felt different, it felt better, so he wanted to leave it there before he does something to ruin the moment.

Logan: Right, well. I'll see you soon?

Logan asked and said while she nodded to him, Logan waved a little bye before walking out the room, leaning on the door with a small smile for how the conversation went as well as a small sigh from how the conversation went.

Logan went back down the stairs to find Scarlett in the kitchen, he told her what they talked about and she seemed pleased that their going to give this a try, they both however made it clear that it will never happen again, it was a mistake all those years ago, one that neither of them want to repeat, they've grown to know each other too well, almost like a real mother and son, even though there is only 2 years age gap between them.

Logan left the house and walked towards his car, that's when he got a message from Gionna about going over to Alexis' place, he then remembered he needs to tell them both about Rosie, more Gionna then Alexis but still them both, he's probably going to need that therapy session now more then ever.

Logan got into his car after telling her he's on his way, then that left both Alexis and Gionna to wait for him back at Alexis' place, all where everything will come out in the open, this is it, this is where Alexis will ask Logan to be part of the babies life, if something else happens then something else happens.

Alexis: You sure about this?

Alexis asked a little nervous while pacing a tad, the dogs are running around outside keeping themselves distracted leaving them both to talk in the open planed kitchen, Gionna smirked to her nervousness but really didn't see why she is, Alexis is usually the confident one out of everyone, she handle's haters perfectly, not to mention Logan's bullshit.

Gionna: Relax, you know what Logan's like, he'll probably have a minute of doubt then be everything he needs to be.

Gionna just described the new Logan to a full stop, Logan is exactly like that now, he doesn't over think things anymore, he doesn't lock stuff away anymore and he can actually trust his friends, making their relationships all so much better for all.

Gionna: That'll be him. Just be honest.

Alexis nodded as Gionna hopped off the stool and went to get the recently knocked door, she opened it to see Logan there, he looked a little stunned about something but she just put that down to what happened with Brooke, also he'll tell her about it later.

Gionna: You, come here.

she grabbed his hand, dragged him into the house then shut the door, Logan did ask what's going on but she ignored him, dragging him into the kitchen where Alexis was waiting, it was a little awkward to start with but they relaxed after Logan gave her a small smile, showing that he didn't blame her for acting the way she did last week.

Gionna: Now, no one is leaving till this get's sorted out.

Logan and Alexis looked to Gionna as she sat there on the stool, just looking between them both, Logan and Alexis were surprised by how much she's taken this situation by the balls but that just make him love her all that much more, he couldn't help but admire Alexis a little as well...

... Even with a baby in her, she's still one of the most beautiful people he's ever seen, but that's not what he's here for, he's here for one very simple thing and that was to make sure that she knows, no matter what happens, he'll be here for her.

Logan: I'm sorry about Ryan. I am, you both seemed really happy...

Alexis smiled sadly to him while remembering the feeling she has felt every day since he left, she has heard from him, he wants a divorce but wants nothing from it, just that they go their separate ways, almost like nothing has happened.

Logan: ... You should know though that I won't leave you. Not again. I'm in this for the long run.

Logan smiled to her as he stood just in front of her, he didn't expect anything in return, only her maybe saying thank you with a small hug but instead, Alexis just looked up to him, a wonder look in her eyes before she reached to the back of his head, pulling him down into a kiss.

Logan didn't know what to do, he only glanced to Gionna at the corner of his eye, she just smirked with a small wink, he's not sure what the fetish is where you have this desire to share your loved one with others but Gionna defiantly has it, like she said though, Logan had a minute of doubt then embraced the kiss, Alexis smiling while she felt him actually getting into it, this isn't like those nights before, this is much, much different...
