Heshiena's Point of View

Sumilay sa aking mga labi ang matamis na ngiti. Maganda ang gising ko. I made a quick glance outside of my room's window. Hanggang ngayon makulimlim pa rin ang paligid. I gritted my teeth and balled my palms into fists in determination.

Sa wakas ay tapos na rin ang paghahanda namin para sa paparating na peligro.

If I am not mistaken, ngayon kami mag-uusap sa susunod na hakbang namin. Sabi sa propesiya, may dalawang araw at isang gabi kami sa paghahanda. And we already completed it yesterday.

After I washed my face, dumiretso na kaagad ako sa kusina. Like my everyday routine. As usual, nadatnan ko sina Fugeo at Erin.

"Good morning, Lady Heshiena," Fugeo never hesitated to greet me.

Erin just bowed her head. Nginitian ko sila pareho. Good thing, they are back to who they are. Thanks to one of my abilities. I just found out I have the ability similar to the queen of gods, Hera, which is keeping the family together.

I am aware of how many times I questioned myself if I am really the daughter of Poseidon and Artemis. I mean, I have similar abilities with some of the members of our class . I can manipulate lightning. And lastly, I can conjure weapons and disarm my opponent.

Except for Blei since we share the same father.

Fuego looked me in the eye. It was then followed with a nod. Momentarily, inilapag niya ang tasang may lamang kape. Isinunod kaagad niya ang sandwich na may lamang omelette.

"Thank you," I mouthed.

Saktong pag-upo ko ay nagsulputan na ang iba. Surprisingly, mukhang sabay-sabay pa silang nagising. Aresa and Seilo once again bickering first thing in the morning. Seilo complaining how malodorous Aresa's mouth was.

He even compared it to the smell of feet.

Dahil dito sa pabirong banat ni Seilo, syempre, hindi talaga siya tatantanan ni Aresa hangga't hindi ito nakaganti sa pamamagitan ng pisikalan. Napailing na lamang ako ng aking ulo. Ito namang Seilo, wala ng ibang nakita pa't si Aresa lagi ang inaasar.

He must have a lot of courage to do that given that we all know whose daughter she was.

"Come back here you fucking idiot!" Umalingawngaw ang malakas na sigaw ni Aresa sa buong cabin. "You never failed me to ruin my day first thing in the morning! You better hide well or else I'm gonna kill you this time!"

Chry clicked her tongue in annoyance. I saw how her jaw moved, indicating that she gritted her teeth. Majority of the guys here were silently laughing over Seilo's stupid remarks.

Nagpakawala ako ng hindi makapaniwalang pagbuntonghininga. The offspring of Athena were just shaking their heads as if in disbelief over Aresa's violent nature. Blei's face, on the other hand, were filled with worries.

"Seilo's gonna be fine," said Blaze.

She looked at him unsure. Blaze just caressed her shoulder telling her that there's nothing to worry about. I was taken by surprise when thunder echoed. Chry was holding her spoon with a tight grip.

Any moment now, she could fold the spoon in two.

Nahinto lamang ang kulog at kidlat nang dumating na ang dalawa sa kusina. Well, that means one thing. Chry still holds that frightful attitude that make anyone fear her. She's not the leader for nothing.

"That's what I thought," Chry commented, looking at the both of them with a dreadful gaze.

Nang makaupo na ang lahat sa upuan ay namayani ang katahimikan. Thankfully, with the help of Chry's constant harrowing gaze, our breakfast has been peaceful. Kaniya-kaniya na ng mundo ang lahat.

The boys are having fun watching television. Ace, as usual, is at the veranda with his beauty products. Nasa tabi niya naman si Chry na tahimik na nagmamasid sa ginagawa niya.

He even smiles in front of the mirror from time to time. Nkri and Blaze are in the corner talking over something.

Si Erin naman ay naiwan sa kusina, nagliligpit. Umalis na si Fuego kanina patungo sa armory. Aresa was sharpening her daggers while glancing at Seilo with the intent to kill. Si Blei naman ay nagbabasa ng libro. The twins were having a good time together, sitting at the stairs.

Pero napapansin ko ring panay sulyap si Yumi kay Chry.

Habang ako naman ay lumabas na rin papuntang veranda. Napaayos ng upo si Chry nang makita niya ako. Ace only smiled at me. Good thing, hindi na umuulan. Pero 'yong araw at buwan, hindi na muling nagpakita.

Nilagpasan ko ang dalawa.

Diretso lamang ako sa dulo ng veranda. Tumingin ako sa dagat. Walang nagbago. The waves are still averagely aggressive.

Nagmuni-muni lamang ako sa paligid. Hangga't sa nawalan ng lakas ang mga tuhod ko. But I still managed to firmly stood my ground.

"Lady Heshiena, are you okay?" Narinig kong tanong sa akin ni Ace.

I couldn't able to respond when flashes of images appeared before my eyes. From where I am standing, napansin ko ring pareho kami ng sitwasyon ngayon nina Yumi at Zuki. My forehead furrowed in confusion.

What the hell is happening to me?

These flashes of images . . . are they visions?

Is this how it feels when Zuki sees the future?

"We need to talk." Sumulpot si Mavros sa aming harapan.

Ramdam na ramdam ko ang mga titig sa akin ni Chry. Habang si Ace naman ay karaka-rakang nagligpit sa mga gamit niya sa lamesa. Nauna akong bumalik sa loob. Zuki and Yumi looked each other in the eye. They even swallowed simultaneously.

"We saw a vision." Even how they speak, sabay pa sila.

Nang makumpirma ng dalawa na nandito na ang lahat sa living room, pareho silang bumuntonghininga. Everyone were waiting. Habang ako naman ay nakababa lang ang tingin. I was thinking of all the possible reasoning of why I am also capable of seeing visions.

Tinignan kami ni Yumi isa-isa.

"Three days from now . . ."

Nandito na kaming lahat sa school ground. May apat na kotseng nakaparada sa harapan namin. We divided ourselves into three for this mission. Because of that vision, three days from now the four borders of the realm of the half-bloods will be challenged once again.

Base sa vision na nakita ko, tatlong borders ng realm ang aatakehin ng monsters. Trying to break all the barriers so they could easily invade with their allies.

I have the feeling the vision we saw earlier was incomplete.

But the good thing is that we have a lead.

Magkasama kaming apat nina Ace, Chry, at Mavros papuntang Aeras City. We glanced at our cabin for one last time. Momentarily, the four car's engines came back to life.

"Take care everyone." Napatingin ang lahat sa akin. They smiled at me. "See you all at Nero City."

Dalawang kotse ang papunta sa Fotia City dahil anim silang magkasama. Ang grupo naman ni Nkri ay sa kanila ibinigay ang Gi City. Pagkatapos nila akong tinanguhan ay kaniya-kaniya na kaming nagsipasukan sa aming sasakyan.

The four borders of the Realm of the Half-Bloods was located within. Sa kabila ng mga nangyayari ngayon, hindi ko pa rin mapigilang manabik. Unang beses naming masilayan ang isa sa apat na syudad.

From afar, a golden door appeared.

Napansin ko naman si Mavros na tumingin sa rearview mirror. Nagtama kaagad ang aming mga mata.

Mabilis naman niya akong tinanguhan, senyales na papaandarin na niya ang kotse. Nauna kaming nakalabas ng premises. Everyone blew their car's horn.

A way to say goodbye to each other.
