Xander's POV
*Monday*
I didn't show for school today and I won't be there tomorrow either.
I've been avoiding Winter she keeps trying to mind link me but I refuse to let her in.
Why? You might ask.
Well it's quite simple, I've been rehearsing what I'm going to say when I propose and I can't keep lying to her.
She'll be mad at me but this will make up for it.

Winter's POV
*Tuesday*
Damn him again and again.
He wasn't at school yeaterday and today.
Why? I don't know. He wont answer to my mind links and he hasn't been at home and I'm starting to get worried.
'Babe. I'm ok I promise you' Xan says through mind link as if he can read my mind.
'I can feel you worry. I. Am. Fine.' He repeats.
I chuckle softly.
Mrs. Dumont clears her throat.
"Please pay attention, Luna" she says.
"I'm sorry" I say.
She continues her lecture on the civil war.
*after school*
"Hey girly" Lily hip bumps me.
"Hey. Wanna come over. Xander hasn't been home lately so I'm all alone" I give her my puppy eyes or baby fox eyes, whatever.
"Sure. Is Quinn coming too" she asks walking to my car.
"Yep" Quinn says jumping in my car.
"Sweet! Girls night!" I scream revving the engine.
*Winter's house*
"What movie?" I ask holding some up.
"Oh oh um what's it called uhhhh oh right Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2! I heard it's hilarious" Quinn squeals.
"Ok" I chirp putting it in the disk drive thingy, I don't know what it's called.
Halfway through the movie we are laughing our asses off.
"This is so funny" Quinn says trying to breath.
"I know" Lily says beside me squealing like a pig trying to fill her lungs with air.
"Omg. Loo-look h-he" I can't even finish my sentence because I'm laughing so hard.
When the movie is over we decided that they should spend the night.
The next morning I roll over on the floor groaning.
My eyes pop open though. I jump up and step over the sleep filled bodies on the floor to the kitchen looking at the time on the stove.
"Shit! Girls we're late! Come on we're supposed to be rehearsing graduation right now!" I yell at them.
"Ughhhh" they groan together waking up.
"It's 10:27! Hurry your asses up" that seemed to wake them up and in a half hour we are out the door.
At school we are met with a very unhappy Mr. Welsh, our science teacher.
"Girls. Your late. Explain" he says strictly stopping the rehearsal.
"Alarm clock fail" Lily says.
"Don't let it happen again" he says and I chuckle lightly.
We only have two days left.
Through the whole rehearsal I'm thinking about Xander and what I got him for his birthday.
I really hope he likes it.
One time we were talking about dogs and other domestic animals to see if we could start off with one to start our family.
I going to get him a baby great dane, I've already been to the city and bought him.
He's staying at Grams house though and he's only a month old and we still need to bottle feed him but it won't be long till he eats dog food.
Anyway Xander asked me out on a date on his birthday, strange I know but I'm going to give him Choco then.
Yes his name is Choco, he's a brown dane and the only kind in his litter, he reminded me of myself so I decided on him.
He's just so cute.
*Friday*
"Where have you been?!" I scream at Xander.
"A friends house" he says.
"Why did you miss school all week only to come back on graduation?" I ask fixing the cap on my head.
"I want to graduate" he says sarcastically.
"I'm just glad you didn't miss it. You'd have to take the year over again" I laugh a little at the thought.
He doesn't reply just listens to what Mr. Welsh says into the microphone.
This is I'm graduating. I spot my parents in the crowd and smile at them.
Mr. Welsh starts calling names and each of them say a little speech before being handed their diploma and walking back to there seat.

Xander's POV
*Saturday*
I wait on the couch in mine and Winter's house when I hear clicking of heals on the wooden stairs. I stand up and gape when she enters the room.
She's wearing a laced red dress with one sleeve the goes to her elbow and black heels with red diamond earrings and has a strapless purse in her hand.
While I'm wearing black slacks a white button up shirt and a red tie Quinn told me to wear with black dress shoes.
"You look beautiful" I say stepping up to her.
"You don't look to bad yourself. Happy birthday" she says giving me a quick peck.
"Thank you let's go" I say grabbing her hand and entwining our fingers.
Oir ride there was silent but it was comfortable the radio playing softly.
We arrive and I open her door helping her out of my mustang.
"This is gorgeous" I hear her whisper taking in her surroundings.
"Dan, Max, Lily, and Quinn helped me set it up" i says pulling out a chair for her.
She takes her seat and thanks me still looking around.
"I love the smell of the ocean" she says.
"Me too" I take a deep breath of the salty air.
She gasps and I know that's my signal.
I get down on one knee taking the ring from her.
"Winter Bea Charles I love you with all my heart. You make me laugh or smile when I'm angry. I remember when I first met you and you pretended to be human but we ended up kissing and you telling me the truth. That was one of the best days of my life. I want today to be another one of my favorite days. Winter, will you marry me?" I ask and I can see her shocked expression. I'm starting to get nervous because she hasn't answered and it's been like a minute.
"Yes" she whispers "Yes! Yes! Dear God yes!" She says standing up as I do and kisses me.
