Me: Cami! I cannot sleep. I need to talk to you like now.

Cami: Come on over! I will have the wine and snacks waiting.

I raced over to her house. I needed to tell her everything. She is going to blow a gasket. I am blowing a gasket. I rushed to her door and my knocking probably sounded like I was the police.

"COME IN!"

Cami was sitting on the couch with her robe on. Red wine waiting on the table and also our favorite snack. I swear she is the best. I take the extra glass and chug the wine down.

"Damn, babes. Slow it down. What is wrong with you?"

"Here sign this?"

"What?"

"Once you sign it I can explain everything to you. Please trust me."

Cami stared at me as if I had lost my head but she grabbed a pen out of the small white porcelain bowl and signed the paper.

"Thank god! you are not going to believe what just happened."

I told her everything. Every single detail. I probably sounded like a raging lunatic.

"Wait a minute. So, your elevator man turned out to be your sexy CEO. Then now the sexy CEO is the man you had your encounters with from the app?"

"Raven babes, drink up. we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow. Thank god tomorrow is Saturday."

"Come on, we are almost done."

"You said lingerie. We have basically bought an entirely new business wardrobe for me."

"Babes. Just from the sound of it, he is in control of the bedroom. So, you need to look sexy at work. Entice him. We are going to get lingerie now. I promise."

"Victoria's Secret?"

"It is the only lingerie place here. So at least three outfits."

"Fine."

"Okay, so what colors are you thinking?"

"I do not know. Virgin here Cami." Ding.

Cairo: What are you doing?

Me: shopping with my friend Cami. She also signed the agreement. I will make a copy and give you the original.

Cairo: Great. Where are you shopping?

Me: A store

Cairo: Really? What store?

Me: Victoria's Secret and Shhh.

"Babes, who are you texting."

"Cairo."

"Here give me that."

Cami snatched my phone and began typing and my mind froze.

Me: Hi I am Cami, the best friend. I need to know your favorite colors, please.

Cairo: Hello Cami. Red, Blue, Black.

Me: Okay thank you. No matter the contract if you hurt my babes I will haunt you.

Cairo: She is safe.

Me: Okay giving Raven her phone back now.

Me: Sorry about her.

Cairo: It is fine Raven. Remember outside of work I am human.

Me: Okay.

Cairo: Victoria's Secret huh?

Me: I said Shh.

Cairo: lol. Very interesting.

Me: You think so?

Cairo: Very.

I did not know how to respond so I went back to paying attention to Cami. We left Victoria's Secret with six lingerie outfits. So much for three. She went home as did I.

I hung up all the new wardrobes in my closet. Cami always has a habit to go overboard. I took a quick shower and threw on an old long t-shirt that had an open crisis cross pattern across my breasts.

I went to the kitchen and decided to make dinner. I am starving. Shopping with Cami can be brutal. She forgets to eat in her mayhem. I pour myself a glass of Pinot Noir and began cooking. Ding.

Cairo: Are you home?

Me: Yes. Why?

No response so I turned on my playlist and then the song Hero by Reddy Red came on. The smell of the chicken was making my mouth water. 'I can't be no hero, baby. But I'll try if you just come and take my hand.' I belted along with the song. Knock. Knock. Knock.

Who the heck can that be? I opened the door and froze.

"Cairo?"

He was standing at my door in a black loose T-shirt and blue jeans. His muscles were on full display and he was covered in tattoos. Hot! He looked and smelled of a fresh shower.

"May I come in?"

The jello-like state of my mind prevented me from forming words. My only response was to nod and let him in. Then I realized what I had been wearing and blushed

"Sorry, I was not expecting anyone so do not mind my clothing."

"I don't. I like it."

"Please have a seat. I will turn down the music. I am just cooking dinner."

He took a seat at the kitchen counter. His eyes roamed over my apartment as I turned down the music.

"So. What brings you by this evening?"

"Just wanted to see you. Is that a problem?"

"No. Just creating conversation. The food is almost done. Would you like some?"

"That would be awesome thank you. What is it?"

"Garlic Chicken Parmesan pasta."

"Smells amazing."

"Thank you. Would you like a glass of wine or a beer?"

"Beer if you don't mind?"

I grabbed him a beer and made both of our plates. I took them to the table and we took our seats. Sitting across from him I try my hardest to keep my legs crossed. Really regretting not wearing underwear at this moment.

We ate in silence. I do not about him but I was feeling awkward. I told him I am a virgin so I am not good with flirting and let alone knowing what to do. Is he wanting something? Once finished I took our plates to the sink and washed them off and placed them in the dishwasher.

He then appeared behind me. In his grip, he pushed my back up against him and dragged his hands up my thighs. There was a catch in my throat as I tried to breathe. His head rested in the crook of my neck as he kissed gently. My heart picked up the pace.

"Calm down. Raven. Not tonight. I just like seeing your reaction to my touch."

I let out a breath I did not realize I was holding. He then headed to the front door and I realized he was making his exit. I followed him. He stopped as he had an arm stretched to the handle. He then turned and pushed me up against the wall. Trapping my body with his.

His lips then crashed into mine. Roughly. At first, I was frozen but soon that melted away as I returned his kiss. A hand pulled at the back of my neck deepening the kiss. His hand grabbed at my butt causing a gasp from me. He took advantage pushing his tongue in my mouth. Exploring my mouth causing heat to surge through me.

When he pulled away a mere inches away from each other we were both panting. trying to breathe normally again from that kiss.

He then opened the door and turned his head to glance at me.
