A day before their engagement

In Mehta house everyone is busy in decorations & all. Avni Riya is sitting in the couch.

Riya: you know what you & jiju are just made for each other.

Avni smiles. Next second she hold her stomach..

Avni: aaahhhaa.

Riya: what happened Di?

Avni: nothing just stomach pain.

Riya: you won't have meals properly then what else will happen with you. If maa gets to know na she will scold badly.

Riya: ok I won't say her anything but now you have to eat something.

Avni: ok I will eat. Happy?

Riya: super happy. You sit here I am going to get something for you.

Riya stands up from the couch & Avni holds her stomach tightly & winces in pain

Avni: aaahhaa maa.

Riya: di are are you all right?

Avni faints.

Riya: maa papa. (shout)

Neela: what happened? (not noticing Avni)

Riya: maa papa look what happened to Di?

Then they notice Avni & rush to her.

Ashish: what happened to Princess, doll?

Riya: papa Di was having stomach pain so I was going to get something for her to eat.. But before I could go she winces in pain & faint.

Neela: Ashish let's go to the hospital..

Ashish: aa ab yes let's go.

Ashish pick Avni & goes to the car. He makes her lay on the back seat her head is on Neela's lap.

Riya sits on passenger seat & Ashish drive the car to hospital.

Other side

Neil is calling Avni but she isn't receiving it. How could she? She is unconscious on the way to the hospital & her phone is at home. After trying several times Neil call Riya. Riya receives the phone call.

Riya: hello jiju (sound low)

Neil: what happened Riya? Why you are sounding so low?

Riya: jiju di...

Riya starts crying. Neil gets panic.

Neil: wh what happened to Avni? Is is she alright?

Riya: we are taking Di TAZ hospital..

Neil: ho hospital....? Tell me na Riya she is alright na?

Riya: jiju you come to the hospital you get to know. Even we don't know clearly what happened to di. Only doctors can say it clearly.

Neil: aa o ok I I am coming.

Riya: ok jiju bye.

Neil runs picking his car keys.

Shweeta: tillu where are you going?

Neil: mom Avni is in hospital. I need to go.

Shweeta: I will also go with you.

Neil: mom you come with Ali later I am going.

Neil rushed to the hospital.

Neil: (To receptionist) where is the emergency ward.?

Receptionist: go straight & take first left.

Neil runs to emergency ward & sees Neela & Riya is sitting on the chair. & Ashish is in front of the door of emergency ward.

Neil: papa what doctors said?

Ashish: doctor is checking her. They don't come out yet.

Neil: you you don't worry nothing will happen to her. She she is doing all this for getting everyone's attention. No no nothing else.

Ashish hugs him tightly. Then doctor comes out.

Neil: doctor everything is alright na? She is fine na?

Doctor: who are you to her?

Neil: I am Neil Khanna her would be husband..

Doctor: Mr Khanna she is fine now. we gave her a injection. She is sleeping now. She will get up within a hour.

Neil: thank you doctor.

Doctor: Mr Khanna & Mr Mehta you both come to my cabin I want to clear something.

Ashish: is there anything to worry about doctor?

Doctor: you come to my cabin. I will tell you everything.

At the same time Shweeta & Ali also reach there.

Neil & Ashish go to doctor's cabin

Doctor: come have a seat.

They sit in front of the doctor.

Ashish: is there anything serious doctor? My princess is fine na?

Doctor: only 15%.

Neil: it's enough doctor. If there was 0% chances even then I don't have any problem. I just want her. She & her love is enough for me.

Ashish feels blessed hearing Neil.

Ashish: isn't there any treatment?

Doctor: we don't have any full proof treatment? We can't give guarantee of anything. In some cases it works & in some cases it doesn't work.

Neil: don't worry papa. Everything will be alright. She is fine it matters to us. (to doctor) when will she get discharge?

Doctor: you can take her home today itself. But you have to assure that she doesn't take any stress & takes proper rest.

Neil: yes doctor.

After talking with doctor they come out of doctor cabin..

Neela: what did doctor say?

Ashish: doctor said that the chances of her getting conceived are very low..

Everyone is in shock.

Neil: why you people making issues of it. Doctor said there is chances but it is low. There is still 15% chances. So don't worry. Everything will be alright. & if Avni can't conceive it doesn't matter We can adopt a baby.

Neela become happy listening him but someone is not happy she is shocked.

Neil: Ali you go home with mom I will come after dropping Avni at home.

Ali: ok.

Shweeta doesn't say anything & leaves with Ali. After sometime Avni regain her consciousness.

Neil: you go to Avni I am going to compete the formalities.

Ashish: ok

After completing all formalities they go home.

Neil: Avni you take rest I will meet you tomorrow.

Avni: Neil what did the doctor say?

Neil: nothing much. You don't take stress.

Avni nodes..

Neil leaves from there not before taking blessings from Ashish & Neela.

Soon Neil enter Khanna house

Shweeta: tillu I want to talk to you.

Neil: mom I am very tired we will talk later.

Shweeta: no I want to talk to you write now.

Neil: ok tell me mom

Shweeta: you won't marry Avni.

Neil: what rubbish you are talking about mom. Are you in senses.?

Shweeta: I am totally in senses that's why I am saying it. Neil you are the only heir of Khanna family. After you you son will be the heir of Khanna family. & Avni can't give the heir to Khanna family..

Neil is totally in shock. He can't believe his ears.

Neil: you are sick mom. I can't believe how can you say all this. Being a woman a mother you should understand Avni her pain. Instead of understanding her emotions you are talking about call off the marriage breaking the alliance

Shweeta: I understand Neil. But I have to think about the future & society too.

Neil: mom you are out of your mind. You don't even realise what you are saying. It's better we don't talk now. You are too much.

Saying this Neil leaves from there.

Shweeta: Neil Neil listen to me (but he doesn't listen) what do you by too much.

Neela's phone rings..

Neela receives the phone call.

Neela: hello Shweeta ji

Shweeta: Neela ji I want to talk with you & Ashish ji.

Neela keep the phone on speaker.

Neela: say it Shweeta ji we both are listening.

Shweeta: I am so sorry for what happened today. But please try to understand we can't.

Neela: you can't wh what Shweeta ji?

Somewhere they are understanding what she want to say.

Suddenly Neela & Ashish hear sound of something. They turn & see Avni is standing there holding a corner table. Her eyes were red. Neela runs to her & holds her. She starts crying hugging Neela.

Shweeta: tillu if you Marry Avni I will leave the house. I will go to your uncle's house.. Now it's your decision.

Neil is totally silent. Next day Neil call Avni. She takes her phone & sees the caller I'd. Then she keeps the phone aside & tears escape from her eyes.

Next day

Shweeta is watching TV Neil comes to her & sits on the couch.

Neil: mom mute the TV.

Neil is not looking at her. He takes a deep breath.

Shweeta: do you want to say anything?

Neil: yes

Shweeta: tell me.

Neil: as you don't want this marriage to happen, the marriage won't happen. I agree that.

Still looking down with sad face.

Neil: but I have a request you have to listen to me.

Shweeta: what?

Neil: you have to go with me somewhere without any questions.

They come to Mehta house.

Every one is sitting in the hall. Avni is looking down.

Neil: A few days ago I had no intentions of getting married even Avni hadn't. But for you people we meet each other & starts falling for each other.

Everyone is listening her.

Neil: there are low chances of her getting pregnant. I have no problem with it but my mom has problem with it she wants heir. So we can't get marry without her permission. Two persons love each other they want to get married they want to stay together but they can't because of inferiority complex. She is in pain(pointing towards Avni) I am in pain you don't care about it. I will marry her I don't have any problem with it. The problem is nither mine nor her. the problem is your attitude your low mentality. Please forgive me mom for saying all this.

Saying this Neil goes out of the house & stand in the garden area. Shweeta understands her mistakes.

Shweeta: I am so sorry Avni.

Avni: please don't say sorry mamm...(pause) aunty. You are like my mother. & mothers don't say sorry to her child.

Shweeta: no more aunty. You will be my daughter-in-law in fact you will be my daughter. So call me mammi ji.

Avni hugs her. Shweeta break the hug & kiss her forehead.

Shweeta: now go to Neil.

Avni look at Neela. Neela nodes her head..

Neil was standing alone. Avni goes to him & stand beside him.

Avni: really I am so lucky. I get you in my life. I am so glad I found you. If everyone has a husband like you, they will be the happiest wives. (Neil is just staring her) Thank you so much for coming in my life. I love you would be hubby.

Neil turns towards her.

Neil: I love you too would be wifey.

& hugs her immediately

Ali Riya (From behind): congratulations bhai bhabhi/ di jiju.
