Cayden's Pov

(Eleven minutes later)

I made it to the lab as I lands on the rooftop.

Cayden: Let's hope nothing happened.

I then started to change into my clothes in a spare duffle bag I left on the rooftop. After putting my lab coat I entered into the lab.

Cayden: Yo doc, I'm sorry I'm lat-

I look at Dr. Octavius and see that he's controlling the robotic arm that we've been working on. But then it started malfunction and a small fire happened as I quickly put it out and check to see if the doc is okay as I help him stand up to his feet.

Cayden: You good doc?

Otto: Another setback, but we're close. I can feel it.

Soon the committee walks in and sees us and what happened.

Committee: Director: Is anyone hurt?

Cayden: No, it was m-

Otto: The energy levels exceeded our expectations. From a certain viewpoint, that's a very positive development.

Committee: It doesn't smell very positive.

Otto: I assure you in the next phase-

Committee: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Is there somewhere else we can discuss?

I was about to say something in an asshole way but Otto placed an hand on my shoulder.

Otto: Take the rest of the day off, Cayden.

Cayden: But-

Otto: We'll talk later.

Cayden: *sighs* Got it boss man.

I looked at the committee people before leaving the lab and put back on my spider suit and started swinging around until I got a call from Yuri.

Yuri: Spider-Man, it's Yuri.

Cayden: Did the jolly green made it to Ryker's yet?

Yuri: Not Ryker's. Our boy qualifies for the VIP treatment. He's in the Raft.

Cayden: Ah, joining Sandman, Electro and the rest. Fisk should be honored, that some good talking with one another those assholes.

Yuri: Can you swing by the precinct? Got an issue that could benefit your unique skill set.

Cayden: Alright I'll be there.

The call soon ended as I started swinging towards the precinct as I got a call from Fionna.

Fionna: Hey big bro.

Cayden: *fires an web* Yeah? Something fucked up back at home?

Fionna: No.....Well kinda.

Cayden: What did you guys do?

Fionna: It was nothing.....Just me and Eilane was toying with your web fluid.

Cayden: You two did what?! I told you two and Calvon not to mess with them! *groans* How many did you destroyed?

Fionna: Just one.....As Eilane is stuck on the wall...We're sorry.

I just let out an annoyingly sigh as I'm still getting use to having three more younger siblings as I lands an a roof.

Cayden: The webs will dissolves in two hours. Make sure, ma, or Anthony or the damn brat doesn't see her cause granny isn't leaving work until night time. And when I'm done with what I'm doing, me, you, Eilane, and Calvon is going to have a talk. Got it?

Fionna: Got it...

Cayden: Good. See you when I get back home.

I hangs up the call and dives off of the roof and started making my way to where Yuri is at.

(Five minutes later)

I made it to the precinct as I saw Yuri holding a pack of gum as I lands.

Cayden: Now that you stopped smoking, what do you tell people when you come up here? *leans against the railing*

Yuri: *looks at me* That I need a break from their shit.

Cayden: I respect that. So why you call? *chuckles* Need a date to the policeman's bail?

Yuri: You got a black and white suit?

Cayden: Nah, just this red and blue and plus you're not my type.

Yuri: *chuckles* No bail this year anyway. We spent too much integrating OCSROP'S surveillance tech.

Cayden: Hm, worth it even though the company is being ran by an seventeen year old?

Yuri: It was...until an hour ago. The whole system went down. Citywide. Every tower.

Cayden: The hell? How that even happened?

Yuri: They tell me someone sabotaged the central server, and now all the towers are offline.

Cayden: Inside job?

Yuri: Maybe. I'll figure that out later. Right now we need to get these towers back online. Fast.

Cayden: And you called me? *place an hand on my chest* I'm shock and happy about that.

Yuri: *rolls her eyes* I called someone I can trust. Plus the signals are scrambled and we have no idea how to fix it.

Cayden: Hm. I love a challenge.

Yuri: You break it you buy it.

Cayden: Hey I'm low on millions of dollars and I thought you trusted me.

Yuri then leaves the rooftop as I walked over to the tower and started fixing it and after a minute or two I got it back online as I got a call from Yuri.

Yuri: We just had a tower come bac online, was that you?

Cayden: Yeah it was light work for me.

Yuri: Whatever you did, any chance you could do it to the other towers?

Cayden: Yeah, but letting you know I had to sync myself with the tower to get it working. I'm getting all crime data in this area right now. And there's a break in happening near me.

Yuri: Great. I've got units nearby-

Cayden: Don't bother, I'll handle it.

I hangs up the call and made my way towards where the break in is happening and beats up the thugs while getting use to my new electricity powers as i can drain electrical stuff.

Cayden: Jeez I should renamed my self to the living electrical spider for fuck sake. Dillion is gonna sue me but he can try.

I then swung over to an assault as i saved the person and told them about F.E.A.S.T. and she'll think about it as I then started to fix almost all of the towers that is near me. After doing so I decided to call the doc to check up on him.

Cayden: Hey boss man, I'm sorry I screwed up back at work and with the damn committee.

Otto: Oh don't worry about them, Cayden. The committee always gets bent out of shape over progress but I managed to smooth it over.

Cayden: You want me to come back and clean up. Because apparently that's what I'm good at.

Otto: No, no that's fine. I'm actually going to step out for the rest of the day too. A small break then back to changing the future.

Cayden: Hm, alright then. See ya tomorrow doc.

Otto: See you tomorrow Cayden.

I hangs up and looked at a window and saw the condition of my suit.

Cayden: Great the one damn time granny ran out of spandex. Have to use the lab to patch it up. Good thing doc is out of there.

I then started making my way towards the lab to get my suit fixed up.
