3rd Pov

At the hospital a car pulls up as the one who was driving, Natasha got out of the car fast and rushed into the hospital. She then rushed into the observation room where Fury was getting surgery as she spotted Maria Hill, and Steve but not Cayden.

Natasha: *whisper to Steve* Where's Cayden? I texted him the address.

Steve: *whisper back* Haven't seen him since he left the headquarters in the afternoon.

The two heard and thud as it was Cayden still in his Spider-Man suit.

Cayden: I'm here.

Natasha: Where were you?

Cayden: Caught up with something.

Steve: And that is?

Cayden: Will discuss later. 

Natasha: *looks at Steve* Is he going to make it?

Steve: I don't know.

Natasha: Tell me about the shooter.

Steve: He's fast. Strong. Had a metal arm.

Cayden: Metal arm? What is he a cyborg from the future?

Natasha: .........Ballistics?

Maria: Three slugs, no rifiling. Completely untraceable.

Cayden: The hell? If it's untraceable then that means they are-

Natasha: Soviet made.

Cayden: I was about to say that.

Soon Fury started to have problems as his body started to shake.

Cayden: Oi you bastard. You better make it. I swear if you don't I fight the goddamn devil himself to bring your ass back so i can beat you.

Then Fury stopped moving as flatline noises started to be heard as the doctors conform that Nick Fury had died.

Cayden's Pov

The doctors gave us time to say good bye the Fury as Maria walks in.

Maria: I need to take him.

I then looks at him as I hears Natasha leaving and Steve calling for her name.

Cayden: Hm, it was good to meet you Fury. 

I walked out of the room as I saw Steve go after Natasha as I followed him.

Steve: Natasha!

Natasha: Why was Fury in your apartment?

Steve: I don't know.

Natasha: *looks at me* And what you was caught up with?

Cayden: *groans* Some people hired two assassins to kill me and I got away from them with ease before toying with them.

Natasha: What did you do to have two assassins?

Cayden: *shrugs* I don't but I'm not going to find out.

Rumlow: *walks behind* Cap, Spider-Man, they want the two of you back at S.H.I.E.L.D. 

Steve: Yeah, give us a few seconds.

Rumlow: They want the two of you now.

Steve: Okay.

Cayden: Impatient ass people.

Rumlow then went back to his team as I pinch my nose while still wearing my mask.

Cayden: Ugh....

Natasha: *looks at Steve* You're a terrible liar. *walks away*

Cayden: Seems nothing is going well is it?

Steve: It's not. I got a question for you.

Cayden: And that is?

Steve: *pulls out an hard drive* Can you hide this?

Cayden: Hm, I can but need it to be hiding in plain sight.

I turned my head to look for a place to hide it as I spotted a vending machine and smirks . After hiding it me and Steve went towards Rumlow and his team as they lead us out of the hospital.

(Couple of hours later)

Steve and I was back at S.H.I.E.L.D. as Steve was suited into his stealth suit as I still have my suit on. We was making our way to meet with Alexander Pierce the Secretary. As we turned around the corner we saw Pierce talking to an agent as Steve knew who she was.

Agent: *walking passed us* Captain Rogers.

Steve: *walking* Neighbor.

Cayden: Awkward and it's funny type of awkward.

We walked inside of the office and sees Pierce as he and Steve shakes hands.

Pierce: Oh Captain. I'm Alexander Pierce.

Steve: Sir. It's an honor.

Pierce: The honor's mine, Captain. My father served in the 101st. *shakes my hand* Spider-Man, the new hero. I heard good things about you.

Cayden: Thanks....I guess.

We then started our meeting as Pierce showed us a picture of him and Fury and how he had mission that saved Pierce's daughter and many other people.

Pierce: *looks at Steve* Captain, why was Nick in your apartment last night.

Steve: I don't know.

Pierce: Did you know it was bugged?

Steve: I did, because Furry told me.

Pierce: Did he tell you he was the one who bugged it? I want you and Spider-Man to see something.

He then turned a screen behind him on, as it shows Batroc arrested as I look at the screen.

Cayden: is that live or no.

Pierce: It's live. They picked him up last night in a not so safe house in Algiers.

Steve: Are you saying he's a suspect? Assassination isn't Batroc thing.

Cayden: Yeah by looking at his ugly face he don't do that.

Pierce: No, no. It's more complicated than that. Batroc was hired anonymously to attack the Lemurian Star. And he was contacted by email and paid by wire transfer, and then the money was run through seventeen fictitious accounts. The last one going to a holding company that was registered to a Jacob Veech.

Cayden: Who's Veech?

Steve: Am I suppose to know who that is?

Pierce: Not likely. Veech died six years ago. His last address was 1435 Elmhurst Drive. When I first met Nick his mother lived at 1437.

Cayden: Let me get this straight. You thinking that Fury hired the pirates? That makes no sense at all.

Pierce: The prevailing theory was that the hijacking was a cover for the acquisition and sale of classified intelligence. The sale went sour and that led to Nick's death.

Cayden: So if you was buddy buddy with Fury, you know damn well that's not true at all.

Pierce: Why do you think we're talking?

Pierce then stands up and started talking to us that he believes to build a better world by destroying the old one and other stuff as I just looked at him but under my mask I have an confused look as if he is being crazy.

Pierce: Captain, you were the last one to see Nick alive. I don't think that's an accident. And I don't think you do, either. So I'm gonna ask again. Why was he there?

Steve: He told me, not to trust anyone.

Pierce: I wonder if that included himself.

Steve: I'm Sorry. Those were his last words, come on Spider-Man.

Cayden: Finally. *stands up*

We was about to leave until Pierce said these words.

Pierce: Captain, somebody murdered my friend and I'm gonna find out why. Anyone gets in my way, they're gonna regret it. Anyone.

Steve: Understood.

Cayden: Hmph.

Me and Steve then leaves the office and started walking down the hall.

Steve: I have a plan.

Cayden: Lay it on me.

Steve: I'm going to head down the elevator while you sneak your way to the garage and find my bike and wait for me. If any agents try to stop you take them down.

Cayden: Finally, I can beat some heads. See you there.

I then became invisible and jumps onto the ceiling and crawls away from Steve.
