Cayden's Pov

I was walking around as I saw my first class door which it was Honors Geometry funny enough give me the advance math class, I knocked on the door and the teacher told me I can enter in.

Mrs. Townley: Ah you must be the new kid. Please introduce yourself.

Cayden: *grumbles and looks at the class* Hey, I'm Cayden Dunlap. You can call me Cayden, Cay, Cade, or Dun I don't care at all.

Mrs. Townley: Hm, alright then. Well I already assigned your sit. Now Andreva can you please raise your hand.

I then sees and hand raised into the air as I just walked to where the hand was at and I saw a girl who gives me a smile as I just sat in the chair next to her.

Eva: Hiya I'm Andreva Holmes or you can call me Eva. *smiles more*

Cayden: ......Nice to meet you Eva.

Eva: So what's bring you to midtown Cayden?

Cayden: Just transfered here for a reason.

Eva: And what's that?

Cayden: An personal reason.

Eva: Oh...I'm sorry I won't push it until you're ready to tell.

I just looked at her surprised, to see some random girl being very nice to me as i just nodded and looked at the teacher as she was going by the lesson.

(After Class)

Class was over as I grabbed my things and walked outside towards my locker as I hear footsteps following me as I turned and sees Eva.

Cayden: Need something?

Eva: I wanna show you around the school as I looked at your class schedule and you got most of the same classes as me.

Cayden: *groans* Sure.

Eva: Alright follow me friend!

Cayden: Friend?

Eva: You seems like a good person so we're friends now! 

I looked at her as if she was mentally crazy or something as I just looked away and started walking as Eva follows.

(Hours Later...)

As school was going on Eva was showing me the school as I was just following her, not really caring about the school as someone bumped into me as I looked at him.

Cayden: Oi watch it.

???: No you watch it newbie before I break your face.

Cayden: *scoffs* Break my face? I wish to see you fucking try bitch.

I clenched my fist and was about to swing but Eva grabbed my arm and pulled me close to her.

Eva: Hehe....sorry about that Daniel, I was just giving the new student a tour of the school.

Daniel: Tsk, whatever. *walks off*

Cayden: *pulls my arm back* The hell was that for? I could of defended myself.

Eva: I don't want you to get in trouble on your first day that's all. I'm sorry...

I sees her experssion sadden as I started to feel bad for once; I just shook my head and waves it off.

Cayden: Look, you don't have to say sorry. I fucked up, so don't feel sorry for me got it.

Eva: If you say so. *smiles and hugs me*

Cayden: Ah, okay. No hugging. *I pulled her off of me*

Eva: Sorry about that.

Cayden: It's...whatever, let's just get this tour over with.

Eva: Right!

We went back on with the tour as Eva was showing e things and she sees two people walking and called out their names.

Eva: Xavier! Ashley!! *runs to them*

Cayden: Hm...

Xavier: Oh hey Eva, what's bring you here.

Ashley: *looks at me* Who's the guy?

Eva: Oh, this is the new student, Cayden Dunlap, he's my new friend. *smiles*

Xavier: Hm? Friend? He doesn't look friendly.

Cayden: You're not that good looking either but we can't be chooser of our faces now can we?

Ashley: And an smartass as best.

Cayden: You not looking good either reject punk.

Ashley: The hell you say to me? 

Cayden: You heard me.

I see Ashley tries to walk to me but Xavier stopped her as Eva placed an hand on my chest and looked at me.

Eva: Cade, please be nice to my friends. You're one of my friends now and I don't want to see my friends fight each other.

Cayden: We-*groans* Fine I'll try to be nice. Can't promise but I can fucking try.

Eva: Thanks. *looks at Ashely* Ashely?

Ashley: *rolls her eyes* I won't bash his face in.

Eva: Thank you.

(One hour later....)

After an hour I was in the gym sitting on the bleachers listening to music as I felt someone kicked my leg as it was my uncle who did it.

Marcus: Hey kiddo.

Cayden: *takes my headphones off* Sup, unc. What's up?

Marcus: I just want to know how your first day is going that's all.

Cayden: Eh, it's alright. Somehow made a new fucking friend my first day. Still confused on how I did it, she just said we're friends now.

Marcus: *blinks* Well that's something....What's her name?

Cayden: Andreva, but she wants to be called Eva,

Marcus: At least you made a friend on your first day. You're making more progress than your last school, where you didn't made a friend until like a month in the school.

Cayden: I had my reason unc. I wanted to be alone but you know how mom was like. 'You need to make some friends so you can socialize more.' That bullshit.

Marcus: She's right you know. You do need to be more social 

Cayden: Ugh not you too.

Marcus: I mean it, Cayden. Your mother doesn't want you to be all old and have no friends and no family members around you, and you'll be sad that you missed the opportunity of having friends.

Cayden: *pinch my nose and sigh* Alright I'll keep Eva and her friends as friends but that's it. Deal?

Marcus: *chuckles* I can work with that, kiddo.

The bell soon rang as Marcus look at me.

Marcus: That's the bell. I'll see you when I get home. Don't forget to pick up Kenny.

Cayden: I won't forget picking up the brat.

I gets up and side hugged Marcus before leaving the gym and walks towards my locker and saw Eva was there.

Cayden: Hm, your here. Why?

Eva: Well I wanna see if we can walk home since remember I told you I live in Harlem as well.

Cayden: Hm, forgot about that. We can if you want but I got to pick up my dumbass brat of a brother.

Eva: Oh? Alrighty.

I opened my locker and grabbed my bag and closed my locker as I walked away from it with Eva following me.

(Twenty minutes later...)

As I left school and walking with Eva who brought her other friends as we stopped at my brother's school as i see Kenny and grabbed him by the hood of his hoodie.

Cayden: Time to go brat.

Kenny: Jeez could of just called out my name.

Cayden: Whatever let's go.

I let go of his hood as he follows to as the other sees him.

Kenny: Who are these guys?

Eva: Hi, we're your older brother's friends.

Ashley: Don't know about the friends part.

Kenny: So you are his friend? Did he paid you guys?

Cayden: *smacks Kenny's on the back of his head* Shut the hell up.

Xavier: Woah.

Ashley: Damn you treat your brother like that?

Cayden: And? Got a problem with it? No. Than shut up. Eva, we're leaving let's go.

Eva: Right. *looks at Xavier and Ashley* I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Xavier: Yeah see ya.

Ashley: Be careful around him. *points at me*

I just flipped Ashley off and walks away as Kenny and Eva followed me. After couple of minutes we made it to me and Kenny's house as I look at Eva.

Cayden: I'll see you tomorrow.

Eva: *nods her head* Have a good rest of your day Cayden and you too. *looks at Kenny*

Kenny: Thanks.

Eva walks away as I grabbed my key and unlocked the door and let Kenny walk inside and I walked in and closed the door.
