Cayden's Pov

I stayed at the hospital to look after my mom and grandma after their run-in with the Goblin, and at this point if I wasn't worried about the people being caught in all of this he was worried now. Not only did Green Goblin know who Spider-Man was, he used my family to get to me. Eva stayed with me as she was worried about my mom and grandma, as Anthony and the brat was sleeping I was quiet looking at my mom and grandma sleeping as my mind begin to over thinks things as usual when bad things happens.

Cayden: Damnit.....damn it all.....

Eva: Hey, Cay cay.

Cayden: *snaps back to reality* Huh? Yeah Eva?

Eva: You alright you was mumbling.

Cayden: Oh, I'm fine....I was just overthinking things and so I mumble under my breath.

Eva: You need to stop doing that seriously.

Cayden: Hm...I'll try. You talked with the other fuckers?

Eva: I have and they feel sorry for you. And I'm worried about your mental health Cay.

Cayden: Huh? I'm mentally fine.

Eva: No you're not. You is a mess but not showing it and that's what worrying me out of our friend group as they let you be and I don't want to do that. You're uncle's death affected you as you get more pissed off than before. After time you gotten better but you is still holding that pain in, and now this happen and I know you is pissed at who did this to them.

I looked at Eva as she was right, I'm not mentally okay as I wasn't growing up and the aftermath of my uncle's death made me worst and now what Goblin did now have my anger through an new level. 

Cayden: ....You're right this have me over the rails but I'm holding it in for the sake of my ma and grandma. But I want to make that fucker pay....even if I kill him I don't care.

Eva: *holds my hand* Hey don't ever think of that! Killing won't help people nor help you be at ease. Don't be like the people who harms people. Please cayden, don't go to that route.

Cayden: ........*breathes in and out* I won't go that far. I'll think of a second chance, is that all okay with you?

Eva: Yeah that's fine by me.

Eva smiles at me as I have a small smile as I looked down as she was holding my hand for a long time as I take that she noticed and pulls her hand back.

Eva: S-sorry.

Cayden: Eh it's fine. *looks at the clock* It's getting late you should go back home. 

Eva: You sure?

Cayden: Yeah. I got my brother and the brat here to look after my ma and grandma.

Eva: *sighs* If you said so. See you later Cay Cay.

Cayden: See ya Eva.

Eva gave me an quick hug before leaving the room as I look at my mom and grandma as I let out an sigh.

(Three hours later)

I was now sleeping in the hospital after was trying to do some homework but as I was sleeping I hears Goblin's voice.

Green Goblin: Wake's up little spider.

I then jolts up as shakes my head as I see my grandma was awake.

Cayden: Granny. You okay?

May: I'm fine, you should take your brothers and go back home. You look awful. 

Cayden: We can't leave you and ma here.

May: But we're safe here.

Cayden: Want me to get you anything?

May: *sighs softly* You do too much. Highschool, helping around the house, controlling you're anger, and improving yourself. You're not Superman you know.

Cayden: I know. I'm human not an alien who's weakness is a green rock. *smiles*

May: Ah a smile. Haven't seen an smile since that Eva girl was here.

Cayden: How did-*realizes* I thought you was asleep.

May: I know you like the girl. I know you don't want to believe me but I know in my heart you do. I helped raised you, so I can tell when you like someone or not.

I scoffs a bit and looked away from my grandma as she was right I do like Eva but can't express the feelings to show it to her.

Cayden: You're right but you know how bad I am with expressing positive emotions and stuff.

May: Oh, I know but I can't help you with that it's your own battle within yourself that you need to do.

My mind soon thought of Goblin as he attacked my house knowing who I am and hurting my mom and grandma as  soon realized that he might go after Eva.

Cayden: I gotta make a call.

I quickly gets up and rushed out of the room and pulls out my phone and calls Eva but it went to voice mail.

Eva's Phone: This Eva. Sorry I couldn't call ya Leave a message and I get right back to ya!

Cayden: Damnit. Eva it's Cayden. Just calling to check up on you and to see if you made it to your house safely. Call me back when you can. *the call got answered* Eva?

Green Goblin: *cackles* Can the Spider-Man come out to play?

Cayden: *growls* Where is Eva?

Goblin then hangs up the phone as I clenched my fist as my worst nightmare came true as I runs back into the room.

Cayden: I have to go. Wake up Anthony or the brat to look after you.

May: Okay, bu-

I didn't let her finished as I rushed out of the room and out of the hospital and into an alley way and takes off me clothes as I had my suit under them as I get ready to deal with Goblin once and for all.

(Twenty one minutes later)

I was swinging around as I heard an explosion and swung towards it as I let go of the web and lands down as I was looking at the Queensboro Bridge and saw the smoke as I knew Green Goblin is here.

Cayden: Goblin you son of a bitch. Now How the fuck am I going to get there. I got no web wings. 

I then see flags poles and have an idea. I fired two webs at to poles as I started to pull myself back as far as I could.

Cayden: Maximum effort.

I then slingshot myself towards the bridge as I got into the bridge and started swinging around as I boosted myself up and landed in front of Goblin.

3rd Pov

As Cayden was looking at Goblin who had Eva in his left hand having her on the edge and cable to a cable car in his right hand.

Green Goblin: Spider-Man! This is why only fools are heroes. Because you never know when some lunatic will come along with a sadistic choice. 

He then looks at Eva.

Green Goblin: Let die the woman you love! Or....*turns his head to the left* Suffer the little children.

The children was yelling out for Cayden to save them as Giblin turns his head back to Cayden.

Green Goblin: Make your choice Spider-Man. And see how a hero is rewarded.

Cayden: Don't you fucking do it!

Green Goblin: We are who we choose to be. Now choose!

Green Goblin soon let go of Eva and the cable.

Cayden: NO!!!

Cayden then hears the screaming of Eva and the children as he then came up with an quick plan as he runs in Eva direction and jumps off and quickly catch her and webs swing to where the children was at and grabbed the cable and fired another web at the bridge as they all hang in the air. Goblin saw this and growls.

Cayden: *panting a bit* Okay that plan worked. *looks at Eva* You okay?

Eva: *nodded her head fast* Y-y-yeah.

Cayden: Alright that's good....Now need a now plan.

Soon an light came out of nowhere 

Captain: Ahoy up there! We're going to be the barge right under you!

Cayden: Well that's help.

Just then Green Goblin was on his glider and flies around laughing.

Eva: H-he's coming back!

Cayden: Listen! I need you to climb down.

Eva: A-are you sure?

Cayden: It's the only option just take it nice and slow got it?

The webbing that Cayden's was holding was started to break as that made everyone falls down a bit.

Cayden: Well get rid of the slow part but be careful. Trust me.

Eva nodded her head and started to climb down from Cayden to the cable as Goblin flies in and punched Cayden in the face making he move a bit thus moving the cable car. Goblin flies back in and uppercutted Cayden making him let go of the cable as he quickly recovers and grabbed onto the cable as Eva falls down a bit but caught herself on the cable car. The barge was getting close to under the cable car.

Cayden: Just almost there...Just hang on! *started to drop the cable car slowly*

Goblin started to fly back towards Cayden as he activated the glider's blade as Giblin got close to Cayden ready to impale him; Goblin was hit in the head by something giving Cayden the time to dodge. Goblin shakes his head and looks up to see the New Yorkers was throwing things at him.

New Yorker#1: Come on! Up here tough guy! I've got something for you! Leave Spider-Man alone! You got to pick on a guy trying save a bunch of kids?!

New Yorker#2: Oh yeah I got something for your ass! You messed with Spidey you messed with New York!

New Yorker#1: You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!

The people of New York started throwing things at Green Goblin to protect Cayden just like how he been doing so since he put the masked on. As that made an good distraction for Cayden to drop the cbale car on the barge.

Captain: Yeah!

Eva then drops down as the door to the car opens having everyone out as she looks up to see Goblin flying close to Cayden.

Eva: Spider-Man watch out!!

Goblin then wrapped Cayden in a wire and flies away from the bridge with Cayden as he want to get rid of Spider-Man for good.
