Why did I say that?!! It was such a cheesy pick up line! But, I guess I was just caught up in the moment, looking into her beautiful blue eyes. Anyway, I looked around the lab for a little while I was waiting for Wildfire's testing to be done. I looked at all the beakers on the shelves, and I accidentally knocked one over. It broke, so I swept it away with my foot. All the sudden, I felt my spider senses tingling all over, so I quickly went over and collected the completed testing on my flash drive and opened Wildfire's capsule. She looked up at me in confusion as she was slowly waking up.

"What are you doing!?!" She cried, still a bit drowsy.

"We have to get out of here!" I replied, not having any time to explain.

And with that, I swept her off her feet and put my arm around her waist, swinging off and away from the building.

"Where are we going?" She asked as I looked back to see the lab next to Avengers Tower explode.

"To my apartment," I replied, having no idea where else to take her.

We continued flying through the air in silence until we reached my apartment. I really hoped Aunt May wasn't home. I then opened the window and we snuck into my room.

"Hm, nice place," She said as she looked around my room.

"Thanks," I said, blushing a bit at her comment.

What's happening to me? Why do I keep blushing?

"Do you need to borrow some clothes before we go give this to Mr. Stark?" I asked, gesturing to the flash drive I held in hand.

"No," She replied. "This is fine."

I watched as she made the white dress she was wearing turn into a red and black uniform with a diamond in the middle. She also made the ends of her blonde hair red.

"Wow!" I gaped. "How did you do that?"
"It's one of my many powers, silly," She giggled.

"Well, don't look because I'm getting changed," I said.

"Believe me, I won't," She said and I swore that I caught her blushing.

After I got changed, we were about to head out when I asked. "So what else can you do?"

"Well, you'll find out soon, but I can tell you that I can fly," She said as she hovered off the ground.

"What?!" I cried. "You could have told me that earlier!"

"Now where's the fun in that?" She smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

When she pulled away we both blushed.

"So, do you want to be a thing?"

Then, she kissed me on the cheek again.

"I wouldn't have it any other way," She replied, shocking me.

Then, we went back to Avengers tower and told Mr. Stark what happened. I gave him the flash drive with the information on it.

"Where is Wildfire going to stay?" I asked.

The Avengers looked at each other.

"Well..." Tony said sheepishly. "While you where gone, we set up a room for Wildfire to stay in for a while."

"Really?!" Wildfire exclaimed, clearly excited about the arrangement.

"Yes," They all answered.

"Goodbye, Mr. Stark," I said, smiling at Wildfire's happy expression.

"Bye, kid," He replied, patting me on the back.

And with that, I was on my way home. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world to be dating Wildfire, even though we just met, I feel like I've known her forever. But one question I keep asking myself is, who attacked the lab?
