I followed Peter to the lab and decided to start a conversation with him.

"Are you an Avenger?" I asked.

"No, not technically," He answered. "Let's just say that I prefer to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-man."

"Peter, how did you get your powers?" I asked, curiosity getting the best of me.

"Well, it's kind of a long story so I'll tell you after your testing is complete."

"Okay," I replied, a smile taking over my face.

~The lab~

As we entered the lab, I looked around in awe.

"Wow!" I exclaimed.

"I know," Peter said with a knowing smile.

"This is so cool! The tech is so pretty!" I gushed.

"Yeah, you are," Peter exclaimed dreamily as he looked at me.

"What?"

"Nothing!" He replied and immediately started blushing.

"Ok....." I replied, confused by his flustered behavior.

"Anywayyyy," Peter said, trying to ignore what just happened. "All you have to do is get in this capsule, I'll close the lid and you won't feel a thing."

"Okay," I said taking a deep breath, preparing myself for what would happen.

Then, all I remembered was seeing Peter's face as he closed the lid of the capsule as I fell asleep.
