Arianna smiled when the ship pulled up to the docks of Corona but she noticed that there were no guards.

"Something's not right," Arianna said as she stepped onto the dock with Frederic.

"You're right," Frederic agreed.

"Oh no, everything is perfectly fine."

Arianna whipped her head around and saw Varian standing there. She gasped and Frederic pushed her behind him.

"How did you escape?! What have you done?!" Frederic glared at the alchemist.

"Oh, it was quite simple but I'll spare you the boring details. Now, where are Aquaria and Rapunzel?" He tossed a pink orb up and down in his hand as he leaned against some crates.

"They are somewhere you will never find them," Arianna stated firmly and Varian grinned.

"I'll find out eventually. You'll be able to tell me everything soon. Now, let's get you home," Varian said as he pushed himself off the crates with his foot and suddenly they two were grabbed.

"Take them to the dungeon. We'll question them there," Varian said to Andrew and Maisie who were holding the royals.

"Don't do this, Varian!" Arianna begged and Varian chuckled.

"I wish I didn't have to, your majesty, but Corona will pay for turning their backs on my father and I," Varian said and Frederic frowned.

"I knew that we should've kept Aquaria away from you," he murmured as Varian turned away.

Varian nearly froze as he thought about how happy he had been with Aquaria by his side. She was his partner, his girlfriend, his best friend in the entire world... or at least she was.

He acted like he hadn't heard what the king said and walked back to the palace with the others behind him.

"Aquaria is in Arendelle and Rapunzel is off on a journey to who knows where," Varian said to Andrew as they entered the new lab in the palace that Varian had put together.

"Well then, we wait for them to come back. We'll be ready for them when they return," Andrew said with a smirk. "Now that we have the king and queen under our control, they, along with the rest of the kingdom will obey us. If not, they will lose their precious parents."

"Good, now, did you get the gems I requested? I need them for my formula to synthesize the wands power," Varian said as he got back to work.

"Yes, and now that we will have the royals under our control, we will make the citizens of Corona gather the minerals for you," Andrew informed and Varian smirked before letting out a little laugh as he thought about their plan.

"This is gonna work flawlessly," Varian remarked as Andrew left the lab to let Varian work.

Aquaria hummed softly as she brushed Ruddiger's fur.

"Aqua! Hey! I brought more apples for Ruddiger!" Olaf skipped over with a wide smile and Aqua giggled.

"Thank you, Olaf," she said as Ruddiger quickly climbed all over Olaf before taking the two apples from him.

"Oh, you're so cute!" Olaf gushed as he pet Ruddiger while he ate the apples.

Kristoff walked in and smiled before saying, "princess, how are you holding up?"

"I'm okay, but please, don't call me princess. We're friends and I hate being formal with friends," Aqua said and Kristoff hummed.

"Can I call you Squirt?" He remembered Eugene calling her that after the chaotic coronation events.

Aquaria hummed and smiled as she nodded. "I wouldn't mind. Normally Eugene and Cass call me that."

"It definitely suits you," he said as he put a hand on her shoulder.

Aqua laughed a little before she looked back at Ruddiger and Olaf.

"I went to see Grand Pabbie last night and he said that he would like to see you," Kristoff said to which Aquaria hummed.

"I will go and see him now then," Aquaria said as she put her hands on the couch, pushing herself up.

Ruddiger ran from Olaf and scampered up Aquaria, perching himself on her shoulders.

"I'll be back," Aquaria said before walking out of the room. She ran straight to the stables and mounted Luna, one of the horses.

She took off to go to the Valley of the Living Rock. Ruddiger held onto her and buried himself under her thick hair.

Once they were there, Aquaria jumped off the horse.

"Grand Pabbie?" She looked around at the rocks and Ruddiger popped out of her hair with a strange look. He shrieked when the boulders started to pop into little creatures.

"Aquaria! Oh! It is so good to see you again!" Bulda exclaimed and Aquaria gave a small smile.

Grand Pabbie rolled over and popped up. "Aquaria, it's great to see you once again."

"It's great to see you too!" Aquaria smiled as Ruddiger scaled down her back and went over to Pabbie, sniffing him. "Kristoff said that you wanted to see me."

"Yes, I have been looking more into the matter of the dark sea and Ahtohallan. There must be a reason the Nokk took you out of the enchanted forest. The spirits are very particular," Pabbie said.

"So there is reason I have my ability," she realized and Pabbie nodded. "But if I was born with my magic, what could I have done to earn my power?"

"It could've been something one of your parents did, but, there must be a reason. They wouldn't bestow this gift without purpose."

"I don't know my parents... I mean, my birth mother's name was Livli but I only know that because she signed the note... I have no idea who my birth father is..." Aquaria thought about what it would be like to meet her birth parents.

"Well, they are stuck in the forest. You may never meet your real parents," Pabbie said which made Aqua shake her head.

"They aren't my real parents. They are only my birth parents. I don't hold a grudge against them for sending me off but I can't call them my real parents. I have my real parents. My mom and dad raised me and they love me. They are my true parents," Aqua said quickly and Grand Pabbie hummed with a nod.

"I understand but-"

Grand Pabbie stopped when Ruddiger climbed on his head and peered down, putting his face in Pabbie's face.

"Ruddiger! Leave Grand Pabbie alone!" Aqua said, not being able to hold back a giggle.

Ruddiger looked up at her and jumped off of Pabbie's head. A few of the younger trolls ran over and started to play with Ruddiger, much to his enjoyment.

"Sorry, Grand Pabbie," Aqua apologized but Pabbie smiled.

"It is quite alright. As I was saying, I understand. I wanted you to come here though in hopes that maybe I could find more than I was able to all those years ago when we first met," Pabbie explained and Aqua looked at the ground with a sad smile.

She missed Iduna and Agnarr so much. Remembering that experience with the former Arendellian queen, one of her first memories with Iduna, made her happy but it also made her wish Iduna was still there.

"I will only do this if you want to though, Aquaria," Pabbie added.

"We can try," Aquaria consented and she sat down in front of Grand Pabbie.

Grand Pabbie walked up to her and put his hand on her forehead.

He tried to find anything else that could tell them about her birth parents and her abilities.

All the chatter among the trolls faded as Pabbie concentrated.

He only got what he had seen before, but he tried to dig deeper.

Aquaria tried to focus on her memories from her childhood, but all that came to her was memories of her and Varian playing at her birthday. Tears came to her eyes and she shook her head.

"I'm sorry, I can't..." Aqua looked down and Pabbie hummed softly.

"It is quite alright, Aquaria. I do not wish to push you," he said gently and Ruddiger quickly ran over when he saw that his friend was crying.

"Maybe we can try another time," Aquaria said quietly and Pabbie nodded.

"It is all up to you."

"Thank you, Grand Pabbie. I should get going. I will come visit soon," Aqua said and she gently picked Ruddiger up as she stood.

"You are always welcome here, Aquaria. Safe journeys," Pabbie said as Aqua got onto Luna's back.

"Goodbye!" She waved with a small smile before taking off, tears trickling down her cheeks.

"Why does it have to be so hard to get over him?" She cried softly as she rode back to the castle. "He doesn't miss me and he doesn't want to see me ever again... why can't I just accept that?"

Ruddiger whimpered slightly as he pet her cheeks gently to try and make her feel better.

Aquaria didn't want to accept it though. She didn't want to get over him. She wanted to be by his side again. That was her one wish.
