The Next Day - Elly's POV

"Oi, wake up, I want to sit down on the couch bitch." Hidan says to me and my eye twitches in annoyance.

"Go away you son of a bitch, can't you see I'm laying here?" I ask him.

"Yes, now move your fucking fat ass out of the way or I'm gonna fucking sit on you." Hidan says to me annoyed.

I just growl in annoyance and I sit up and huddle in the corner of the couch and I grab the remote before him and he growls in annoyance and takes it from me.

"Fuck you." Hidan says to me.

"Well, fucking great, how ahout, you go fuck yourself." I say and take the remote back.

"How about, I fuck you." Hidan says to me with a smirk.

"How about, fuck no." I say throwing the remote at his head and it hits him and he falls backwards. I get up and I head back to my room to see Konan asleep on top of Pain and I cover them with a blanket because, they're, nude.

I then grab a water bottle from my case and I dump it on Pain's face and he just continues sleeping.

I tap Konan and she doesn't budge or even respond.

I shrug and grab my Bible and I head outside and sit in the forest reading.

Hidan attacks me after a while and I dodge his scythe over and over again and I kick him in the gut and he flies back into the base.

I move spots and I sit in a tree with my chakra masked and I continue reading where I left off.

Later that day I walk back into my room to see neither Konan nor Pain there, so I decide to clean up their mess and I wash her stuff for her.

"Thanks." Konan says coming out of our bathroom a bit wobbly.

"Yeah, no problem." I say as I support her up and I sit her on her bed and I smirk and sit in front of her. "So, how long have you and Pain been doing that?" I ask her and she blushes.

"Not long." She says to me nervously.

"Good for you two, unfortunately, I can't get laid like that, seriously, your so lucky to have a man." I say and she giggles.

"There are a lot of guys in this organization." Konan says to me and I gag.

"And none of them are in my interest box." I say to her and she laughs lightly at my words. "There's my interest box, the brother box, the idiot box and then the nonexistent people box, the brother box has Deidara and Itachi, the idiot box has Kisame and Hidan, the nonexistent box has everyone else since they barley talk to me. The interest box is empty, always has been, always will be." I say to her and she just laughs.

"So, you haven't dated anyone?" Konan asks me.

"Eh, I would say haven't, I've skipped around with guys before in Iwa, you know, just to fill the gap inside for a while before I move on to another, I never stayed with the same guy for more than a week." I say and Konan nods.

"Were any of them cute?" Konan asks me.

"Yeah, all of them, I dated the narcissistic guys since they wouldn't care if I move on or not." I say and Konan nods.

"Did you sleep with any of them?" Konan asks me and I look at her.

"Yes, I did, and I don't regret it either." I say and she smiles.

"Its nice to have girl talks like this." Konan says to me and I nod.

"Yeah, I've never really had any friends that were girls, all the ones in Iwa were too stuck up for me." I say and she nods in agreement.

"Me either." Konan says to me.

We talk for a while and I help her fix her area of the room up and I clean the rest of the room while she reads one of the book I gave her to read.

"Hey! Woman! Make me food!" Hidan yells outside our door.

I switch the vacuum to the hose and I open the door and I put the vacuum hose up to his head and I start sucking on his hair.

"Fucking Bitch!" Hidan yells at me and I cut his head off and I stake it to the wall in front of his door and I stake his body up next to it.

I walk back to my room and I finish vacuuming and I clean my area up and I lay on my bed.

"I want a dog." I say and Konan smiles amused at my randomness. "I think I'm gonna get a dog." I say and Konan nods.

"Go ask Pain first." She says to me.

"Already wasn't but fine." I say and I walk to his office and he looks at me.

"What is it?" Pain asks me.

"Can I get a dog?" I ask him bluntly.

"No." Pain says to me.

"Can I get a dog? If you don't let me I'm gonna tell everyone in the base what you did to Konan last night." I say and he freezes.

"Fine, just don't say a word." Pain says to me and I grin.

"Yay!" I say excitedly and I walk out of the room and I head to back to mine and Konan's room and she looks at me.

"Well?" She asks me.

"He said yes, the second time." I say and she raises an eyebrow. "I just had to persuade him to say yes, that's all." I say and she nods.

I grab my blue wallet and I head to the door. "I'll be back Konan." I say and she nods.

I head to a pet store in town when I see Naruto and Jiraiya down the street.

Shit.

I duck in the pet store and I look around until I see a brown puppy with white paws, well not a puppy, it looks about a year old.

I walk over to it and store lady walks over to me.

"You like her?" She asks me.

"Yeah, she's beautiful." I say to her.

"Would you like her?" She asks me.

"Yeah, I came here to get a dog anyways." I say and the dog licks my face.

"Well, her name is Cocoa." The lady says to me and I nod and fill out the papers and I get handed a leash and a bag of dog food and two bowls.

I attach the leash to Cocoa's collar and I take her outside and I still see Naruto and Jiraiya nearby.

I seal the dog food and bowls in a scroll and I put it in my pouch and me and Cocoa run through the streets and after a while of running and me making sure no one is following us, we get to the base and I take her to my room where Konan is waiting with Pain.

"Wow, she's so cute." Konan says to me as Cocoa lays down on my bed.

Pain just eyes me for a moment.

Konan walks over to Cocoa and pets her head.

"Her name is Cocoa, the store lady already had a name for her, she's a sweet heart, she loves attention." I say and Konan nods.

I unseal her bowls and food and I fill a bowl up with water and the other with food.

Cocoa jumps off my bed and starts drinking her water while Pain just watches.

Me and Konan talk about her while Pain zones off.

After a while Pain leaves the room with Konan and I shower and get changed into my normal attire.

I lay on my bed and Cocoa jumps up next to me and she lays across my stomach.

"Your such a good girl." I say and she lays there content as I pet her head.

A Month Later

"I'm in the base, alone, no one is around but Cocoa who's sleeping." I say as I walk around the base and it feels very empty and quiet and thunder crashes outside and I freeze.

I bolt back to my room and Cocoa looks up as I hide under my blankets.

I hide under my bed with the blanket around me as I hide, terrified.

A while later I hear yelling in the base, but its muffled by the storm.

I cover my ears and Cocoa goes to whoever else is in the base.

I shut my eyes as I lay there, huddled up, not wanting anyone to see me, but wanting someone to find me at the same time.

"Oi, bitch, your dog is dragging me into your room." Hidan says annoyed.

I just press farther back not answering him.

I feel a thud and then eyes on me.

"No way." Hidan says shocked and I open my eyes to look at him, scared. "Your fucking afraid of storms." Hidan says to me.

"I swear, if you tell anyone." I say quietly but thunder rumbkes the sky close by and I shut my eyes tightly, my whole body shaking.

Hidan looks at me and sighs. "This isn't fucking right, the mighty Elly isn't supposed to be scared of a fucking storm." Hidan says and I press as far back as I can as he tries reaching for me and after a minute he grabs my wrist and pulls me out and thunder goes off even louder and take my wrist back urgently and I cover my ears. "The sound won't go away if you do that." Hidan says to me and pulls me into his chest and I escape him and I hide in my closet.

"Don't touch me!" I say terrified.

"What the fucking hell is wrong with you bitch?" Hidan asks me and I go to answer, but thunder goes off again and I cry silently as I cover my ears with my eyes screwed shut.

After a couple minute Hidan growls and opens the door just as lightning goes off and he scares me and I nearly shriek, but I dash out of my room and past Kakuzu and he grabs my arm.

"Where are you going?" He asks me.

"Don't touch me!" I say taking my arm back and I run out of the base into the storm and Cocoa follows me.

She whimpers as we run and we nearly get punched by a woman, instead she punches the ground and it cracks and me and Cocoa fall.

"Cocoa." I say and she attempts to get up and the woman looks at me to see I'm terrified. I move the rock off Cocoa's paw and she limps on it as she gets up and I breath heavily trying to contain myself as I focus on trying to heal her paw.

"Hey, are you ok?" The woman asks me attempting to touch me but I flinch away.

"Don't, touch me." I say and Cocoa stands on the paw that I was healing, just fine and she nuzzles my face, attempting to comfort me.

"Who are you?" The woman asks me and I look at her to see its Tsunade.

I nearly tear up until Thunder crashes and I run with Cocoa keeping up.

"Damn it, wait up." Tsunade says to me and she grabs my shoulder.

"Don't touch me, please, damn it don't touch me." I say and Cocoa sits in front of me worried.

"Who are you?" Tsunade asks me.

She gets caught in a Gen-Jutsu and Itachi appears beside me worried and he attempts to touch me, but I back away.

"Storms must really scare her Itachi." Kisame says to him.

"Yeah." Itachi says and Cocoa whines at them and I get caught in a Gen-Jutsu and I fall, knocked out.

"Itachi, what happened to her?" I hear Konan ask after a while.

"I don't know, the storm must have freaked her." Itachi says to her.

"Scared of a storm, I never thought that she'd have that fear." Pain says to the two.

I hide under my blanket embarrassed.

"And she's awake." Konan says to them and she bends down in front of my bed. "You ok?" She asks me.

"No, I'm embarrassed that a storm freaked me out that much, it hasn't done it to that extent in a while." I mutter quietly.

"Its ok." Konan says to me and Cocoa paws my shoulder area comfortingly.

"I'm never leaving this room." I say and Pain and Itachi chuckle amused and leave.

Konan helps me up and looks at me as I sit back down. "Where did your fear originate?" Konan asks me.

"When I was a kid, after I ran from the Leaf, I got caught in a thunderstorm and I was wandering around the battlefield of dead ninja, it terrified the hell out of me and it created that trauma that I've dealt with on my own for years. I was grabbed by a ninja I thought was dead, and lightning flashed through the sky at the same time illuminating his face, it was horrifying, after that, I could never be touched during a storm and I'd always freak out if someone did." I say and Konan nods.

"So that's what's fucking wrong with you." Hidan says as the door comes down with Kakuzu, Pain, and Itachi behind him and they all land on the ground.

"Trauma is trauma Hidan, she went through it and its hard to overcome." Pain says to him.

I grab Hidan and he thinks he knows what's coming next, instead I just set him down and he looks at me shocked. "Look, I'm sorry if you guys got offended when I said don't touch me, I can't help my thought process during a storm and its the reason why so many people get scared off, but, if you think you can go and spread it around, I'm gonna kill each and every one of you." I say and everyone nods.

"Well, you can't be outcasted here, we're all outcasts." Konan says to me and I go to object, but its true, so I don't say anything.

"Yeah, alright." I say and I push everyone of the room with Konans help and we put our door back up. "Well, being an outcast isn't so bad, it just makes sure I'm not like everyone else, otherwise, I'd be, I shudder to say it, normal." I say and me and Konan laugh.
