Faith and Julian live two totally different lives but with help from each other maybe things will change for the best. For as long as Julian can remember his highly Christian family have had a severe case of homophobia. Which is strangely ironic since Julian is everyone's favorite GBFF at Livingston High. But he's okay with their obvious ignorance because that means he's free to do what he wants when he wants as long as it's with a special female decoy. Though that doesn't mean he isn't ready to tell his parents but who knows what consequences that may have.

Faith on the other hand has a different problem. In her world skinny was perfect and curvy was becoming acceptable but once you exceeded that (meaning any size above a 2x) your just a reject. At Xcel Academy she's been considered a reject since the end of sixth grade. Everyone's afraid to be within a mile of you in fear of catching the reject plague. Once you're marked you can forget about a social life unless you plan on losing 30 pounds over night but that still didn't guarantee popularity - just a lot of questions. Unfortunately this lack of social life has caused her family to mark her as well but this was a different type of mark. She'd been marked as the possible lesbian in the family. Who knew that being so fat you can't get a boyfriend would make your family suddenly think you had flipped the script?

So it was a no brainer when Faith and Julian's paths crossed as they looked for dates to satisfy their parents that they would choose each other. A friendship like no other filled with secrets and plans to improve the others life. And just as proms of the past have proven these proms will change their lives. The question is will prom end like a lifetime movie or worse, much worse?
