When you're stressed what do you do? Get a drink and hit the clubs. Chill with friends. Smoke a joint. All good options but for me a relaxing deluxe pedicure was all I needed. Becoming a radiologist was all Kris ever wanted to be after she lost her grandmother to cancer the year of her high school graduation. All roads where heading that way too if she could pass that damn organic chemistry final in a few weeks. Balancing school and her on campus job at the Apple store made Kris feel like a prisoner. So a me day was definitely in order on her one off day for the week.

Unfortunately it wasn't starting as great as she had hoped with her favorite pedicurist out for the day and no time to come by later. There was no choice but to settle for the next available person. Tall and lanky unlike any of the other Asian men in the salon, Jason Lee more than made up for her favorite's absences with the certain flare he gave as if making a stellar performance. One conversation with him was like a thousand with a long time best friend. Though she had to set him straight a few times on the possibly questionable comments he made to his coworkers in a language she didn't understand.

There's definitely a spark between the two but could she really have a thing for a person who made a living off rubbing other people's feet when her own goals were so much higher. When one thing leads to another Kris learns there may be more to him than it appears but does she dare take the time to find out when her focus should be on finals?
