Randhir had been busy whole day and now he was sitting in his office at his home and checking more documents. It has been a busy month for him and his employees as some of the foreign delegates had visited them and showed there interest in having a joint venture with them and he didn't want to loose such a great opportunity.

He was finishing up the last file which was the final draft of the project when he his laptop pinged with a notification telling him that he has received an e-mail. He looked at the clock which stated 11.00 pm as time. All of the important mails had been already recieved by him and it was really unusual of him to recieve any work mails at this hour. Getting confused he opened the mail to see it was from his business partner and girlfriend Sanyukta Agarwal.

She had been angry with him these few days because he couldn't give her time with all the work piling on. Though she was an understanding person but he had missed there four years anniversary and since then all he has got was a cold shoulder and glares. Sighing he opened up the mail from her which had a subject "The Agreement". The subject was really odd as it didn't gave him the details relating to the client nor clarified any other related details. What got him more confused was that currently there wasn't a single project they were working on together so there were really no agreements that were awaited.

Not thinking much he opened and saw the contents of the e-mail. It said :

It's time to make fair agreements and stick to them. Be sure to understand the terms of it clearly before you sign them.

Okay this seemed more like a warning rather than a clause or detail about the agreement. This was getting weirder for him. It was unlike Sanyukta to write something like this. He scrolled down to see a PDF attached at the end. He clicked it to load while took out his mobile to call Sanyukta. The bell ringed but she didn't pick up. A dreadful feeling was setting in his heart and as soon as the file got downloaded he clicked it open. The file read :

The Agreement

This business agreement is executed between

Sanyukta Agarwal
And
Randhir Singh Shekhawat

Whereas the owner of Sanyukta's heart Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat has been quite busy and has no time for his lover. Therefore, Ms. Sanyukta Agarwal has put forward the aforesaid clauses which if accepted by Randhir Singh Shekhawat would make them bound to each other for life otherwise would lead to a wrath being casted on him and will also lead to end of every relation between them. The clauses are as follows:

1. We will be equals in this relationship no one would be considered as a superior. We both will have an equal say.

2. You will be forever be mine like you are now and in return I will be yours.

3. There will be only my right on you and everything that's yours and same goes for you.

4. Our relationship will never change no matter what the circumstances are whether better or worse.

5. Any dispute that arise between us, we will talk about it and try to resolve it as peacefully as we can.

6. There might be times when I am wrong and yet you would have to accept the defeat and apologise for the same.

7. You agree to share your whole life, your surname, your house and every little thing you have with me and in return i agree to share my whole life and make you the centre of my world.

8. Promise me that no matter what, you will share your pain with me like you do your happiness no matter how small or huge are they.

This agreement is non-terminable which means if you accept it you will never be able to part from me. We will stay forever together for better or for worse with our souls entwined for the years to come forward.

Randhir couldn't believe that Sanyukta had went forward and drafted such an agreement. He didn't know whether to smile at her silliness or feel loved that she was telling him to be together with him forever while he still couldn't get the guts to ask her same. He took the print out of the love agreement which he thought it to be and signed it happily. Keeping all the other files at a side he thought for sometime and made calls and arrangements before retiring to bed and sleeping with a smile on his face.

Next day Sanyukta reached office at 9.00 am and walked straight into her office. She couldn't sleep the whole night as she was worried for most part of it. In the rush of adrenaline she had sent him the mail and then had realised how stupid it was. That was the reason she hadn't picked up the call when he had called her.

He had been busy for the past whole month and she knew the deal was important for there company but she had to go and get annoyed for his lack of attention and that annoyance made her make such an agreement.

All she planned today was to being cooped in her office today or just find some reason to go on one of the site visit and not return for the day. Determined she walked in the cabin only to stop in her tracks. Every part of the room was filled with flowers and chocolates. She walked inside to keep her things on the desk where she saw a note. It said :

"This thing they talk about called forever I want to do that with you, will you give me the chance to do the same.

-The owner of your heart - Randhir"

Sanyukta smiled and turned only to find Randhir on his knees with a file in his hand. She tentatively took the file and opened it to see the same agreement she had drafted but now it was signed by him.

"I have signed my part of the agreement and i didn't had to think twice, now it's your turn. Do you accept to be mine forever?" Randhir said.

"I can't believe you actually even considered that stupid agreement and even signed it" Sanyukta said with a shaky voice and tinge of tears in his eyes.

"This wasn't stupid. It was cute and the best kind of proposal one could have given to a workaholic like me. I am sorry that these days i couldn't give you time but i promise in the future that we will have together it would always you before the world. Now would please sign that love agreement." Randhir said lovingly making her blush.

"Love Agreement?" Sanyukta asked confusingly.

"Yes!! That's what it is. The agreement to our love that would never terminate or diminish and stay forever with us." He said making her smile.

Shaking her head Sanyukta signed the agreement and gave it to him. Smiling Randhir pulled her towards him and kissed her to which she smiled and responded with same eagerness. Thereby sealing "The Agreement" with a kiss and walking towards there forever.
