"I still prefer the other dress. This one makes you look fat."

"Well sorry! I'm the maid of honor, I'm supposed to tell you the truth." I shrugged.

"Now that I look at it, you're right. This does make me look fat." Lily chuckled and went to take off the dress.

"I still don't know why we couldn't go shopping in Diagon Alley. The muggles here are staring at us." Marlene mumbled.

"That's probably because Jade had to drag a screaming Sirius and James out of the store." Lily reminded us laughing and walked out with the first dress she put on. "This is it. This is the dress I'm getting married in."

"Fifteen dresses and two screaming Marauders later and we finally have it!" Dorcas yelled excitedly.

"You look gorgeous, Lils. What do you say I divorce Sirius and the two of us get married?" I smirked.

"Sounds like a plan, Jade."

"We're back!" Marlene and I yelled walking into my house.

"Why is Lily on your back?" James asked.

"Because we're excited, James. That's all." Lily jumped down and kissed him. "Jade is still mad at you. You do know that right?"

"You're maid of honor, Didi. What else could you want!?"

"Geez let me think." I rolled my eyes and whacked him in the head. "Maybe I wanted to see my brother propose to the love of his life. Yeah, I think that's it."

"You were doing Order things." James sassed.

"You couldn't wait three more days? Seriously James, you're dense as hell."

"You called?" Sirius smirked walking down the stairs and kissed me.

"I'm fifth wheeling and I don't like it." Marlene chuckled.

"You want a kiss too, Marls?" I smirked and started to chase her around the house.

"Get the hell away from me, Jade Black!"

"You love me Marlene!"

"More tattoos!? Are you serious, Vixen!?" Remus scolded me.

"That's Sirius." I pointed to my husband who waved and continued to play with the twins. "I'm Jade."

"I fucking hate you, Vixen."

"THE CHILDREN!" James yelled and covered Sirius' ears. "By the way, where's Wormy? Wasn't he going to help us babysit?"

"You mean Sirius and I babysitting while you two and Lily raid my fridge." I rolled my eyes. "And Wormtail's on an Order mission with Marlene, remember?."

"They're supposed to be coming back in a few days, James." Lily butted in and placed some snacks on the table.

"Why are we babysitting again?" Sirius asked and winced when Fred got a fistful of his hair.

"Molly and Arthur deserve some time away from the boys and I love my nephews." I shrugged and sat on the floor next to Sirius.

"Well I'm in the mood for cake. Bill, Charlie and Percy, wanna help?" Lily offered standing up. The three boys cheered and ran to the kitchen. "Wish me luck!"

"Good luck!" James and I said in unison.

"I'll go help and make sure that Bill doesn't hit Percy with an egg again." Remus laughed and left with Lily.

We all laughed at this. James pulled out his wand and started to make sparks fly to try and entertain the twins who were fussing again.

"I would like to have a kid." James mumbled shrugging.

"You what!? I always thought that you didn't want kids!" I said surprised.

"Not at first, but now I kinda want one once I get married. Lily and I have been searching for houses here too, so we can be close to both of you." James smiled at me and I hugged him tight. "There's one like four houses down and we've been thinking about getting that one."

"Do it!" Sirius and I said in unison.

"By the way sunshine, how many tattoos do you have?" Sirius asked looking at my arm.

"I dunno, like five or six. Why?"

"Muggle right?" I nodded. "I've been thinking about getting one soon."

"Really!? Lily and I could take you. She was the one who chose the last ones and she's better with the muggle currency than I am." I said excitedly. "Where do you think of getting it?"

"I dunno yet. Help me choose?" Sirius shrugged.

"Sure!" I smiled and put my hair up since George decided to pull it.

"MORE PIERCINGS!?" James yelled.

"Yes Prongs. More piercings." I rolled my eyes.

"Merlin's beard my sister has turned into a badass in front of my very eyes."

"Today is a good day!"

"Sirius got a tattoo and another piercing and Jade has food." Lily yelled and we heard the boys running towards us.

"Let me see!" James yelled and pushed Remus to the ground.

"Rude!"

"Sorry Moony, but priorities!" Sirius rolled his eyes and lifted his shirt revealing the tattoo on his ribcage. "A fox?"

"A Vixen." Sirius corrected and smiled. "And it's in the same position as the constellation."

"It was hilarious when everyone saw these two dressed in all black and wearing leather and me wearing this jumper." Lily laughed and sat on the sofa. "I stood out like a sore thumb and Jade was holding her laughter the entire time."

"You should've seen Pad's face when the artist pulled out the tattoo gun. He's not afraid of getting hexed into oblivion but he's terrified of a tattoo gun." I said taking off my jacket and sat down next to Lily.

"And you weren't scared the first time you got tattooed?"

"Nope. I was jittery but I wasn't scared. Though the one on my ribcage hurt like a bitch and I had to stay still for like six hours." I shrugged.

"Six hours!?" James yelled and I nodded.

"Yep and the owner was confused as hell when I said I wanted a rat, a wolf-dog, a wolf and a stag as my next tattoo. He understood the rest, but he couldn't wrap his head around as to why I wanted a rat." I yawned and laid my head on Lily's lap and she immediately started to play with my hair.

"When do you leave, Little Vixen?" Remus asked me.

"Next month I leave for a mission by Hogwarts which means I'm staying at the shack or something like that. After that, Alice, you and I go Merlin knows where to find another Deatheater base. They're like roaches, they're fucking everywhere." I rolled my eyes.

"Can you-"

"Yes Pads, I'll watch over Reg as best as I can." As soon as I said that an owl appeared by the window. "Speak of the devil himself."

I stood up and grabbed the letter and gestured for the owl to rest on my shoulder as I walked to the kitchen with the boys and Lily following suit.

"Well, what does it say?" Lily urged and handed me some toast to feed the owl. I opened the letter and read it out loud.

"Dear friend,

Hope you are fine given the circumstances. I am not doing so well. Things are tense where I am. I'm sorry to inform you that the plant is dying and the insects are becoming relentless. I fear that maybe one day I can't save it again. I hope the family is okay and safe. Especially your significant other and those closest to you.

I must advise you to always trust your judgment and nobody else's. That being said, don't come to visit alone. The neighbor has been screaming again and keeping me up at night.

"Why codes?" Remus asked.

"Owls are being intercepted again. Reg sometimes tells me what's going on at school but he doesn't write much." I shrugged. "Prongs, hand me some parchment, my quill and some ink please."

"You're writing back?" Sirius asked and I nodded.

"I always do. Especially now that I know that the bald rat is asking for more violence." James handed me the parchment and quill and I started to write.

"My dearest friend,

I'm so sorry to hear that the plant is dying again. Remember to water it and make sure it gets plenty of sunlight.

The family is okay given the circumstances. Currently we are out of work which is rare these days but we're trying to enjoy every moment. The black lion says hello and wants me to tell you that the plant dies only if you let it die.

I will listen to your advice only if you listen to mine. Don't let it die, my friend. No matter what, don't let the plant die.

I handed the letter to the owl and opened the kitchen window. The owl left and I sighed sitting back down.

"Care to explain the letter?" Sirius asked concerned.

"School is tense, the bald rat is asking for more violence and hope is dying. Reg doesn't want me to go near school alone since there are probably Deatheaters walking around again." I shrugged and leaned back. "He can't say much since he's probably intercepting the owls. The letters are for me to know that he's alive and not in the inner circle."

"He's not right?" Lily asked and I shook my head. "Thank Merlin. He's a nice kid."

"And a momma's boy." Sirius shrugged and I hit his arm glaring at him. "Sorry."

"We've talked about this various times, Sirius. I'm not having another argument about this." I crossed my arms and he immediately backed down.

"Sorry sunshine."

"What are you doing on the roof again, my sunshine?"

"Looking at the stars, contemplating life, and trying to remember the constellations." I shrugged and pulled the blanket closer to me.

"Wanna talk about it?" Sirius asked and sat down next to me. I shrugged again and wrapped the blanket around him. "You wanna forget?"

"I dunno. I just feel like screaming until my throat is raw." I mumbled and leaned on his shoulder.

"I can help with that." I laughed and hit his arm.

"Not helping, Pads." Sirius laughed and kissed my forehead.

"Sorry, sunshine. But are you sure you don't want to talk about it?" I shook my head and he sighed. "Okay then. Want me to show you the constellations again?"

"Please? You know I barely paid attention to Sinistra. I was more focused on trying to not fall asleep or to not let the map fall from my pocket." I chuckled and moved to sit on his lap.

"I will never understand how the hell you got full marks at O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S." Sirius chuckled and leaned back.

"It's probably because I had the best tutor in all of Hogwarts." I smirked.

"And yet you don't remember a single constellations."

"I do too!" I protested and turned to face him.

"Oh yeah? Name three constellations right now and I'll believe you." I groaned and that made Sirius laugh. "It's not that hard sunshine."

"Says the man who's named after a damn star." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm hearing a lot of whining and not a lot my sunshine naming constellations." Sirius taunted smirking.

"Fine! That one is Draco because it's fucking huge, I call that one the Moony constellation because he's the king of fucking coincidences, and that's it because stars confuse me sometimes."

"Two out of three, I'm impressed sunshine. The one next to Lupus is Ara, I think. The trick to finding constellations is to find a bright star and just start tracing until you get a shape." Sirius shrugged and pulled me closer to him. "But you did great."

"Thanks, love." I yawned.

"Let's get you to bed. It's cold and my ass fell asleep." Sirius said and I laughed. "Don't laugh, this is serious."

"It's serious, Sirius? That's rich." I smirked and stood up.

"Fuck you, Vixen." Sirius chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"As you wish, Padfoot."
