(This chapter was initially going to be centered around Leo, and a bit of trauma from his aunt grooming him, but I have been watching gatcha life music videos for the song no friends which I put here and it gave me the great idea to make a chapter where Y/N ends up making two friends, but a quick little explanation for the unknown character in this, koichi is a Hato {dove} and Tyler's half sister, she lost one leg in a car accident and now wears a prosthetic. Tyler is extremely over protective of her for this reason, and sadly due to this over protective nature koichi ends up falling for toxic people such as the school's play boy [but that's a chapter for another day, or a whole new story on teaching this girl how to recognize when someone is toxic!] other than that enjoy the chapter)

Y/n sat on the roof looking at an old photo from when she was a child, she did have four friends back then but they all grew apart. "Man, I miss you guys. What happened between us?" She asked her self, placing the picture back in her pocket. Y/n sighed before putting her headphones in and playing a song, beginning to hum along to the tune. Before she knew it, the bell rang, spooking the ga Chō hybrid. Y/N quickly got up and quickly flew to the door, need to have someone open it in her face. "Gaahh!" She said before falling out of the air and onto her back in front of the door. Y/N quickly stood up and ran past the kids that open the door and down the stairs, trying to get to her class on time.

While she was running she accidentally bumped into someone " sorry I'm late for class!" He said as she got up, helping the other student get it up as she ran to her class at TopSpeed. As soon as y/n reached her class, she burst through the door, resulting in the class looking at her in confusion. "Y-" "I'MSORRYI'MLATEMRS.DRAGONFLAME!!" "Y/N.... Your not late... you just startled the class..." "oh....sorry Mrs..." Y/N said, heading over to her seat and sitting next to a human with A light chocolate brown skin tone and Caramell hair. "Hi, I'm y/n, what's your name?" Y/n asked. "Leave the new girl alone freak!" One of y/n's classmates said. "My names Cali" the human said with a neutral expression on her face. Suddenly, y/n Felt her chair being pulled out from behind her, causing her to fall over. "Umm, teacher, one of the students sitting behind y/n pulled her chair out!" Cali said, holding a bit more of a devilish expression that was hidden by a neutral expression on her face.

The teacher sighed " Jeffrey, how many times have I told you to stop pulling peoples chairs! And did conifer give you that idea? From now on U2 are going to be separated and Jeffrey is going to be sitting in front of the class. in the meantime both of you are being written up." The teacher said as they two jerks protested to no avail. As y/n stood up, she noticed Cali's hair unwrapping from her chair. " sorry I did that to you, had to get those two dumbasses to shut up" Cali whispered to her. Before y/n could ask about the hair the teacher handed out a pop quiz.

(After class)

As y/n and Cali were leaving class, y/n ask Cali about her hair "oh, it's more confusing then what you think... I really don't know how to explain it." Cali said, looking a little embarrassed that someone noticed her hair. Suddenly the two heard arguing down the hall. Cali looked in the direction to see a dove and harpy arguing. "YOU NEED TO STOP BLURTING SHIT OUT WITH OUT THINKING!!" "WELL MAYBE IF YOU ACTUALLY LET ME HAVE A FRIEND I WOULDN'T DO THAT SHIT BRO! YOU'VE BEEN SCARING OFF POTENTIAL FRIENDS AND IM TIRED OF IT!! AND REMEMBER WHAT YOU DID TO MY FIRST CRUSH THE MOMENT I TOLD YOU ABOUT HIM?! YOU CAUSED HIM TO ENDUP IN REHAB!! I HATE YOU!!!" "IM JUST TRYING TO PROTECT YOU" "YOUR PROTECTION IS THE PROBLEM!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVEN CARED ABOUT YOU!!" The dove shouted before flying off, the harpy running after her.

"Hey Tyler!! Just give your sister some space right now! You never let her have time to herself from what I've seen in school, so you might want to give her a bit of time." Y/n said, causing the harpy to turn around "YOU THINK YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO?!" " no Tyler, I am recommending you do something that would keep your sister from wanting to tear your guts out, because she obviously seems to hate you at the moment. Just let her cool off for once" y/n said, unintentionally angering the harpy. "WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW?! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE PARENTS!!" "WELL AT LEAST I DON'T TELL PEOPLE TO HANG THEMSELVES!!" Y/n snapped back, tears running down her face. " i'm gonna assume your name is Tyler, I'd recommend you leave her alone before I break one of your wings." Cali said in an eerily calm manner " how would a human do that?!" Tyler scoffed before feeling his wing being slammed into a locker by Cali. " like that you're dumb harpy." Cali said, opening the locker to release the now injured wing. "H-how did you-" he managed say before the pain really kicked in, prompting him to head to the nurse

Y/n was looking at Cali in disbelief. " how did you do that?!" She asked in shock. " I thought everyone know how to quickly defuse a situation like that." Cali responded before heading to her locker. Y/n wanted to check on the dove though, so she ran after her.
