Becky
It's been a week since we had Seth, tonight is our first night home. I haven't heard Seth cry all night, I think it's best I check on him he'll be due a feed too. I walked down the hall and into his nursery, I saw Colby sitting there holding him to his bare chest.

"Hey."

"Did he wake you?"

"Was just coming to feed him."

"Oh okay."

He yawned before standing up from the rocking chair.

"Have you been here all night?"

"Every time I've gone to leave Seth started crying, so I've just stayed with him."

He placed Seth in my arms and luckily he didn't start crying.

"Think he's afraid to be alone."

"Will you bring a sleeping bag from our bedroom, I'll stay with him tonight."

"Are you sure your up to it?"

"Yes, I'm gonna be laying on the floor sleeping, Sure I'll be fine."

He walked away and I took off my top, I placed him onto my chest and he latched on. I wrapped his favourite blanket around us,  I just rocked back and for.

"Here."

He placed the sleeping bag and a pillow on the ground.

"He's still so small."

"The more I feed him the bigger he will get."

"You're doing an amazing job, he adores you."

"Colby, don't go."

"I wasn't going to."

"Please don't leave me ever again."

"Hey what's brought this on?"

Tears were flowing down my face as he walked over to me.

"Becks look at me, I'm not going anywhere. You've got me and Seth always, I'll never leave you."

"Please don't go."

"I'm not, I love you both so much. I'm never gonna leave."

"Stay with me tonight?"

"Of course, I'm just going to get a sleeping bag."

I don't know what just came over me, I guess it's just a combination of exhaustion and sadness. He came back with a sleeping bag and put it on the floor alongside mine.

"I'm never gonna leave ever again, if something happens we deal with it together."

"Together."

He kissed the top of my head and took Seth off me to burp him and put him to bed.

Colby
"Becks you mean the world to me, I'm not gonna leave you again."

She nodded her head and laid on the floor alongside me, I pulled her close to me so she could snuggle into my side. I moved some of the hair out of her face.

"I'm sorry for getting upset."

"Don't be, it's okay."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I woke up the next morning with a bad back, I made my way downstairs and saw my wife asleep with my baby on the couch. I scooped Seth into my arms and bounced him lightly, I noticed Becky start to stir so I sat down alongside her.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Morning, oh god how long was I sleeping down her for?"

"When did you come down?"

"5ish?"

"It's almost 6 now so not too long. Why did you come down here?"

"Was going to pump some milk for Seth, guess I fell asleep."

"Yeah guess you did."

"Sorry."

"It's fine, do you want some breakfast?"

"I'm really not hungry, you make yourself something though. I'll feed Seth again."

"Alright, just let me know if you change your mind."

I kissed her before making my way to the kitchen and making myself some toast.

*1 year later*

Becky
Joe just his papers signed, he's out of hospital now. He's not sick anymore, I'm so happy for him and Ashley. We're going out for a meal to celebrate, I'm not exactly looking forward to it. I've been feeling awful for the last week or so, I haven't told Colby but I think it's just a bug or something that Seth has picked up. I get dressed into some jeans and a nice blouse, I see Colby and feel underdressed. I quickly change into a tight fitting dress when I notice I have a little bump, I start to put everything together in my head. I've been feeling sick, I've been put off some of my favourite foods and I can't even remember the last time I've had my period. Fuck, I think I might be pregnant. I take the dress off and change back into the clothes I was originally going to wear.

"You alright babe, you're looking a little sickly."

"Just got a headache that's all. You look snazzy."

"Do you think it's too much?"

"No I think you look very handsome, let's go."

Today is my first time leaving Seth, he's staying with Holly tonight. I'm nervous which just makes me feel so much worse, we arrive outside the steakhouse and the smell of meat is already turning my stomach. I wasn't like this with Seth if anything I wanted to eat everything. We make our way over to the table and sit with Ashley and Joe.

"Becks you feeling alright?"

"Yeah I'm just worried about Seth and I've got a headache."

"He'll be fine. I was so nervous when I left the twins for the first time, now look at me."

They started talking about foods they wanted to eat and it just made me feel even more sick.

"Becks what do you want?"

"I haven't looked, give me a minute."

I look through the food and just decide on getting a steak salad. Luckily nobody questioned why I don't want much food, it's around half an hour before the food arrives. When they put it down it makes me feel atrocious, I grabbed my napkin and placed it over my mouth.

"I'm sorry."

I ran off to the bathroom where I was sick, I threw up the contents of my stomach. I felt a little better afterwards, I opened the door and saw Ashley standing outside.

"I'm fine."

"Didn't sound like it. What's up?"

I shook my head and just started to wash my hands.

"Becky tell me."

I dried my hands and turned back to her.

"I can't, can you get me Colby."

"Okay, I'll be back now."

I was sick again but eventually Colby came in.

"What's the matter?"

I lifted my top and showed Colby my tiny bump.

"Your pregnant?"

"I think so."

"Do you want to go and get a test?"

"I'll go you can stay with Joe, I won't take it till your home."

"You sure?"

"Yeah I need to see my little baby."

"Okay, text me if you need anything."

"Your mother will be there."

"But still."

I smiled at him before leaving. I drove to the little petrol station and walked inside, I saw Nina behind the desk and went to go and grab a pregnancy test from the back.

"Becks! Wait your pregnant?"

"I think I am."

I bought the test and drove home, I shocked Holly that I was home early I asked her to stay because I feel so sick, she stayed with me until Colby got home.

"I'll be off then, goodnight."

Once she was gone it was time, I walked upstairs with Colby and we took the test. Those two minutes were the most nerve wrecking, the timer finally went off so I flipped over the test and the screen flashed Pregnant 8+ Weeks

"Becks you really are pregnant!"

"Here we go again I guess."
