Colby
Becky is screaming so loud, begging for me to somehow make the pain go away. I wish I could, I wish I could stop her from hurting but I can't.

"Colby I think I see the head. How far away are we?"

"2 minutes."

"Go up to the speed limit and you'll make it in one."

She grabbed onto the car door as the next contraction happened, I drove a little faster but I heard a little cry. I pulled into the lay-by and looked across at Becky who had our little baby on her lap.

"Colby it's a boy."

She was shaking as she held him.

"He's so tiny..."

"But so loud."

She smiled down at him and my heart fluttered, they both look so perfect.

"Do you want me to drive?"

"Yeah we need to get him checked out."

I didn't want to take my eyes of either of them but I had to, I pulled out and drove to the hospital. Becky sent me inside while she sat there waiting with him.

"Can I help you sir?"

"Yes my wife just gave birth on the way here."

"Oh, I'll call up to the maternity ward. Can she walk?"

"I don't think so, she says it hurts a lot."

"Okay Wait there."

She called upstairs and not long after some midwifes came down, I took them over to Becky who now had our little boy resting on her chest.

"Right hello Becky, how are you feeling?"

"Great, really great."

"I'm just gonna cut the umbilical cord now so we can get you both all cleaned up."

They started to clean our little baby and Becky, they then asked me to lift her into the wheelchair so they could take her upstairs.

"He's so perfect Colby."

"I know, must get it from his mother."

I wheeled her chair upstairs and into the maternity ward, they put him in the incubator just because he was born early and is too small. I can see Becky is hurting because all she wants to do is hold him but she can't.

"So what are we gonna name our little pancake?"

"Seth."

"Seth Knox Lopez."

She smiled up at me and I kissed her forehead, she put her hand inside the incubator and spoke gently.

"Hello Seth, Welcome little one."

*30 minutes later*

Becky
I heard her before I saw her, I looked out of the window's in the door and saw my mother arguing with a midwife. I slowly waddled over to the door and opened it.

"She's with me."

The midwife smiled and let my mother past.

"Honey you shouldn't be standing!"

"It was either that or you would've been dragged out of here by hospital security."

I made my way back over to the chair and she came in slowly.

"So?"

"Well he had a strange entrance, but he's here now."

"He?"

"Yeah I had a baby boy."

"He's so precious darling."

"I know, we've named him Seth Knox Lopez."

"Seth?"

"Do you not like it?"

"No, I love it. Surely you should still be in the delivery room?"

"I gave birth in the car."

"Oh, So he did have a strange entrance."

"That's what I said, how did you even get over here so fast?"

"Got the first flight over, I needed to see both my babies."

"Well I'm glad you're here mum, I've missed you."

"I was gong to surprise you next week but this little one had other plans."

"Guess he finally wanted to meet me and Colby."

"Speaking Of Colby where is he?"

"He left to get the hospital bag from the car and to get some coffee. Which he's not allowed on the ward with."

"Glad you're working things out, you are right?"

"Yeah, I felt like such a school girl when we kissed earlier. I couldn't stop thinking about it, think this one was jealous that my every thought wasn't about him."

"Probably, gets it from his mother."

"Rude."

"I love you."

"Only sometimes."

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding, course I love you Mum."

I heard a knock on the door and looked up seeing Ashley and Joe standing outside.

"Let them in will you, can't move."

"Sure."

They walked in and had smiles on their faces.

"She's so tiny, but still so cute."

"Thanks Ash."

"Did you make it to the hospital?"

I looked up and Joe and shook my head.

"This one wanted to be born on the road."

"I only just about made it to the hospital when I had the twins."

"Soooo what's the name?"

"Seth Knox Lopez."

"It's a boy, oh I'm so sorry."

"It's okay Ash. Pull up a chair and take a seat."

They did and we all started to talk, after half an hour Colby finally returned with my hospital bag.

Colby
"Hey bro congratulations this one is precious."

I looked and saw Joe, Ashley and Annette sitting around the incubator.

"Thanks man."

"So I heard this one was born in the car, guessing its ruined?"

"Yep but it's fine, we've got another car."

"Thought you'd be pissed."

"Nah I've hated that car since Becky bought it."

"It's really nice!"

"If you say so."

We all started to talk about random things and they all eventually left one by one until it was just me, Becky and Seth left.

"Becks?"

"Hm?"

"You look tired, do want me to help the nurses set up a bed?"

"Yes please, I'm exhausted."

I went out into the corridor and spoke to some nurses, they set up a bed next to the incubator so we could stay with our little one.

"Thank you."

"It's alright, you rest well now."

Becky slumped into the bed and I crawled in next to her.

"My bump is still so big don't you think."

"No, you look amazing."

"You're just saying that because you love me."

"Maybe."

"I know we have only just made up but I'm so tired, can we cuddle?"

"Do you even have to ask?"

She cuddled into my side resting her head in the crook of my neck, I didn't take long until I heard Becky's breathing slow. Showing to me that she was now sleeping, I looked across at Seth before falling into a deep sleep.

Ashley
"Joe can we talk?"

"Hm sure."

"I don't know if I'm ready for more kids."

"What?"

"Can we stop trying just until you're better?"

"You might already be pregnant..."

"I know but can we stop. I want to be able to look after you, you need me now more than ever and I don't want to not be able to help."

"If you are pregnant what do you want to do?"

"Keep it, but I just want to be able to focus on you."

"I'm feeling better recently, the treatments are making me feel something other then drained."

"The kids are confused and upset because they don't understand. So I want to be able to help them through it while also looking after you and I don't know if I can't do that if I'm also pregnant."

"I get it, I'm sorry you have to stop trying because of me."

"It's not your fault. We've got five kids and in 6 months we might be ready to try again."

"Yeah maybe, I love you Ash."

"I love you even more Anoa'i."

He pulled me down into a hug and I snuggled into his side, I didn't take long before Amber and Leah joined us.

"You two really need to learn to sleep in your own beds."

"But we love mummy and daddy."

"I know baby but mummy and daddy need sleep too."

"Move up then."

I threw my hands up in defeat and let my kids wriggle into bed with us, I kissed them both goodnight before they both eventually fell asleep.

"You're a great Mum."

"And you're a great dad."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Shhh I'm trying to sweep."

I turned off the lamp and eventually drifted off to sleep.
