Review on Beneath the surface

Iyanuoluwa Temi’s “Beneath the Surface” is one novel I would love to see on the big screen. The development of the main character, Zaria Coker, was amazing and positive. I loved that it didn’t follow the “regular” saintly growth of Wattpad characters. While there were a few grammatical errors, the writer displayed a good command of the English Language. The writing style was unique and in just five chapters, I found myself rooting for Zaria. The cover art was perfect, a beautiful rose that had “flaws” that no one noticed. This is definitely a book I would purchase if it ever got published. -Madelaine Akinyemi
