Tolani.

Tolani came in 3rd. Mostly because it's something we see everyday. What made it stand out is mostly the fact that the girl is being maltreated by her deranged biological mother. You don't see that everyday now do you? A child being mistreated by her own biological mother is something anyone would want to look into. I used the word deranged to describe the mother cos I believe, the woman is psychologically unstable, not everyone would be strong to hear their husband had died from a fire accident in your home and not a bone of his was recovered.
There was just one loose end, but I don't think most people would notice it. I hope the writer will be able to continue at the pace they are going through. It's a book you'd never be able predict what would happen in the next minute.
Overall it was awarded a total score of 91.
