A Day Full Of Meetings Of Slytherin Proportions...
POV: Draco. The Ministry Of Magic.
Tonight was the party for our girls to celebrate with their friends and fellow classmates at Hogwarts for their upcoming final seventh year.
Hermione planned a beautiful party that would ensure our girls happiness.
Luxia had been rather mopey these last few weeks. Phoenix tried to keep her occupied by taking a trip into Diagon Alley for the retrieval of their supplies for school. However, the poor dear still was unsatisfied. Luxia was heartbroken by that degenerative piece of garbage, I loathed too much to even say his name. What he did to her was inexcusable. He would not be getting away with it. I had developed several plans to help our daughter find her liveliness once again.
First, was the removal of this secret Wizardry society. That James Potter and his little minuscule friends were organizing. It was ending with a few acknowledges of reasonable old "friends," aka my old mate and old family friend Scabior.
Hermione did not know my affiliation with Scabior was still in play. Nor did she know he was even living. And finally, that he was helping me to put an to end James Potter. I plan on keeping it this way, thank you very much. So to you, who is reading our story, I find it wise to keep your trap shut... unless you'd like a visit from the old Snatcher.
Scabior was very willing to help me put an end to this new Wizarding club. And also offered me some extremely useful information. After I had explained the recent events occurring in our world with Luxia...
Hermione and I had been discussing the incestual relationship between James and Rose Weasley. How oddly disturbing this was.
I expressed my thoughts with Scabior on this particular subject. He began to grow a great big creepy arrogant smile across his face. So I questioned his thoughts that day in my office at the ministry for our inquiries...
"What are you going on about Scabior?" I asked returning the same sinister grin.
"James and Rose's relationship is not incestuous my friend." Scabior began to spill his secrets. With me listening on the edge of my seat.
"You see mate... Rose, is my daughter." Scabior darkly revealed as I nearly spit out my fire whiskey we both were enjoying.
"WHAT?!" I coughed and barked with loud echoing of glee in jovial gossip on the Weasley/Potter clan.
"Lavender and I had an affair while she was engaged to Mr. Ronald Weasley." Scabior darkly explained with a hint of hurt in his tone.
"She was just an easy shag on an a occasional whim for me. Then I regrettably began to have feelings for her." He paused taking a drink of his whiskey. Then continued.
"Lavender became pregnant with Rose. I know Rose is my daughter because I went with Lavender to St. Mungo's to prove it from the witchwife. And luck so be it, she was mine." Scabior sighed leaning back in his chair.
"I honestly thought Lavender would leave Weasel. But inevitably... she was too afraid to have a life with me. So she told the ginger git that she was pregnant with his child. They married that same weekend. I never saw Lavender again." Scabior sadly concluded his own heartbreak. Reminding me of Hermione and I's similar tale of affairs and love. My stomach began to turn knowing what Scabior felt. If Hermione would have chosen to stay with that ginger I would have killed myself.
"Does Weasel know you're the father now?" I picked his brain for more information. Scabior gestured his head yes and spoke again. "The family knows. It's a deep secret between both the Potter's and the Weasley's."
"Mate, I am beyond sorry for your loss." I tried to give my sympathies, but Scabior interrupted me with laughing changing the subject. I knew he was not wanting to discuss his pain any longer. He was not that sort of wizard. And honestly... I didn't blame him.
"So what are we going to do with the little wannabe buggers?!" Scabior slammed the rest of his fire whiskey down his gob and stood with excitement, ready for some danger. I recited the plan...
"Their next meeting is tonight before the girls party. I've been invading their meetings of questionable acts of a new age wizardry group, through Legilimency. It's a joke honestly..." I began to chuckle and roll my eyes at their ideas of dark new magic. Taking a glimpse at my own dark mark, with my sleeve rolled up, of the Death Eater I once was. Giving me chills of my past. The things I did, I had to do to... still haunt me. I've never told Hermione everything I did. I didn't want to relive it... and I was soon returning to the present to continue our discussion.
"They just want to be mighty and powerful to score with witches. An industry of prostitution and gambling. Nothing of actual Wizarding world domination. Their ignorance is quite comical... Until, my daughter is involved... then we have a problem." I ominously boasted with rage.
"The organization is repulsive and they will do whatever means necessary to succeed." I paused getting out of my chair behind the desk to stand before Scabior.
"I want you to terrify them. Begging for mercy until they are completely weak and vulnerable. Then finish the job, with obliviation."
"This shit ends tonight." I boldly concluded. With Scabior asking one simple question before our meeting was over.
"How far do you want the obliviation spell to wipe clean of their memories?" He asked with a devilish smirk I was all too familiar with.
"Enough to make sure their dark magic deeds have ridden from their souls. However, James Potter. I want you to completely rid him of all memories of my daughter, along with his revolting behavior of inner dominance of witches."
"Alright, mate! It'll be done before midnight tonight." Scabior expressed as I shook his hand in gratitude.
He disapparated from my office just as soon as my next appointment was knocking on my door.
"Come in! Come in!" I hollered with excitement to seeing this old family friend coming through the entrance of my office. James McAvoy. Who happened to be the new potions Professor at Hogwarts. James also was a distant cousin of Professor Severus Snape's.
"Good to see you mate! Come in have a seat! Would you care for a fire whiskey?" I asked him as he smiled offering his no's through words and shaking of his head. We sat down on my black leather sofa, where Hermione and I had many a sexual rendezvous's on, to I explain why I asked him to meet me here today.
"James, I know you probably are not going to be too keen on this idea. But my wife and I have discussed this matter and we would be much appreciative if you would consider our offer." I paused to see his reaction as he replied. "Of course, Draco. You've been family friends of mine for years. Anything you need." So I took my chance to spring Hermione and I's plan.
"Tonight at our gathering... as to which you are attending, yes?" I questioned him as he nodded yes with a soft smile.
"We'd like for you to ask our daughter Luxia for a dance." I revealed as James' face scrunched in disapproval.
"I'm her professor and Head of her house, Draco. That would not be appropriate." His tone was full of annoyance.
"Listen, we're not asking you to marry her! It's just a simple dance. Luxia has been through a lot these past few years, as you well know." We both rolled our eyes in disapproval in remembrance.
"She needs some happiness in her life..." I was then interrupted by James. "Well, she should dance with one of the boys her age.
"We agree. But James, Luxia needs a man of your maturity, wisdom, morals, and protective nature. You're only eight years older than her. You would be good for her. Tonight is just a stepping stone. To get her into her thought process to remove that Potter from her brain."
"Maybe some sparks will occur between the two of you. Nevertheless, we think you two could help each other overcome your heartaches. Even if it nothing happens but a meer friendship." I softly smiled ending my statement.
James' heartache was the sudden death of his wife last summer. Hermione and I knew we just had to help Luxia and James. Hermione wanted a friendly relationship between the two. I wanted James to fall for Luxia. It was another inner secret of mine. I trusted James. He was a Slytherin after all and no matter how much I fought my prejudices... I wanted my daughters to be with noble men. Phoenix was with Jagger, as to which I was happy about. He was a good boy, Neville and Luna raised him well.
I was just exceedingly worried for Luxia. Her choice in men to date was beyond disturbing. I knew James was a perfect match for her. Hermione will warm up to the idea of them dating eventually. Hopefully... if all parties are willing.
James responded to my proposal.
"I'll dance with Luxia tonight, Draco. For you and Hermione only. That's all that will become of this. I am her professor as I expressed earlier... our platonic relationship will continue as such of a student and teacher." He stood to leave. I read his mind standing...
Luxia is a beautiful witch...
"Stop invading my mind Malfoy!" James bellowed in aggravation and a small laugh. Outwardly reminding me of Professor Snape and I's interactions. Snape was always the older brother I never had. James was his relative ultimately and brought a warmth to my heart, making me feel as if Snape were still with us.
We shook hands as friends. "We'll see you tonight Professor." I smiled with intentions swirling in my brain. James smirked and nodded once. Disapparating from my office.
I was overwhelmed with joy in my cunning Slytherin schemes. All coming to a scene of success for my family. I would do anything for them. Hermione and our girls our my world. I will do whatever means necessary to protect them and give them utter happiness. Regardless of my interactions of discernible dark deeds.
What Hermione doesn't know will not hurt her...
