Ace found a hill that's pretty cleared out, and it's near a lake. He summoned 2 beds and placed the 2 demigods on them.

"Alright, now I just need to send the location to Jayce." Ace muttered, as he just launched a heart rocket to the sky.

After a few hours, Xavier opened his eyes.

"...I was affected by your charm this whole time." Xavier looked at Ace with deadly eyes.

"Oh goodness, son of Hades, please don't kill me." Ace sweat dropped, "I only did what mother told me to do."

"Next time, you're dead." Xavier's eyes glowed red then turned dead again.

Looks like I won't be flirting with him. Ace thought, I might get my head off.

Xavier looked beside him and saw pale Clara, soon just plopped back onto his bed, getting more sleep.

Ace just started to tend Clara, giving her some nectar.

Looks like I'm going to be medic number 2 for this team. Ace thought, as he slowly gave nectar to Clara.

"Looks like you're taking care of them just fine." Jayce said, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh, hello Jayce." Ace casually greeted, "We might need one of your inventions, if you know what I mean."

"Guys, hurry up! Our friends seem like they're dying." Vito nudged.

"Oh, don't you mean Athena's daughter?" Ace smiled kindly.

"Shut up or I'll cut your fricking neck off." Vito threatened, clearly annoyed.

"Okay guys, don't fight now." Jayce sighed, as he placed down a box and pushed the button that was on the box.

A huge tent unfolded, and everyone went inside. Ace summoned more beds to put the demigods in, as Jayce did some research. Meanwhile Vito was just stroking Ritha's head softly. Jeanett and Ritha were tucked into their own beds, as Clara soon woke up.

"Have you guys been taking care of us?" Clara rubbed her eyes.

"Yeah, Ace took care of you the most." Jayce didn't take his eyes off his in process invention.

"Who's Ace?" Clara tilted her head, clearly confused.

Ace tapped Clara's shoulder from behind her. Clara turned, and Ace was only inches from her face.

"Hi there Clara!" Ace smiled, "Glad you're okay now."

Clara yelped quietly, "wait where's Aphrodite's son?"

"Clara, that was just my disguise. This is the real me." Ace assured.

"Are you sure that you didn't eat him?" Clara looked at Ace with a suspicious look.

"Why is it so hard to take in?" Ace grabbed Clara's chin, "I was pretty sure you could take me in easily, sweetheart."

"Oh goodness gracious." Clara backed off, "Okay, okay. I believe you. But dear goodness, don't flirt with me."

"Because you say so, I won't." Ace pouted.

"Thanks!" Clara smiled warmly.

Ace blushed, Wait. Is this an adverse effect?? What is this?

"Alright. Ace, you need to tell Clara and the others later of why everyone's been cringey." Jayce said, "Don't say no, you have to confess what you did even if Aphrodite told you to do so."

"Okay.. okay." Ace sighed in guilt.

"What did he do exactly?" Clara squinted.

"I have been affecting everyone with romance since the time I almost choked Athena's daughter to death." Ace confessed.

"So you're the one giving us the emotional roller coaster ride?" Clara flinched.

"..Yes. Aphrodite told me to do so." Ace looked away, "I'm really sorry.. please don't hate me."

Clara took a deep breath, then breathed out. Paused for 5 seconds, and said,

"I don't want to get mad at you, I am not going to become a child and get mad at you because of an order the love goddess made herself."

"Thank you." Ace sighed in relief

"But I'm still a tad mad because I felt like I was living in a drama." Clara said in a monotone.

"I apologize." Ace fiddled his fingers.

"Alright, it's okay." Clara managed to calm down, "But let's just not get into romance right now, the world is at stake."

"But.. I'm the son of Aphrodite!"

"Just do what you do, bro." Clara patted Ace's back, "Just please do romance at the right time."

"Okay." Ace held his chin.

Clara just went to Xavier, "Dude I know you're awake, wake up."

"No." Xavier said shortly, rolling to the other side of the bed.

"Goodness, you're actually lazy." Clara sighed.

"No, I'm exhausted from shadow travelling everyone as far as 50 kilometers." Xavier continued.

"I defeated 2 Cyclopes in 10 minutes, thank you very much." Clara reminded.

"Just give me rest." Xavier sighed.

"Okay, okay." Clara gave up and went to Jeanett.

"Sun, you conscious yet?" Clara poked Jeanett's arm multiple times.

"Clara, I'm exhausted.. I just separated a Nephalem from a demigod." Jeanett sounded tired.

"Alright, rest some more." Clara left and went to Ritha.

"Rith, you awake?" Clara asked, "I would like to see you and talk to you without cringing a lot."

"Give me 2 hours." Ritha hugged her pillow.

"Alright." Clara exhaled, "But I have to tell you later about why everyone acted cringey lately."

"It's because of Ace who was on my skin, the people around me were affected as well. So I wasn't myself for a few moments before." Ritha explained, "It all started when Ace, as known as the invisible figure, tried to kill me, but that was just a way for him to get onto my skin."

"You're not even conscious at that time!" Clara looked incredibly confused, "How- WHAT?"

"Don't underestimate the daughter of Athena." Ritha said shortly.

"Oh geez, now you accept your smartness?" Clara face palmed.

Ritha didn't respond any more than that, so Clara decided to go to the lake near the hill. A quick swim with the fishes, she said.

3 hours later, Jeanett, Ritha, and Xavier were finally wide awake. Clara walked into the tent, took a stretch and sat down.

"Does anyone have food?" Clara asked, "I'm starving."

"Got tofu." Xavier said shortly.

"I don't." Ace shook his head.

"Medical stuff." Jeanett shrugged.

"Tofu, you say, Xavier?" Jayce immediately turned his head towards his friend.

"Yeah, why?" Xavier replied.

"Give me 'em." Jayce did a hair flip, "Don't underestimate Chef Jayce's skill."

Jayce started to cook tofu, and somehow he got some spices and herbs.

"Whoa, this smells nice!" Clara's eyes sparkled.

"Most likely." Ritha smirked.

Portions of tofu were given to each one of the demigods.

Clara took a bite and savored it slowly, "THIS IS AMAZING! Jayce, you're an amazing cook!"

"Why thank you." Jayce's nose started to float away.

"I agree." Ritha said, as she was chewing some tofu.

"This is a restaurant-level like dish." Jeanett complimented.

"Oh yeah, Vito and Jeanett doesn't know why our lives has been a drama lately." Jayce reminded.

"I'm going to have a mental breakdown after this." Ace frowned.

Apparently, Ritha explained everything. Jeanett was fine about it, but Vito was something else.

"You fricking bastard." Vito looked at Ace with deadly eyes.

"Uh.." Ace sweated.

"You hurt my friends, I hurt you." Vito said, in a demonic kind of way.

"Aww." Clara smiled, "Vito's standing up for us!"

"SHUT UP, WATER GIRL!" Vito looked at Clara and blushed.

"Vito is being a tsundere~" Clara teased Vito some more, "I'm sure you're not such a jerk."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Vito asked annoyingly.

"A jerk." Clara smiled darkly.

"OHO THAT'S IT!" Vito chased after Clara as she ran.

"Catch me if you can!" Clara stuck her tongue out.

"This is amusing to see." Ritha said as she ate her tofu.

"Yeah, quite the show." Jeanett agreed as she did the same.
