Prologue

Magnus's POV

His eyes shot open. "How... where am I?" He groaned. He felt as if all his bones were broken. As if he fell from the sky. He had that feeling when you fall asleep late at night and then wake up early in the morning. The wind howled for a while until he finally decided to get to his feet and stand on the grass that he woke up on. He stretched and scanned his surroundings. He was next to a tree, and the grass seemed to go on for ever and ever in every direction. "Hello?!" He shouted at his highest voice. But it just echoed and echoed and echoed into the sky. He was in a place where no one lived; a place with nothingness that goes on forever. The sun was at its highest point in the sky. A book then appeared in front of him. It had a leather cover that was dyed mahogany. In the middle was an Omega symbol made of gold. As the wind whipped through the air, the book opened. The pages flipped, and the sun started to sink. As the pages flipped faster and faster, the moon rose and sunk faster and faster until the sun rose and sunk even faster. "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?" He yelled even louder than before. But his voice kept echoing and echoing across the nothingness of the never-ending grassy plains. If you looked up at the sky at that time, it would make you dizzy. It was like Magnus was fast-forwarding into time. The book finally ended, and the sun went back to its original spot. And then he blacked out.
He woke up to see himself somewhere else. This time, he immediately got up and searched his surroundings. In front of him was a boulder, and surrounding him in a circle were rocks. As if someone had made it. "Whoever is doing this, it's not funny." He muttered under his breath. "Actually, it is funny." Someone standing on the boulder replied. His voice echoed weirdly, kinda like Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls. Magnus looked up to see someone that looked exactly like him, except their hair colors were different. This stranger had gray hair. Magnus had yellow hair. But he seemed like he knew this person. "We'll see about that." Magnus answered. The person jumped down from the boulder, and Magnus flinched. He then started circling Magnus. "What are you doing...?" He asked, standing still. "I'm here..." he quickly pulled out a sword and impaled it into his chest "to kill you." Magnus yelled above his lungs. His shirt stained red from blood. He knew he was dying. The pain increased every millisecond. No, more like every nanosecond. He was soon on the verge of death. And then the last drop of blood fell onto the grass, staining it red. His eyes closed, and he fell into his eternal sleep. The stranger pulled the bloody sword out, and let the body of his victim drop onto the floor, silently leaving with a sinister smile on his face.
