We rushed over to the guard building and walked in. "Nimara, I'm here, what's wrong???" I asked, confused. "Where did you find this??" She asked turning to me. "We found it in a portal like thing outside of the village, why?" I asked. She cast a small spell on it, making a pale blue halo around it. She then placed it on the table. "It's an eye of ender....... They are only used to create End portals...... Which can only mean one thing...." She said, the air feeling much colder now. "It means that the Ender lord and his minions, the End Knights, are returning......" Jade said. "Or that the were never really gone in the first place...." Garrick added. "Is there any way we can prevent the portals from showing up?" I asked, hopeful for some good news. "No..... But there is a way to protect the village from having the portals come to close-" Nimara started but I cut her off. "What do I need to do?" She looked at me, her eyes wide. "Well, you need to get some winter marrie, some Slither rantiy, a Lilly flower.... And six pure sadness tears..." She said. I nodded. "Alright... Let's go." I said and me, Jade, and Garrick left to find the ingredients.

After 3 hours of looking, we had managed to gather everything aside from the six pure sadness tears. "Okay.... We have everything... But the tears..." I said, worriedly. Jade and Garrick sighed. "How are we supposed to find those?" Garrick asked. "I'm not sure..." I said. "Well I've never shed any tears of sadness after my village was destroyed..." I nodded. "We could.... Try and find someone sad..?" Garrick suggested. I nodded. "But how are we going to do that if we don't want to worry the village with the information of the portal..?" I asked, unsure. Jade shrugged. "Don't look at us, your the lord." She said, my heart sank at the thought of not being able to protect the village. "Don't remind me..... It's bad enough... That I... I might not be able to protect the village at this rate.." I said shakily. "Woah, calm down Cyrissa, we can get the tears some how!!" Garrick said trying to reassure me, but it wasn't helping... "Yeah, we'll find some way to get them!" Jade agreed, I shook my head violently. "No! No we won't!! Not unless the whole village were to find out, o-or the End knights invading.... Or worse!" I shouted sadness over ranking all of my other emotions. "Calm down Cyrissa! Getting upset won't help!" Garrick said. Jade nudged him and pointed out something to him. I didn't catch what she said but I didn't care either. All I wanted to do was cry, and cry, and not stop until everything was actually going to be okay. "Cyrissa? We can find the tears eventually! I know we can!" (Because their filled with determination!! *ahem* sorry continue...) Garrick said confidently. "Oh yeah..? And how long will that take... Days..? Weeks..? Mouths...? Years!?" I asked... I then began to cry, I couldn't help myself. I was scared and sad... But mostly sad, I hadn't been lord for two weeks yet and now the world was falling down all around me it seemed. That's when I felt a something cold touch my cheek. I opened my eyes to see Jade holding a small glass vile, with my tears in it. "Nope, it just took a few seconds to find them.." She said. I immediately stopped cry and wiped my cheeks. "Heh... H-how did you know I was going to cry..?" I asked her, as we slowly started heading back to the village. "Well I sure wasn't going to cry... It's like if Sapphire were to let the End Knights rule the world! It just doesn't happen." She said plainly. I giggled to myself. "You've got a point there..." We then all walked in silence.

After we got back to the village I handed Garrick all of the ingredients so he could take them to Nimara. While I did my rounds with Jade. We stopped to check out the construction the builders were doing and it looked great! I had brought them all some food for their brake and we headed around and finished the rounds.

When we got back to the house, I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched... I ignored it and went to bed. Oblivious to what was going to happen.
