Day 54
I awoke the next morning, everything was still in my room, not a sound. It disturbed me. Nonetheless I got up and walked downstairs in my nightgown that went down to my knees. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed some bread for breakfast. I began walking down into to basement with a bag full of gold nuggets. "Jason? Are you up?" I asked, as I hit the bottom step. I heard a yawn, then a groggy voice. "Yeah.... yeah I'm up. *yawn* What's up Cyrissa?" He asked walking over to the steps where I awaited him. "We're you up all night again Jason?" I asked, he nodded slightly. "Yeah, once I start something, I need to get it finished before I do anything else." He mumbled, and I sighed. "Well, I brought you your gold, and some bread." I said, he looked at the bread and happily accepted it eating it slowly while taking the bag of gold. "Thank you M'lady.... I have..... *yawn* your travel clothing finished." He said leading me into the basement where he handed me the clothing, with a smile. "I hope you like it." He mumbled, as I peered into the bag. "It's great Jason. Thank you." I said smiling, he smiled back. "I'm glad I could be a service M'lady." He said, his eyes beginning to droop shut. "You were, not go get some sleep Jason, you need it." I said, be nodded shuffling back to his bed, only to face plant dinghy into it, snoring almost immediately. I giggled quietly to myself, as I walked back upstairs to my room, getting dressed.
I soon walked out of my house, I had a few bags of diamonds in my own travel bag, one for me, one for Jade, for Donovan, Levin, and Darien, the same thing goes for the travel clothing, only there was an extra set of travel clothing for Garrick, once we found him and got him out of Ro'Hargrove. I sighed as I walked further down the trail. Soon enough Jade came up to me, she was dragging her sword on the ground, as of her arms were about to fall off. "Hey Jade! What happened with you?" I asked, she stopped and looked at me. "I was training Dino until my arms were numb." She said. "Oh, speaking of which how is he doing?" I asked. "He's doing fine. He can defend himself now, and he's beginning to be a bit over protective of the village now, so I'd say he'd be a great guard here. Why do you ask?" Jade inquired. "Because we're going to go and get Garrick back, he may be a thorn in the side some times. But he's one of our best guards and friends." I said, handing Jade her travel clothes. "Are you sure he's one of our, quote on quote 'best friends'?" She asked. "Jade! Yes I'm sure!" I said, playfully punching her on the shoulder. "Okay, so who else are we taking?" She asked pointing to the bag of clothing I held in my hands. "Well, we're going to need someone who knows the city like the back of their hand, so we need to bring Donovan. Then we need someone who knows how End Knights behave, aside from yourself, so we're gonna need to bring Darien..." I paused, and Jade nodded, she looked at me expectantly. "Anyone else?" She asked. "...Yes... Although it was a very reluctant choice." I said, squinting my eyes shut and pinching the bridge of my nose. "Oh no, you don't mean...." She began. "Yes I mean we're bringing Levin........ unfortunately, the only one here with even the slightest sense of tracking, is him.... so we have to bring him if we're going to get into the capital unnoticed." I muttered with slight irritation. "So that means Dino's going to be left in charge?" She asked, I nodded. "Yes.... which is why I asked." Jade nodded in understanding. "We should get everyone else ready I'll get Levin and Donovan, you get Darien please? Oh. And meet me in the town plaza, tell everyone I have an announcement to make on your way please?" I asked, she nodded. "Okay, will do, see you soon." And with that we split paths to get everyone.
Before I managed to find either of Donovan or Levin, I ran into Clyve, and yes I mean in the literal sense that I ran right into him. "Huh?" He said, turning to me. "Oh! I'm so sorry Clyve!" I said, he chuckled. "It's okay Cyrissa. Oh! I heard about your trip to find my brother..... I wanted to thank you." He said, bowing his head slightly. "It's not a problem Clyve. Anything for a friend right?" I asked, he looked at me as he raised his head, there was a spark of emotion and life in his eyes that seemed to ignite at my words. But when he blinked it disappeared. "Yes, indeed." He said looking away from me. "Clyve? If your worried about Garrick, I can understand." I said, even though I didn't absolutely know why. He looked back at me, and gave me a small smile. "If I were to worried I would have gone after him myself. But Garrick can handle himself." He said. "Well, just know if you need anybody to convey in, I'm here to talk to." I said, Clyve nodded as he began to walk away. "Oh, before you go, can I ask a favour of you?" I asked back to him, he paused and turned his head to me, looking at me. "Hmm?" "If any trouble arises in the village, please help Dion in anyway you can?" I asked, we stood there in silence, as Clyve seemed to study my figure, before he began to walk away again. "I'll see what I can do if the need ever arises." "Thank you." "Mhmm." And with that he walked out of my sight. But when I began walking on my way, I began to feel a pain in my head, before the world around me turn white.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Flash~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looking around there was nothing but a white and empty plain. I tried to call out to see if anyone could hear me, but no sound came from my mouth. But soon enough colours and shapes began forming into my view. And then I heard a voice calling out something.
"sapp......."
What...?
"sapphi......"
Who?
"sapphire...."
Sapphire?
"Sapphire...!"
Hello?
"SAPPHIRE! WAKE UP!"
With that my body jolted up, I tried to speak again but nothing came out. I looked up at the face in front of me, only to see that there were more than just one person there.
"Oh thank the Powerful Majicks! Sapphire we were all so worried." Said a girl, she looked like Jade, only, not. I was about to ask 'why'? But my actions and words were not my own. "Jasmine, Grether, Draymen, Drew? What happened? Where are the others?" Were the words that came out of my mouth. I then looked at the other people there and seen who looked like Garrick, Darien, and Donovan. The man named Drew, who looked like Donovan, spoke. "They are fighting back the last remaining End Knights." "And what of Asteral?" I spoke without actually speaking. "He has been banished to the End." Said the Garrick looking man. "What? But that wasn't our plan, we were supposed to help him." I said. "We know, but after he knocked you out, there was nothing we could do to convince him we were trying to help. We had no choice." Jasmine said. I then began getting the feeling of worry wash over me, I didn't know why, but I think that this Asteral was a friend, this wasn't a good feeling to have, and I wanted to end it by seeing if he was okay, for some reason. Then I spoke again, my voice calm. "What is done is done, but one day he will return, and I'm afraid we won't be able to stop it from happening." They nodded, and then we stood, I began to feel woozy again, and fell backwards, as the world began to fade into black.
~~~~~~~~~~~~End The Flash~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up by a tree, confused, I remembered everything that happened, but I didn't recognize it as anything, Maybe it's just because I didn't get enough sleep..... I thought, but shook it off as nothing. I got up and continued on my way to find........ Levin...... and Donovan.
Soon enough I had found Donovan and that flirtatious Vin Vin, and we were making our way to the plaza. I didn't mention the Flash thing to anyone, I didn't want to worry them, nor did I want to, I didn't want to relive that, not again. But I pushed the thought to the back of my mind as we walked to the centre of the plaza, where everyone was already crowding. Murmuring began to arise from the crowd as I stood on the edge of the fountain to over look everyone. "I have an announcement, Garrick has been taken away, far away from the village, and myself, Jade, Donovan, Darien, and Levin are heading out to find them. In place, Dion will be in charge of the village until we return. I hope you all understand that we have to go get Garrick back, he is not only our guard, but our friend, and we need him around. Thank you for your time, we shall be departing within an half an hour." I said, and everyone began to leave. I sighed and plopped down on the edge of the fountain. Everyone else in the party that was heading out with me, had gone to gather the remnants of what they needed to grab for the trip, so I laid back on the fountain edge closing my eyes, and wondering what I had gotten myself into. I also began wondering what that dream like thing had to do with this, but I shook that thought off, telling myself that I'd worry about it later. I heard foot steps approaching me, and just by the sound of them I could tell who it was. I sighed through my nose and spoke. "Hello Dion, is something the matter?" I asked, he pause. "How did you.... never mind, but why are you trusting me? I'm barely even a-." He began, and I finished for him. "A guard? Your better then you were when we found you, and I can trust Jade's judgement. So I trust you. Please, don't prove us wrong." I said. "Don't worry! I won't! I promise you won't be disappointed." And with that he ran off smiling.
After we left we managed to get six hours of travel in before night fell. We set up camp and took turns watch to make sure nothing attacked us. I took watch first, and my mind kept being pestered by that flash back. Though I didn't sleep well that night I was ready for the next day of traveling wanting to find Garrick safe.
