I woke up to Jade's light snoring. I looked over by the window and the she was all curled up on the chair sleeping. She must have been training Dion for quite a while last night.... She's normally up before me otherwise.... I thought. I then quietly got out of bed and scratched the back of my neck, as I walked down the stairs to see that Bernard had left a basket and a note on the table. I walked over to the table and read what the note said.

'Lady Cyrissa I hope you slept well, this is a basket of some freshly baked bread for you. Jade was training with Dion until Midnight last night so that's why she's still asleep. Also one last thing Garrick wanted me to tell you to meet him on the hill near the blacksmiths.

I mentally thanked him and grabbed the basket. That's when I heard Jade yawning and walking down the stairs. "Morning Jade!" I almost sang. "Morning....... What's got you in such a good moo-" she started when I stuffed a piece of bread in her mouth. "Mmmm!" She said chewing on the bread. "When doesn't fresh bread make a morning good!?" I asked, she shrugged. "Come on, Garrick wants to meet me by the blacksmiths, let's go!" I said smiling. She just shrugged again and kept chewing on her bread as we both left.

We walked up the stairs leading to the blacksmiths shop. I waved to the blacksmith and he waved back. I smiled and kept walking with Jade, who, surprisingly, still had bread to nibble on from the first price I gave her. We walked past and seen a large teal, and white house with blue trimming. I gasped and seen Garrick standing in front of the house, along with Dion, or as Jade likes to call him, Dino, Bernard, and someone I was hopping not to see for a little while, do to the overdose of flirting I got from him, Levin. We walked up to the house and stood by Garrick, Levin, Dion, And Bernard. "Surprise!" Garrick and Dion said in unison. I looked at them. "Oh my Sapphire! Y-you guys did this?" I asked still shocked. "Yep, we did, with our own two hands, how do you like it Sweetheart." Levin chimed in. "1: I LOVE IT! And 2: your gonna want to reframe from calling me Sweetheart, ever again." I said. "Awe shucks! Why's that?" Levin said with a pouty face. "Because, I'll sick all three of them on you, and if, IF you could beat them, then that would leave me to teach you a lesson." I said patting a hilt with a sword in it. Levin sighed and gave up, for now. Then Garrick lead us into the house and gave us a tour of the place. I seen he had already decorated it a little bit and it looked nice. He took us upstairs where there was two rooms, one the master bedroom, him saying it was mine, and the other being a guest room, which was almost the same size as the first. He lead us down into the basement, where I had my own personal smelter, brewing station, not that I'm any good at brewing, a crafters bench, and a storage room. "Wow! Th-this is amazing! Thank you all, so much!" I said turning around with a huge smile on my face. "Your quiet welcome M'lady." Garrick said. "Com'er guys! Group hug!!" I said grabbing Jade's hand and pulling her into it too. And before any one of the guys could object to the hug they were already pulled in, and by accident I smushed Dion and Levin's faces together during the hug, which I apologized for! "I'm SOOO Sorry guys! I didn't mean to, you know, creek!" I said making a smushing action with my hand. "No, no not a problem." Dion said. "At least Neither of us are cloister-phobic!" Levin said laughing. "Yeah, wait.... I thought you were the head guard of Silverstream! What are you doing here!?" I said panicked. "Bah! It's nothing to worry about.... Lord Para said that she needed a new guard... So she got one, I challenge him to a sparing match, and he beat me, gaining him the role as head guard... I shortly transferred over to here!" He said with a smile. "Well, it'll always be nice to have another guard..... Thank you for that." I said. "Well, I must be heading out.... Levin you give some more training to Dion here, I've got patrols to do." Garrick said as he left with a wave. I waved back as Levin sighed and took Dion out to train. "Again, thank you Bernard, for helping build my new home, and letting me and Hade stay at your house. And for the fresh bread." Me and Hade both said the last part together. "Your welcome, lord Cyrissa. Good day." He said leaving. "So? What's the plan now?" Jade asked. "We're going to build a guard tower! I've noticed that we don't have one, so it's a pretty good idea that we get one built for not only the villages sake, but also for all the guards!" I said. She nodded. "Let's go get started then!" She said with a smile, and we both left to gather materials.

After about five hours of gathering, and building. We finished the guard tower just as Garrick, Levin, and Dion, all walked down the path. The stopped mid-step, and looked at the building. "Heh heh heh! Surprise!!" We both practically sang as the boys looked at us, shocked.
