5: I get an unexpected visit

I found the peasant at the temple gate, took the horse and sped off. This city needs to forget I existed, sadly that was impossible. I rode in the open landscaps under the stars and moon. It was a relieve to know my father did not know where I was going.  The king whose name I do not know, wil tell him I am going to Kos when I am really traveling to Kea. In front of me I saw a light. It was flickkering like the flames of a fire. My stomach was growling with hunger and where the is fire there are people. In a few minutes I saw an old lady tending a massive fire. "Dear, come sit here. I hear you over there." How she heard me approuch I did not know yet I unmounted from my steed. Only untill I saw her from upclose did I realise she was blind. "Oh dear, come closer. Let me feel your hands and then I will give you something to eat." I was beyond hungry and well she was an old lady. I stepped closer to her and held out my hands. She took them in hers. Suprisingly her hands were as soft as silk. The woman ran her fingers over every curve and scar on my hands. After a few moments she let go. "I can feel the power coming off you. What is your name, dear?" What happened at the last place I gave my thrue identity, I decided to lie. "My name is Domini and who are you?" She laughed. "I am Lasy. Sit down and I'll give you some tea and meat." Only now did I see the meat and pot on the fire. Lasy poured a dark fluid into a cup and filled an ancient looking plate with meat. I accepted it gratefully. "Thank you, Lasy." She smiled at me. "Dear, what is a sweet thing like you doing here in the middle of nowhere?" Why did she ask so many questions? "I am going to visit my father and may I ask what you are doing here?" She laughed as she poked the cinders of the fire with a stick. "I came here to visit an enemy of mine." Her answer puzzled me. How could and ancient lady, who is so kind, have any enemies. "Who is this enemy?" She looked me right in the eye. "You are, Alexander Hess." In front of me the old lady transformed into a young woman. Her puple eyes gleamed with amusement. "Casandra, what do you want?" She laughed and touched my cheek. "I want you to join me. What your father and friends did, was wrong." How did she know? "How do I know about it? Well, I have my resourses. What do you say? Join me?" I shook my head and stood up. "No, I will not batray my father. He is my only family." As soon as I said the last sentence, I knew it was a lie. Casandra only proved me right. "Only family? He is your only supernatural family, yes, but you have hundreds of cousins, aunts and uncles. In a few decades the next vampire child will be born. Alexander, Amadeus is not your only family."  Her words did not suprise me. "How do you know so much about my family?" Casandra laughed and played with a curl of my hair. In the last two years I have grown them to waist length. I pulled back in disgust. "Do not touch me. Answer the question." For a moment I thought I saw hurt in her eyes, but in an instant their amusing gleamed returned. "Have you not learned that before you go at war, one must learn as much about your enemy as one can." My brow furrowed. "So now we are at war?" Casandra shook as she laughed. When she got herself undercontrol, she answered my question. "No, dear! We have been at war since your father batrayed me. I only started my plan two years ago when you went into the future." For once I was at a loss for words. "My father batrayed you? How?" As Casandra looked into the horizon, I knew it was a sore subject. Suddenly this powerful witch seemed weaker. "I do not talk about what happened. What he took from me-" suddenly she glared at me. "When I find Lycus's staff, we will fight our last battle. Untill then. Farewell, dear." She flashed away leaving the smell of cinnamon behind. Her visit left me frozen in time alas it was short lived. My horse neighed as someone hid behind a bush. "Show youself, peasant!" I heard a low growl and someone silencing it. "Show yourself or I will come get you. Believe me you do no want that." From behind the bush two beings stepped out. One was a girl and the other s dragon. Heira and Demetri. "What are you doing here?" Heira gave me a nervous, but angry look. "Alexander, you must come with us." As much as it hurt me, I smiled. "Why must I do that?" Heira looked heartbroken. "It is an order of the king. Come now or we will have to take you by force." I noticed her eyes had a glassy shine to them. My father compeled them to find me! "You are compeled to do it." I stepped closer to her and Demetri. "Compulsi er broken." The glassy shine disappeared. My old friends looked as if they have only woken now. Demetri turned into his human form and focused on me. "What are we doing here?" I smiled at him. "My father send you to catch me and take to him." Heira did not look at me, but still she spoke. "Maybe we should take you to him since you broke his rules."  Her words wounded me. I started to scuffle towards my steed. "I am leaving for Kea. If you want to join me, be my guest. If not then go back to king Amadeus." With that I climbed onto the horse. He needed at name since Meraki batrayed me. "Horse, I name you Naz. Also I bless you with abnormal speed and you connot die from sickness. Abnormala sped an noti dei sikne." Naz was bathed in a red light. "What do you chose?" Demetri dove onto the horse and flung his arms around me. "I like adventures. They're awesome!" We glanced at Heira. She was looking at Demetri not me. "What do you say, Heira?" I could see her brain working, trying to figure out what to do. After a moment she climbed on the horse and told Demetri she will go with him.
