HOLA EVERYONE!!! I am finally updating! Even if it's just a short...kind of like a teaser, really. Thanks for waiting guys!!!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters in the story, just the plot. Also, pic ain't mine :D

"What took you so- IS THAT DAVID TENNANT?!" (Y/N)'s mother practically screamed.

The Doctor went inside the house, but not before saying hello to (Y/N)'s mom. She was now talking animatedly to her daughter, fangirling at the fact that they have an actor in their house...well...sort of.

"Mom, I'm gonna be TOTALLY serious with you. He's not David...he's...the Doctor," (Y/N) told her mother. The Doctor wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying. He was looking around the living room, where the walls were full of paintings and portraits. It contained rather...not normal stuff. In one, it depicted a boy with an orange shirt and a ballpoint pen being chased by a pack of hellhounds. In another, it depicted a horse riding another horse (Gee, wouldn't know where that came from.). And in another, Gallifrey was painted. There was ano- WAIT WHAT?! GALLIFREY?!

The Doctor scanned the picture again and again. "(Y/N), where did this picture come from?" the Doctor beckoned to her. She strode over to him, leaving her grinning mother by the door, and stood beside him. When she found out the reason why he sounded so surprised, she quickly removed the painting from its mounting.

"Uh, uhm...yeah, I painted it...from....JUST a random idea," she replied with a nervous laugh. She saw in his face that he didn't believe her. Well, who would? It was clearly a painting of Gallifrey, a planet long gone. Yet it was perfectly illustrated by an eighteen-year old human girl.

"Can I have it, please?" the Doctor gestured to the painting. The (h/c)-haired girl sighed, having no choice but to give in. "How, in all of time and space, did you paint this?" he asked. By now, (M/N) stood beside her daughter.

"Weeell, first of all, I gathered my materials, including canvas, painting brushes, poster paint and a few acrylic, other stuff for enhan-," she stopped when she saw the look on the Doctor's face which clearly said "Be serious." She sighed again.

"Like I said, a random idea." The Doctor remained unconvinced, but nevertheless, pursued the topic no more. He then smiled at the girl's mother.

"You know, Miss (L/N), I'd like to ask you. Would it be okay if I took your daughter with me?" he asked with a lopsided smile. "I see you already know what I am pertaining to."

(Y/N)'s mother chewed at her lower lip, while (Y/N) looked at her with puppy eyes. "Hmmmm..." she hesitated, then sighed. "I can't keep my daughter from a dream come true. As sad as it is, I allow you to, Doctor." (Y/N) jumped so high she would have hit her head with the ceiling.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so MUCH!!! YOU'RE THE BEST, MOM!" (Y/N) squealed while trapping her mom in a very tight bear hug.

"Can't-br-breath!" (M/N) squeaked, causing (Y/N) to instantly let go.

"I'll be packing if you need me!" (Y/N) declared as she ran to her room, shutting the door behind her. Her mother sighed already feeling lonely. She then turned to the mysterious man in front of her.

"I reckon she hasn't told you why she knows you, eh?" her words sounding more like a statement that a question. The Doctor gave her a nod, eyes still fixated on the painting. "Take care of her for me, Doctor. I wouldn't think twice about murder if you bring her great harm."

"I promise that I'll try my best, Miss (L/N)," the Doctor stated, peering at her through his 'brainy specs.'

"Oh just call me (M/N)!" The two finished their small chat just as (Y/N) walked out the door, duffle bag slung over her shoulder.

"Ready to go, Mr. Sonic?" she chimed. The Doctor pocketed the painting (bigger on the inside coat *pfft*) and gave her a grin. "Well then, Mom, we'll be off!"

"Oh, do wait a sec, sugar! Here, don't open it until you are in TOTAL doubt about yourself," her mom said, squeezing into her bag a small box, only a little bigger than a ring box. (Y/N) only had a questioning look on her face as she gave her mom a peck on the cheek.

"Take care, (N/N)," her mom said with tears welling up in her eyes as (Y/N) gave her home one last look before shutting the door behind her.

*IN THE TARDIS*

"So Doctor, where are we off to?" she happily asked the man standing beside her.

"All of time and space, where would YOU like to go?" he asked her instead with a smirk, earning a beaming smile from her face.

"I have quite a LOT in mind, but I guess...let's go to ________!!!"
