(A/N: Before we start, I had made this picture of 3 year old Nate in Mariner Bay Park by a snowman in only a sweater, shorts, barefoot and holding a pillow and teddy bear in the Gachalife App. This is because I was trying to make Nate at a young age for the story and also because I was going for something that was fairly similar to what was playing in my mind XD)

No one's POV: It was a fairly cold day in the beautiful city of Mariner Bay because of  it being winter at the moment. All the Rangers were outside and having fun. EVEN CARTER, who's usually

training; was currently getting pelted with snowballs and enjoying himself.

Captain Mitchell watches this, smiling at how the Rangers are enjoying the day.

Angela Fairweather runs past and throws a snowball at Captain Mitchell, who ACTUALLY cracks up laughing at this and sneaks up behind Carter and slides a snowball down the Red Rangers' shirt, making Carter spazz at the sudden coldness and look at Captain Mitchell, laughing when he figured out it was.

A few couple feet from all this is a little boy by the name of Nathan, who was currently sitting in the snow with a pillow and his teddy bear. The poor boy is in just a sweater, shorts and it looks like the poor boy is freezing.

Kelsey's POV: As I'm watching Captain Mitchell playing around with Carter, I see something out of the corner of my eye that seems to look like a little boy, no older than three years old. "Guys. Over there by the playground. It looks like a kid, no older than 3 years old. He looks like he's freezing." I say as they look over as Carter heads into the Rescue Rover and comes back holding his jacket, boots, hat, etc. 

Carter's POV: I come back holding my winter clothes in my arms. "He needs these right now." I say as Dana and I walk over to the little boy as I kneel down, kindly smiling "Hey buddy. You okay out here?"

Nate's POV: I wake up and see a man and woman smiling at me. "H-hi. I-'m j-j-ust c-cold." I stutter out due to the cold snow all around me." I see the man smile "Here. How about we get you in these warm clothes? You'll be much warmer in these." I nod as the man helps me into the boots, jacket, etc. "N-nam'e's N--Nate." I say still shivering The man and woman smile "I'm Carter Grayson. This is Dana Mitchell. Wanna come with us to our home? It's underwater but it's so cool" He asks me as I nod a bit. "How can you breathe underwater?"

Dana's POV: I smile " Because a tunnel leads down to our Aquabase so we can breathe." I smile as Nate hugs Carter and I "Want me to carry you Nate?" My heart melts when he nods as I carefully scoop him up in my arms and carry him to the Rescue Rover "Guys, let's go home. We've a new friend. Nate will be staying with us a while"

Captain Mitchell's POV: "Absolutely no problem Dana. We can't just leave him here. It's too cold out here. Even I have a hard time in the cold" I laugh softly watching Nate grin a bit.

Time Skip to when they all get back to the Aquabase

Joel's POV: "Hey Nate, wanna watch Imagination Movers?" (Reference to one of my other stories XD) I ask as Nate nods as I turn it on as we're all under blankets and warm as Nate smiles while absentmindedly curling up to Dana and Carter, who wrap their arms around him, smiling softly as we see Warehouse Mouse playing hide and seek with Rich and Smitty as we all laugh at how cute this is.I look over and see that Nate's fallen asleep in Carter's arms as Carter's also fallen asleep as he holds Nate close, keeping the kid warm. We all move to make the couch into a futon so that Carter and Nate can be comfortable in their sleep. 

Chad's POV: "Aww. That's so cute. Carter's holding him close like he's Nate's dad" I feel as if Nate may or may not have any parents and kinda feel bad for the kid. 

Time Skip to where everyone but Carter's up and Nate and Dana have an adorable way of waking up Sleepy Carter

Captain Mitchell's POV: "Wow. I don't think I've ever seen Carter sleep in before. This is rare". I joke as Nate whispers something in Dana's ear as she chuckles "You sure that'll wake him up?" She asks Nate as he nods "Mhm" They walk over to Carter, who's asleep, arms and legs out like a starfish as Dana moves the blanket off Carter a bit, who just continues sleeping, not even a little bit aware of what's going on as Nate walks over to Carter, smiling as he then gently put a hand out as he starts tickling Carter's neck as  yawns, giggling softly as he wakes up and scoops up Nate and smiles "Thanks for the wake up Nate"

Nate smiles "Wecome" He is smiling adorably as they all go out for breakfast
