And when the Jeffery's said they'd protect me too and I'd never be left behind they lied. So, how was I supposed to believe my own birth family that they'd do the same and abandon me after promising they wouldn't. I just smiled softly and followed Genesis to where I'd be sleeping, it was stunning to say the least. It had a sitting area for me with bookshelves going around the corner with a ladder to reach the top shelves. Then there was a separate door which led to a closed off area with my bed, bathroom and closet.

"Can I make them green?" I asked pointing towards the bed

"Of course dear let me do it" she said

"I know the spell silly" I said

"Oh you do?" She asked

"Taught myself, I been practicing and studying since I found out when I was eight and my hogwarts letter came it explained a lot that I thought was me going insane" I said

"Agatha really didn't believe in it did she" she asked

"No and my adoptive siblings called me a freak of nature that I was evil but their minds said otherwise that's when I knew I could read minds Jason my adoptive brother wishes he could be a wizard too that's why he got mad at me" I said

"Oh dear I'm so sorry they did that, I can assure you it won't happen here, you come from a long line of wizardry and we will do whatever it takes so you know everything you want and need to know" she said

"Tom riddle and Matteo why do you keep believing their evil, it's not them that's the issue it's their father and, what if they want nothing to do with the guy and they just can't escape him" I said

Her eyes went wide before they softened with something I couldn't quite place.

"I want you to do whatever you believe, if you believe they aren't bad get to know them so you can prove to yourself that your intuition is better then you think, and if theirs someone you don't like do whatever it is to stand up for yourself, if you see an innocent person being bullied help them, whatever you want to do with life is up to you but I may warn you not every path is the right path" she said gently

"Thanks mum, I promise if I need advice I'll letter you or ask" I said

"Oh my baby girl I've missed you" she said softly

"What did dad mean when he said it was too dangerous for you to keep me?" I asked

"There was a war when your brother was born and shortly after you came along when the war kicked up and got really bad all the powerful witches and wizards were forced by family or by belief that power is everything and they were turned against the good ones, they were bad be they wanted to believe that only pure bloods should survive because muggles born witches and wizards were seen as beneath them, but you my dear were powerful from the moment you were born, your eyes sparkle with a green emerald glow and your hands sparked with fire, I knew that if he got his hands on you he'd use you as a weapon when you got older so I had to send you away" she said teary eyed

"Thank you....for protecting me when I had no idea you were even doing it" I said hugging her

"I will always protect my little girl" she said softly into the hug

"I...thanks" I said softly

"I'll let you get settled in and then we can have some dinner cause tomorrow you go to Hogwarts" she smiled

"Ok" I said nodding my head

Once she left I began unpacking some stuff I brought that I wouldn't be taking to Hogwarts. When I opened the closet it was filled with dresses and clothes plus shoes and accessories. I was shocked but smiled to myself I'd never had someone care this much for me and it brought tears to my eyes. There was gift boxes marked with each year of birthdays they missed and a few were for my current age.

"They've waited so long for you to be able to return" Oliver said

"I can remember them giving me up, I remember their eyes as they cried and handed me to Dumbledore so he could put me at the orphanage, I remember how you cried about not being able to grow up with me, I remember a lot sometimes it haunts me, that they couldn't protect me within these walls, but it's ok because I'm home now" I said and turned to face him

"Your very intelligent and wise for an eleven year old girl" I smiled proudly

"Thanks, you're only a few years older than me right?" I asked

"I'll be going into third year and you first so I'm three years older than you" he said

"Shocking how I remember isn't it" I said softly

"Very interesting actually" he said

"Super is ready by the way" he said

"Ok" I said with a soft smile
