Part Thirteen
This has some creepy imagery. I also don't own the pictures used
Note: Ronnie Anne and Lincoln are just friends so she will be safe.
Ronnie Anne Santiago was a tough girl, who also stood by her friends and helped them out when they needed. So when she heard that Clyde and Stella disappeared during the camping trip, Ronnie Anne decided to search for them herself. Though it took some preparations and patience on her part, she finally arrived at the forest. A forest which looked so creepy with the fog rolling in close to nighttime.
"I hope I find these two soon." She muttered to herself as she took her first steps towards the forest. Just as she was about to make her first step in, she froze and frantically looked around. It felt like someone or something was watching her which didn't help ease the nerves that were telling her to turn back and get the authorities. She knew that they wouldn't do anything since they were more focused on the murders that were taking place during this time. Sure, some are looking, but she knew that sooner or later...they were just going to stop searching. So she tried to ignore that feeling and started up her search as someone watched her before seemingly disappearing behind the trees.
Meanwhile Bobby Santiago looked at the flyer that was in his mail box with a raised eyebrow. It was an ad for a camp counselor for somewhere called Camp Crystal Lake. The name sounded familiar to him, but he was more interested in how much the job paid him. Hm...it seems pretty well off with the added bonus of being able to swim in that beautiful lake close to the camp site. This job could be a way to pay off the debt that he made several months back. So without a second thought, he started to call the number to get the job. Never knowing that this was a trap that will either end with him alive or dead...though that only matters if he makes some smart choices.
(Camp Crystal Lake)
Back with Ronnie Anne, she kept walking through the path with her heart basically thumping against her chest. Not like anyone could blame her considering that the woods were deadly silent. She couldn't see any animals which didn't help when she could still feel someone or something watching her. Just watching. Waiting for the chance to strike. She wanted to scream, run and search for help...but no one has been in these woods since the murders. Which left her alone with this person or thing who wanted something from her.
"Calm down, Ronnie Anne..it should be..." Ronnie Anne said before noticing that the path split into two different paths. She decided to follow the left one first before trying the right...though that plan was derailed once she noticed that the left path was blocked off by some large tree. Groaning, Ronnie Anne turned to try the other path only to bump into someone.
"Sorry about that, I..." Ronnie Anne began before noticing that this person had no expressions on their face...no, that the person actually had no face. She was tall and had black hair with some tendrils on her back. Normally, she would face a problem head on, but in this case...she decided to run.
Run through the trees as this woman stands still almost like she knows that no matter how far, Ronnie Anne runs....she would be able to catch her. It was frustrating knowing that her effort could be in vain, but she had to try.
For her family.
For her friends.
For Linc....
SMACK!
Ronnie Anne was so in her thoughts that she hardly noticed a tree in her path until she smacked right into it. As she groaned and started to get up, she felt something wrap around her ankles. Looking down, she could see two black tendrils wrapping around her and as she started to try to get them off...they pulled her inside the forest making her another missing person in Royal Woods.
Though, she had a much better fate than her brother.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
