My heart has shattered

The pieces scattered

Lost in the wind

Gone forever

My scars are never ending

Always appearing

Nothing can heal them

Not any medicine

My mind is in ruins

Chaos rules it

It controls my

Every breath and action

But yet you still stay

You counsel me through

Saying that you'll

Never leave me alone

I can't comprehend

Such actions

For I am a wreck

Why stay with me?

It appears that I

Only cause pain

To all of those

Who get too close to me

Yet you shush me

A finger on my lips

Saying that that doesn't matter

And that you'll make me better

That you'll piece together

My shattered heart

And keep it close

To yours always

That you'll end the scars

And embrace those I have

As a part of me

A life lesson in flesh

That you'll heal my mind

And end the rule of chaos

And start with a new beginning
