Greetings, Mortals!

This will be my fourth ONC, Open Novella Contest if you weren't sure. Last year was the first time I made it to the last round. As a write who struggles with short fiction, this was quite milestone! I feel emboldened to try harder and to push my own limits. So this go round, I am going to try something out of my wheelhouse. I'm glad you can take this journey with me.

This story is based off an anime/manga I find hilarious and inspired by ONC 2023 prompt #80.

80. For decades, monsters have been able to hide away from human eyes. But when humans discover the monsters, they decide to organize a peaceful unity and send an ambassador. Can human and monsters co-exist peacefully or will the unity fall?
