Wild Card Pov

I growled as I hit Robin on the head as my wings disappeared.

"Idiot! Because of you so excited, I forgot my cape! And my mask!" I yelled as I covered my eyes. My mouth is covered with a face mask but my eyes aren't.

"Here. I have a spare." He said as he handed me a mask and I wore it.

"No spare cape?" I asked and he cackled.

"Nope." He said

"I'm so gonna kill you." I muttered as he jumped out of his hiding spot and threw explosives at Dr. Freeze. I sighed and jumped out then kicked him on the gut and landed down in front of him. He tried hitting me with his ice cannon or something but I ducked and gave him an uppercut as I back flipped and threw explosives at him.

"Boy Wonder, Black Shooter. I should've known. I'm a little underwhelmef." He said

"Yeah yeah whatever. But we're kind of in a hurry here." I said in an irritated voice.

"Kids these days." He said

"Not talking to you." I said in annoyance and finally, Batman finished him off.

"Yes! Finally! Now let's get going!" Rob exclaimed and I hopped on my black motorcycle.

"You guys go ahead. I need to get my cape." I said

"Oh come on!" Rob whined

"I'm not going there without you." He said as he hopped on his motorcycle and Batman went in his Batmobile.

"Seriously? Alfred's waiting by the streets. I can catch up." I said as I wore my helmet.

"Alright fine. Hurry." He said and I nodded as I sped off. I saw Alfred standing by the streets with my cape and I smiled then drove with one hand. I drove past him, successfully grabbing my cape from him.

"Thanks, Alfred!" I yelled and I saw him nodding through my mirrors. I set the motorcycle on auto and wore my cape. It's just like Rob's but the inside is black instead of yellow. Once I reached the Hall of Justice, I stopped and hopped off my motocycle as I took off my helmet. Green Arrow, Speedy, Aquaman and Aqualad are already here with Rob and Batman.

"See? Told you I'm gonna make it." I said as I walked towards Robin and he grinned at me as I folded my arms over my chest then grinned back.

"Today's the day." Batman said as he smiled at us and we nodded. We suddenly heard a squeak and we looked behind us.

"Aww man! I knew we're gonma be the last ones here!" Kid Flash pouted and I cackled.

We walked to pass the photographers and fans as we completely ignored them. Batman told us that giving them attention will only make the media more............wild?

"Have five sidekicks been at the same place at the same time--" KF was cut off by Speedy.

"Do not call us sidekicks. Not after today." He said

"Sorry, first time at the hall. I'm a little overwhelmed." KF said with a smile.

"You're overwhelmed. Freeze was underwhelmed, why can't anybody just be whelmed?" Rob and I said at the same time as we walked in and saw the big seven's statues.

"I think this answers our question." I cackled and Rob grinned.

"True that." He said and the elevator opened and we saw Martian Manhunter abd Red Tornado walk out of it.

"Robin, Wild Card, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash. Welcome." Martian Manhunter greeted and we smiled. KF, Rob, and I fist bumped as we walked in the elevator and the doors closed.

We reached the top and walked out of the elevator as we scanned the room. Shelves of books aligned, three seats, and a big computer screen. The justice league computer. Oh man. How bad do I want to use/hack it? So bad! I would've beaten Joker and Lex Luthor!

Aqualad, KF, and Rob plopped down on the seats as I walked towards the computer and stared at it.

"That's it?" I heard Speedy asked and I looked at their direction. He's arguing with his mentor, Green Arrow.

"You said we'll see the real thing! Not a glorified backstage pass!" Speedy growled

"Roy, you just have to be patien--" Green Arrow was cut off.

"What I need....is respect. They're treating us like kids. Worse! Like sidekicks!" Roy said as he turned to the boys and they just looked at each other. They all looked at me and I just shrugged as I walked back towards Rob.

"You're kidding, right? You're playing their game?" Roy asked in frustration as I folded my arms over my chest.

"Today's suppose to be the day. THE day." Roy continued

"Well sure, but I thought step one is a tour in the HQ." KF said

"Except the hall isn't the HQ. They have an HQ in space called the Watchtower. With Wild Card's brain, I'm pretty sure she knows this already." Speedy said and they all looked at me but I looked away as I balled my hands into fists.

"Guilty." He said and I sighed.

"Fine. So I know about the real HQ. Big deal." I said and he turned to look at his mentor.

"I thought I was your partner. Well, not anymore. I quit." He said as he threw his hat on the ground and stomped off. We widened our eyes as the boys stood up and we watched Speedy get in the elevator.

"Superman to Justice league, there has been an explosion at Cadmus. It's on fire." We heard Superman said and we all turned to the computer. Our mentors walked towards it.

"Zatara to league. The sorcerer Wotan is using the amulet of Atlan to blot out the sun. Requesting full league response." Zatara said as a small screen of him appeared.

"Superman?" Batman asked

"I-It's a small fire. Local authorities have it under control." Superman responded.

"Then Cadmus can wait." Batman said as the screen turned black again.

"Stay put. We'll handle this." He said as he turned to us and we walked towards them.

"What? Why?" Rob asked

"You're not trained." Flash said

"Since when!?" KF asked

"I mean you're not trained to work with this team." Flash explained as he gestured to theirselves.

"You will have your day, when you're ready. But for now, stay put." Batman said sternly and they all walked in the zeta tubes.

"When we're ready!? How can we be ready if they treat us like....like sidekicks!?" KF ranted

"My mentor, my king, I thought he trusted me." Aqualad said

"Trust? They don't even trust us with the basics! They have a secret HQ, in space!" KF said

"What else aren't they telling us?" Aqualad asked

"I have a better question, why didn't we leave with Speedy?" Rob asked and I was about to answer when he covered my already covered mouth.

"Don't answer that." He said and I chuckled as he let go of my covered mouth.

"Fine." I said and Aqualad suddenly asked.

"What is.....Cadmus?" He asked and Rob and I had that dangerous grin we would always put on.

"Don't know. But we can find out." He said as we walked towards the computer and hacked.

"Access denied."

"Heh. Wanna bet?" I said with a smirk as I granted access.

"Woah. How did you do that?" KF asked

"Same system as the batcave." I answered

"Access granted."

Rob started searching for the files about Cadmus as my digital screen pops out of my gold bracelet.

"Alright. Project Cadmus. Genetics lab in DC. That's all there is." Rob said

"But if Batman's suspicious, we should investigate." He said as I typed in the info about Cadmus.

"Solve their case before they do. It is poetic justice." Aqualad said

"Hey! They're all about justice!" Rob said with a cocky grin.

"But they told us to stay put." Aqualad sighed.

"Wild?" Rob said and I cackled as I turned to face them.

"They told us to stay put on the blotting out the sun mission not Cadmus." I said

"Woah! Are you two going to Cadmus? Because if you're going, then me too." KF said and we all looked at Aqualad with innocent smiles.

"That's it? We're a team, going on a mission?" Aqualad asked

"We didn't come for a play date." Rob said and Aqualad smiled.

Rob and I swung towards Cadmus with our grappling hooks and went in through the windows. I helped KF up and we got in then hacked hrough the computers.

"I appreciate the help." Aqualad said and I cackled.

"Hey! You handled it." Rob said

"An elevator? But this building's only two stories high!" KF suddenly blurted out and Rob and I looked at each other. We both nodded at each other and ran towards the elevator.

"This is a high express elevator." I said

"Wild! I was just searching for it!" Rob whined and I cackled as Aqualad opened the elevator.

"That's not two stories deep." He said as he looked down and Rob and I shot out hooks on a pole at the top then jumped down. Once we stopped moving, we both jumped towards the edge and I lost balance but Rob caught me by the waist.

"Thanks, Rob." I thanked and he grinned as he let go of me. I disabled the security system and let Aqualad open the doors.

Okay, so we got noticed and are running away from aliens as they try to capture us!

"Ugh, stupid aliens." I muttered as I grabbed a card from my deck clipped on my utility belt. An ace card. I threw it at them and black smoke came out of it. We went in the elevator as fast as we can and I panted heavily. My wings appeared on my back, fluttered close and I put my hands on my hips.

"We should contact the league." Aqualad said

"No way!" I protested as the doors opened and I quickly ran out then hid by the crates. Rob and the others followed.

"So, hallway one or hallway two?" I asked

"Stop." We heard someone commanded and we stood up straight. An alien with telekenisis appeared and he threw objects at us with his powers. Rob threw explosives at him and we made a run for hallway two. KF knocked off a scientist and I couldn't help but cackle. He quickly grabbed an oxygen tank and stopped the door of project Kr from closing. We all quickly ran in and Aqualad kicked the tank away and fully shut the door. Rob and I disabled the security system and made sure the door's locked.

"We're safe." Rob said

"We're trapped." Aqualad corrected

"Woah!" KF gasped and I turned around to look at him. He's staring at a glass tube with a.....younger version of Superman?

"Now that is creepy." I said as I looked at the three creatures on top of the younger Superman.

"Rob, Wild, hack." Aqualad said and we nodded as my digital screen appeared.

"Let's see. Weapon desigination, Superboy. A clone forced grown in, 16 weeks!? From DNA acquired from Superman." Robin said in shock.

"Stolen from Superman." Aqualad said.

"So, he's Superman's son?" KF asked

"And these creatures?" Aqualad asked as he pointed to the little aliens at the top of Superboy.

"Genomorph gnomes." I answered

"Now, we contact the league." Aqualad said as he pressed his belt. I pressed the middle on my utility belt but nothing. No signal.

"No signal. We're in too deep." KF said

"Well? What should we do?" Aqualad asked

"We can't let him stay here." Robin said

"Open the tube, KF." Aqualad said said

"Ok." KF said as he pressed a button that opened the tube. Smoke came out of it and I groaned.

"This is a bad idea." I muttered and Superboy woke up. He looked at us for a bit then quickly jumped out and landed a punch on Aqualad.

"Aqualad!" Rob yelled and I cackled as I threw ace cards at Superboy and it exploded. Black smoke appeared and I threw a card with an icy blue snowflake in the middle. Ice came out of it and it freezed Superboy when the smoke cleared out.

"You guys good?" I asked as I walked towards Superboy.

"Y-yes." Aqualad muttered as KF helped him up and Superboy managed to break the ice and grab me by the neck.

"L-let go." I stuttered as I reached for my belt.

"Wild!" Rob yelled and I screamed when Superboy tightened his grip on me.

"Wild!" Rob yelled again as he kicked Superboy and he let go of me. I dropped to the ground and panted heavily as I regained my breath.

"You alright?" Rob asked as he bent down in front if me and I choked.

"Do I look like I'm alright!?" I yelled and he cackled.

"Yeah. You do." He joked back and I punched his arm lightly. He stood up and lent a hand. I took it and he pulled me up. Superboy ran towards us and we both jumped away. Aqualad and KF are already knocked out. Rob threw his birdarangs while I threw cards with bombs printed on it. Superboy didn't budge and I growled when he managed to knock off Rob.

"Look Superboy or whatever your name is. I'm not supposed to kill anymore but you left me no choice." I said as I grabbed my black metal stick strapped on my left thigh. It retracted into an icy blue scythe with two blades and snowflakes floating around it. I swung my scythe as Superboy dodged and I quickly punched him square on the face. He slammed into a wall and I was about to finish him when I heard a grunt.

"No! Wild!" A yell soon followed and I realized it's Rob. Superboy ran towards me and I didn't have time to block so he successfully knocked me out.
