Wild Card Pov

"Dick! Come on! We're gonna be late and I have a test!" I yelled from the living room. I'm already in my uniform and my black and white string bag on my shoulders. Dick's taking so long.

"Coming!" He yelled from the stairs as he ran down. His hair's not combed back yet.

"Sorry, woke up late." He said as he grabbed a muffin from the kitchen counter and I sighed.

"Pass me one of those muffins." I said and he grabbed another muffin. He handed it to me and I munched on it as we walked out of the manor.

"We'll head to the cave after school, right?" He said and I nodded as we got in the black limo. Alfie's already sitting on the driver's seat and I pulled out my gold phone.

"Say, are big sis and Wally a couple?" I asked

"I sure hope." He said as he combed his hair and I cackled.

We passed through the gates of the shool and saw Artemis talking to that Bette girl. The one who always gives tours for new students. I grinned at Dick and we both ran towards Artemis. We stood at each side of her and Dick lifted his phone.

"We'll laugh at this someday." He said as he took a picture with me and him smiling whole Artemis looked confused. We ran out and saw Barbra leaning by one of the pillars.

"Dick, Ace, what was that?" She asked and I cackled.

"Come on Babs, just being nice to the new girl." Dick said and all of us walked in the school. Ok, so Dick and I are thesmartest and athletic kids here and we get bullied for it. But me being me, I would always give comebacks that will burn them. Life of being Bruce Wayne's ward.

"Oh look the twin nerds!" Someone exclaimed and they laughed. I smirked as we kept on walking.

"Oh look a monkey managed to speak English!" I yelled back.

"Oooohhhhh, burn!" The students exclaimed as theylaughed and Babs and Dick held their stomachs. Tears forming in their eyes as they almost died from laughing.

"Dudes, that's not even my best comeback." I cackled and they kept on laughing.

Rob and I went to one of the old telephone booths here in Gotham city which is also a zeta tube.

"Artemis! How random that you're here in Gotham city instead of Star City where your uncle Green Arrow lives." Robin said as we came out of the shadows and saw Artemis in front of the booth.

"Oh! Robin! Wild!" Artemis exclaimed and I decided to play with Artemis.

"Gotham's pretty far from Star City, big sis. Why are you here?" I asked with a smirk as I walked towards them.

"Oh yeah, uhmm.......I went to my cousin's spelling bee competition! Yeah!" She lied and I cackled.

"R-E-A-L-L-Y? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!" I spelled out.

"C-O-O-L. Did she W-I-N?" Robin asked with a smirk.

"N-O." Artemis answered with irritation and I smirked.

"D-R-A-G." I spelled.

"Well, ladies first." I said.

"You're a girl as well." Artemis said.

"Yep. I'm a GIRL not a LADY." I said and she groaned.

"How about Robin goes first? He is the only boy." Artemis suggested and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Whatever keeps your bubble from popping." I said and Robin went inside.

"Recognized, Robin B01."

"Recognized, Artemis B07."

"Recognized, Wild Card B04."

We arrived in the cave and suddenly felt fire. Smoke is blocking our sight.

"Artemis!" I yelled as I saw a fireball flying towards her. I quickly jumped up and threw a card as it grew bigger and protected us from the fire.

"Thanks, Girl." Artemis thanked as she loaded her bow and once the fireball disappeared, my card burnt and disappeared.

"No worries. I'll guard you." I said and she nodded.

"Artemis! Wild!" Robin yelled out as he landed beside us.

"What's happening!?" Artemis freaked out and I saw a vent.

"Get in there." I commanded and they followed.

"What happened? Go check the security cameras, Rob." I said as we stopped crawling and sat calmly to breathe.

"Yes ma'am." Robin chuckled as his monitor appeared on his wrist and I sighed.

"Just do what I say." I said and we saw all four security cameras. Wally was fixing Connor's bike with Kaldur, Megan, and Connor when fire and water came out of nowhere.

"All four, dead." Robin said when the cameras died down and Artemis widened her eyes.

"No! The cameras! I meant the cameras!" He quickly said as his monitor diappeared. I cackled quietly.

"So what are we gonna do? We don't have superpowers!" Artemis panicked. I suddenly felt heat and looked at my left. Fire.

"Great! Go! Go go go!" I commanded as the fire got closer and Robin and Artemis looked at the fire.

"Move!" Robin yelled at Artemis who is in front of him and Artemis quickly obeyed.

"Keep crawling!" I yelled as the fire got closer. I grabbed a card and it grew bgger as I stuck it on the vent. It blocked the fire and I kept crawling. Wow. Luck really is on my side today.......NOT.

"Attention Robin, attention Wild Card, attention Artemis. You have exactly 10 minutes to surrender or your friends will die." A robotic voice said and we kept on moving.

We got out of the vent and ended up in the library. The passage way!

"There's a secret passage here. One of the books is the key." I informed as we roamed around the library.

"Clichè much?" Artemis said

"You should see our library and her room." Rob said and I suddenly heard loud clinking of metal and quickly pulled Artemis and Rob by one of the shelves.

"What gi-" I cut Artemis off by putting a finger in my lips. We all leaned against the shelf and I peeked my head out a bit. I saw a male robot. It looks like Red Tornado.

"It's Red Tornado!" Artemis exclaimed as she tried jumping out of her spot but I acted fast and pulled her back.

"Hey!" She suddenly yelled out and I mentally face palmed. The robot's head snapped towards our direction and he lifted a palm. Water suddenly came out and went towards us.

"Jump up!" I yelled as the water got closer. Robin jumped up amd landed on top of the shelf. Artemis followed and so did I. I saw another robot but female and she knocked the shelves down. Making the rest go like dominos. We jumped to the other shelf and landed down swiftly. I quickly pulled a book and the secret passage opened. Rob pulled me and Artemis in as the shelf in front of us started falling. The passage closed just in time and I sighed in relief.

"Now what?" Artemis asked

"Rob's the one in-charge when Aqualad's not here." I said as I started running.

"Did you two know that Tornado has, siblings?!" Artemis asked as they followed me and my eyebrows narrowed. I don't remember him having siblings. I've seen his file before.

"No." Robin said as we stopped running. We crouched down as we saw a fireball heading towards us. The heat making me sweat.

"Go! I'll hold them off!" I commanded as I pulled out my black metal stick and it retracted into a scythe with four blades. Fire dancing around it as the black handle is held firmly by me.

"But-" Artemis tried protesting but I looked at them with serious eyes.

"Now!" I repeated and Rob and Artemis went to stop the robots from moving using the power core of the cave a few feet away from where I am standing. I caught the two robots' attention and they attacked. Water and fire mixing together.

"Wow. Just wow." I said as I spun my scythe and blocked the hit.

"Your scythe is 10 times stronger than steel. How did that happen?" The female robot asked and I smirked.

"Simple." I smirked wider as I stood up straight and formed a stance.

"I'm a circus kid." I said with eyes looking like daggers.

"You're not normal." The male robot said and I nodded.

"Whoever said I was normal? That's junk!" I cackled as I kicked the both of them into the water. I cackled as they drowned and twirled my scythe with one hand.

"Woohoo! Kick their butts, Wild!" KF exclaimed and I bowed like I just finished a performance. Just like old times.

The robots rose from the water and started blasting fire and water towards me. Behind me are Aqualad and Megan trapped in a fire cage. I can't dodge. I can't block either. Only one way.

I lifted my free hand and opened my palm.

"Dneb." I chanted as the water and fire bended and attacked the robots. I can feel the team except for Rob widen their eyes as they watched me.

"Raeppasid." I chanted and the fire cage disappeared.

"Anytime now, Rob! Artemis!" I yelled as the robots started getting up again.

"Just hold them off for a few more minutes, Wild!" Robin informed and I groaned.

"Nonnac eci." I chanted and blasted ice towards the robots. They soon broke free from the ice and got up again.

"You guys are pretty tough." I cackled

"Finished!" Rob yelled and activated the machine. The robots started malfunctioning and soon drowned into the water.

"Awwwww, bye bye." I muttered as I sat down and let my scythe turm back into a stick. I placed it back on my thigh and groaned. The water drained and Megan's conciousness came back. Of course it will come back! She's freaking Megan!

"What happened, Wild!?" Robin yelled as he jumped in front of me. As expected from someone who came from a circus act. Like me.

"What happened? Oh, the robots finally stopped working and I'm totally drained." I answered with sarcasm.

"That's not what I meant." Rob said as he crouched down to my level.

"What happened? You showed them your magic." He said in a concerned voice and I looked away.

"It's none your concern, Rob. Besides, they'll know sooner or later." I said as I stood up but regretted it immediately. My head started spinning. The world is spinning. My vision is blurry. I started stumbling as I gripped my head and tried blinking the blur away.

"Wild?"

"Wild?"

"Wild!"

That's all I heard until I faded into darkness.

Robin Pov

I caught Wild just before she landed and I looked at her face with concern.

"You need to rest." I  muttered as I  picked her up bridal style.

"What happened to her!?" Artemis and KF asked with worried faces.

"She's unconcious. But her heartbeat is normal." I said as I held my bestfriend closer to me

"She needs rest. Go take her to her room." Aqualad said and I nodded as I started walking away when KF stopped me.

"Rob?" He called and I stopped on my tracks and looked at him over my shoulder.

"Yeah?" I asked and KF smirked.

"You two look perfect." He said and I immediately hid a blush.

"Don't you dare hurt her, Rob. Or I swear I'll break your bones." Artemis threathened.

"I-I'll go now." I stuttered as I continued walking away.

"We didn't hear a complain!" Connor yelled and I tried hiding a smile but failed. I do like her. No. I'm in love with her. For nine years.
