Yunjin's pretty face is in a mask of confusion . " But how do we know when we've already reached two hundred words ? "

" Count . " Mr . Park replies . Eunhye sits down as she still tries to convince Mr . Park about letting us all go out . " Seriously Mr . Park , someone was playing a joke on us . "

He rolls his eyes as we all sit there in boredom . I sigh disapprovingly . " The phones that I took from the rest of you earlier are in my desk . You'll get them after detention . "

Hyunjae and Yunjin exchanged amused glances , probably because their real phones are safe in their bags .

Mr . Park arranges the phones into the drawer as he prepares to ignore us for the next hour . I pull out a pen and tap it against my intermediate pad , I really don't think I did anything wrong , I'm missing basketball practice for this and that wasn't my phone in the first place .

It's possible I'm overthinking this .

Jung Hyunjae
Monday , July 27th , 3:40 p.m.

My hand hurts within the first few minutes . It's pathetic . I can't believe I got sent for this fake phone prank placed in my bag . I didn't do anything wrong .

Sangmin reaches for his backpack and it looked like he was trying to find something . " Where the hell is my water bottle ? "

" No talking , Sangmin - ah . " Mr . Park says without looking up .

" I know , but — it's missing and I'm thirsty . " Mr.Park points to the back of the room with some cups above it . " Get yourself a drink , quietly . "

Sangmin gets a cup of water from the container . He heads back to his seat and puts the cup on his desk , he looks at Yongha and says " Dude , " he kicks the leg of Yongha's chair . " Did you seriously put those phones in our bags to mess with us ? "

I look at them both if they were seriously talking about this , it wasn't really the time to be annoying the heck out of each other .

Yongha leans back and crosses his arms , " Why would I do that ? " Sangmin shrugs " Aren't you some sort of prankster who makes fun of people ? "

" One more word out of any of you , you'll get a visit tomorrow . " Mr.Park says as he warns them .

Sangmin opens his mouth anyway , but before he can speak . The sound of tires were screeching then a crash was heard from 2 cars hitting each other . Yuki and Yunjin gasp in shock as I had my eyes widened . Jaehwa was the first one on his feet towards the window .

Minji follows him and I finally unfold myself from my seat . I took a minute to take in what just happened as everyone walked over to the window to see what happened .

It was two cars a blue one and a white one with some shades of black , are smashed to each other . We all stare at them silently until Mr.Park sighs " I should check on them , making sure no one was hurt . " he looks at all of us and locks eyes with Jihun which was the most responsible one out of all of us .

" Jihun-ah , keep the room quiet until I get back . "
