Monday , July 27th , 4:10 p.m.

All of them were talking to the teachers , but I can't . I pull my phone out of my bag to text the first person I see but I just can't ; my hands are shaking too bad . So I call instead .

" Yunjin ? " My brother but also Hyunjae's close friend , Seongmin picks up . We're not big callers , none of our friends are . " Seongmin ... " is all I can get out before I start tearing up again . Hyunjae and Haerin kept calming me down ; honestly I don't know what I'd do without them .

Hyunjae takes my phone and talks to Seongmin . " Hey , it's Hyunjae . Your sister's friend . Something bad happened at detention , Yunjin is really upset ... She fine but Yun Sangmin got hurt bad . The ambulance took him and stuff like that . " The call ended a few minutes after that .

Eunhye turns to the closest teacher , Ms . Song " Should we stay ? Do you need us ? "

Ms.Song looks at her nervously , " You told the paramedics everything ? Sangmin took a drink of water and collapsed ? " Eunhye and Jihun both nod . "It's not like he has an allergy , right ? You sure he didn't eat anything wrong ? " Hyunjae gives me my phone and runs a hand through his black hair . " I don't think so . He just drank a cup of water and fell over . "

" Maybe he had something for lunch that was bad . " Ms.Song replies . She looks around the room , her eyes settling at Sangmin's cup on the floor . She picks it up and says " Someone might want to take a look at it . "

" I just want to go ... " I burst out crying , wiping the tears on my cheeks . I can't stand being in this room for another second ...

" Should I come back ? " Hyunjae asks the teahcer as he patted my back slightly . " No , that's all right , go back and try to get some rest . Sangmin will be fine , I'm sure . " Ms.Song reassured us . Yukihara held my hand as we push past the metal doors outside the school building . I hug my brother and for a second everything just felt better .

Monday , July 27th , 4:15 p.m.

I've never felt so useless in my life .

I wish I did more than just call someone for help . Honestly , just by thinking about it . I might cry

" What . Just . Happened ? " I mutter against my breath . Minji overhears it and goes to me ; " I have no idea ... " . She sighs unwillingly . I look at her , frowning . " He looked as if he was going to die ...  " Minji bites her lip nervously as I gulped hard , wanting to forget everythng that just happened . " Don't you think ? " .

" Yeah . " She replies . I talk to her changing the subject . " The ambulance came fast today , hm ? " . Everything went past so smoothly . We remained silent .

I took one last look at everyone ; even the detention room with all the yellow lines covering it saying ' Police Line , Do Not Cross ! ' . I let out a deep breath as I looked at the clock in the room .

' 4:00 p.m. '

That seemed wrong , as I took out my phone . It was definitely ' 4:15 p.m ' . I ignored it , thinking maybe something was just wrong with the clock . I went out of the school building seeing Jaehwa on the way out with Yukihara . " Are you guys okay ? " Jaehwa sounded sincere , he's probably freaked out as I am but is just better at hiding it . Yukihara looked down , sighing . Minji walks out and joins us .

Seojun and Jihun pass by us making sure everyone was alright . I see Hyunjae and Yunjin talking beside their car . They looked really close like siblings . Eunhye and Yongha were the last ones to come out seeing all of us outside .

Suddenly all of us were gathered near the front entrance . We were all talking about what we did during the accident , though we didn't know the real reason behind it .

Eunhye suddenly jolted in surprise as her phone rang . She picked it up .

" Hello ? Yes , this is Park Eunhye , speaking . Did something— Oh my God , A-Are you sure ? " Her bag falls down to the ground . " Thank you for calling ... " She lowers down her phone and stares at everyone silently .

" Everyone , he's gone . " she says to us . " Sangmin's dead . "
