Bully

"What's wrong?" I ask the child.

"Just..." the child sighs, "just a bully. I wouldn't worry."

"A bully?" I ask, "who?"

"It's OK," the child smiles, "I can't do anything about it anyways."

"We're friends," I reassure him, curious and concerned now as he turns away, "you can tell me what's going on. What are they saying? Are they hurting you?"

"No," the child sighs, "they're just angry. Always angry, and it hurts. They say things that hurt."

"Who are these people?" I ask.

"I'm not allowed to say," the child sighs, "besides, I'm sure everyone goes through this... right?"

The child seems quite upset. He seems uneasy and in his eyes I see fear and sadness, but it's clear he won't say any more.

"Oh," he remembers, "you should probably head back now. Be seeing you."

I find myself back in Gen's castle, now a few floors lower.

"Vision?" Armored asks.

"Yeah," I reply.

"What was it?" Breaker inquires.

"Just some kid," I shrug.

"Alright," Breaker shrugs.

(Let's discuss this in fonts. A kid?)

Yeah. A kid.

(What did he look like?)

He's nine, a little on the short side, brown hair, wears an outfit with black and white stripes. Why? You know him?

(No, and that's the problem. A character like that does not exist.)

So, what, I'm just going crazy?

"No," the voice reassures me.

(Don't think so, but that kid must be important. Look, for now, let's just keep moving, OK?)

*I'm afraid I can't let you do that.

Edgar blocks the way to the next floor.

"You said we could avoid him," I glare at Gen.

"He must've expected that," Gen apologizes.

"Eh," I shrug, "it's OK. Accidents happen."

A battle starts...

"How we gonna do this?" Armored asks.

Choice: Let the others flee

Choice: Face Edgar together
