Raj's POV

Myra took my hand in hers and looked at Manik.

" Raj is right. I had conflicting feelings back then, and created a situation that complicated everything for everyone. But I had come to realize  that  actually, Raj was the one I truly loved, and I wanted to build a future with him." Myra said.

" I'm truly happy for you both. I've had time to reflect on my actions, and I know I messed up, I should have accepted my feelings for Roshni.  Losing you, Viren, and Sujal as friends hurt me deeply, but I could not marry the wrong person and spoil so many lives. If I knew you both loved each other, I would have canceled the wedding long ago and all this would not have happened. I regret not being there for you on your special day. And I really missed all of you at my wedding. "  Manik was looking down, guilt was evident in his voice.

" Manik, we've known each other for years. We've shared countless memories and supported each other through thick and thin. I don't want to throw all that away. I believe we can find a way to rebuild our friendship, but it will take time and effort from both of us." I said and Manik nodded.

"  We want to move forward, but we also need to address the awkwardness between us. We can't just ignore it and pretend it didn't happen. We must communicate openly and honestly to rebuild the trust." Myra said.

"  You're right. I don't want to lose you. I value our friendship too much and want to apologize once again and be there for you both moving forward. I'll do everything I can to make things right. I assure you, I am madly in love with Roshni and she is the only one for me. And there was practically nothing between Myra and me. She is Viren's sister and your wife for me. Please never misunderstand me or her. I love only my Roshni. "  Manik said and a small smile came on my face.

" Thank you, Manik. It means a lot to hear that. I also never told anyone about my feelings for Myra, if I had shared it with you, all this would not have happened. But I believe we can get through this. Our friendship has been through a lot, and I think it's worth fighting for." I said and he nodded and squeezed my hand.

" Manik, did you tell Roshni that I wanted to apologize to her??" Myra asked.

" Oh, yes, and she said that you don't need to apologize, in fact, she apologized as she knew that we... But still, she fell in love with me and persuaded me as well. " Manik said.

"  Let's leave all that, You both are here because you care about each other. Let's focus on rebuilding, forgiving, forgetting what happened, and creating new memories together. It won't be difficult as I believe in your friendship, I have seen how you all have been inseparable, please be like that or I might never live in peace as my foolishness spoilt everything. "  Myra said.

We all shared a moment of silent understanding, I literally felt a weight slowly lifting from my shoulders. We both were ready to embark on the journey of healing and friendship.

" I am so happy and relieved now. I missed you a lot and wanted to talk to you but could not dare to call you to talk as we used to. " Manik said.

" I missed you too, but now we will forget everything and you can call me anytime you want. " I said.

" No, way!!  I will not call you at night and disturb you. I don't want to be a... Er... Whatever. Ron beware me about it. I don't want Myra shouting at me, she is a dangerous brother. I will call you during day time. But you can call me whenever you want. "  Manik said. We both laughed at that and Myra hid her face in my chest.

" I will kill this Ron... " Myra said.

" Yeah, he is going to get many punches very soon, by the speed he is going. "

" No, please don't kill him. He supported me and Roshni a lot. He is a bit notorious but a good friend and brother. "

" Oh, you seem to be impressed with him. Well, Ron is smart.  " Myra said mischievously, I smiled.

"  Yes, we have become closer over the period. "

"   He is getting very serious about work. My parents are thinking that he must get married now, Do you think, he is an eligible bachelor? " I asked.

" No doubt, he is a fabulous person. Anyone would be happy to give his daughter to him provided he mends his ways. We both know how he is... But otherwise, he is fabulous. "  He replied.

" Thanks for the vote of confidence. "

" A hypothetical question, if he mends his ways, and falls in love with a girl, do you think, the girl's family would accept him as son-in-law, knowing how he was?? " Myra asked.

Shit!!!

" He is in love?? "  Manik asked.

" No, just thinking. Told you a hypothetical question. " Myra flashed her smile.

" Oh, well, I can't imagine him falling in love. She would be a very special girl if she could manage to make him change his way and be committed to just her. I would like to meet her. "

You know her since the day she was born.

" You didn't answer my question. " Myra asked again.

Oh, God! Let it be sweetheart, we just started talking.

" Depends upon who she falls for. How well they know him and how is the relationship between them."

" But would you have approved if you were her family member?? "

Shit! RIP Ron!

She will get him punched today itself.

" As of now, I can't answer that question. He is a wonderful person, but hypothetically, I would have thought many times before getting him married to my sister, if it was my sister he falls for. " He said.

The food was served and we all ate a lot of food. I was feeling very good from within.

" I must leave now, I have to reach Surat today. Bye. All the best.  " Manik said smiling at Myra as well. She nodded.

I got up and embraced him for a good minute or two and then Manik went away.

" Are you feeling relaxed now? " Myra asked.

" Absolutely!! It acted as the best spa treatment. I am rejuvenated. Thank you, my love. Now, I must leave as well, but you be ready on time to go for our date. I will inform you at home. You just relax and be ready to pay for your naughty trick in the morning. "  I said and kissed her cheek and neck.

" I will be ready and waiting for you. "  She said in a husky voice.

Oh, shit!!! I didn't even want to go to the office.

It was evening and I called up Viren to ask about his grandma. I didn't want to take Myra away if Nani ji was not well. It felt very insensitive to do such a thing.  Viren said that she was feeling good.

Their grandma was fine now and Myra has been very stressed so I was excited to take her for a date to change her mood and start our married life.

I came out of the office and went to pick her up from her spa. I wanted to take her to her favorite restaurant.

As I was driving to the spa, I felt nervous and excited. I had something planned, something special. I was asked to wait for her in the cabin, she was getting ready.  When Myra walked in, she looked breathtaking and I could not take my eyes off her.

Myra looked stunning in a flowing white dress, very elegant pearl, and diamond jewelry and her long curly hair cascading down her back.

I was so mesmerized looking at her that I am sure I would have forgotten to even breathe, thank god breathing is an involuntary process of our body. Or I would have died.

" Will you say something?? "

" This is not fair... God must have used all the beauty he had in his closet in making you. "  I said and she blushed.

" Awww... How do you say such things, always wins my heart all over again. " She said.

I went near her and placed a kiss on the cheek. She looked at me and returned the favor immediately.

" I suggest we better get going before I get carried away and we get late for our dinner. "  I said and she nodded.

I drove her to her favorite restaurant out of the city, where we had gone for the first time. She smiled at me as soon as she realized that we were going there.
