Myra's POV

We reached my spa and salon, and my staff greeted us and were surprised to see Raj with me. They all got very excited and tried to make him feel welcome. Raj kept smiling at their sweet gestures.

I told my assistant to order breakfast for us. She nodded and asked about preference. I asked her to get grilled sandwiches, muffins, croissants, and coffee.

" Well, I have come here for the first time. It is better than my imagination. We have a spa here, so shall we use it some day. "

" Of course, you can do it whenever you want. "

" Soon, I want us to have a joint session. "  He said and I nodded with a smile.

" As you wish, sir, your satisfaction is our reward. We will provide you best services since you are Mrs. Sahni's son-in-law. Will provide you with the best masseur we have. " I said professionally.

" No, I will give you a massage and you can return the favor by giving massage to me. "  He said with a naughty smile.

" You are getting naughty, Mr. Kapoor. "  I smiled.

" Actually, Mrs Kapoor, I mean,  my wife is very naughty, so have to keep up the pace. I need to learn new ways to surprise her. You know she shocked me today with her dominant personality and then vanished into thin air. I had to take a long, long, long cold shower. She has to pay for it. "  He said with a promise in his eyes.

" All the best. I hope you can shock her but as much as I know her, tough luck, baby. "  I winked at him.

" We'll see. " He said and pulled me on his lap.

" Raj, this is my workplace. "

" Ok, fine.  Myra, please call your mom and ask her how is Nani ji. " He said and I did. Mom said that she was much better now. Raj looked happy.

" Myra, since your grandma is fine, will you come with me for a date?? " He asked.

" But... "

" Please, Myra, I am dying to spend some time with you, as it is, our room is being renovated, so we must go for an overnight date. "

Overnight date?? OMG!!

" On one condition!! "  I said.

" I agree to it. "

" You will do as I say right now or I am not going. "

" Tell me what you want me to do... Give a massage to you?? "

" No massage for me, thanks, I want you to call someone here and meet him. "

" Whom?? "

" Manik! "

" Myra, please don't spoil my mood. "

" Raj, please meet him for my sake, for us, for the sake of your friendship. I don't want any more awkward moments in our lives like last night. It is high time we finish this topic right here, right now so that we can start a new life with love and absolute trust, with no place for any misunderstanding between us. " I said and my eyes got moist.  He pulled me in his arms and kissed my forehead.

" Ok, love, you are right. I will call him. Let me inform at the office that I will be late.  " He said and informed his office and called Manik as well.

Raj's POV

I called on Manik's number, he picked up the phone almost immediately.

" Hello, Raj!! How are you? "

" Hi!! Manik, where are you? "

" At home, was about to leave for Surat in a few hours. "

" Can you take out some time for me, Myra and I want to meet you. "

" Sure!! Come over!"

" Actually we are at Myra's spa, Aunty, I mean Maya mom is not here so she can't leave from here, can you please come here instead? "

" I will if you stop being so formal. C'mon Raj, say that with authority, You have been my best friend. You don't have to say please to me. "  He said.

" Ok, come here fast. "  I said.

" Coming!!" He said and I was smiling.

" He is coming?"

" Hmmm. You were right, I need to talk to him. "

" Shall I order more food?? "

" Yes, lots and lots of food. I am feeling more hungry all of a sudden. "  I  said. She gave me a lovely smile and ordered some Indian food as well as both of us are foodies.

" Ok, now that you fulfilled the condition, tell me where are we going?" She asked. I grinned.

" That is a surprise. But it will be a long drive. " I  replied.

" I am looking forward to it. "  She said.

" Not more than me. Will you inform Mom that we are going out on a date?? " I replied. She blushed.

" No, I am feeling shy. " She said.

" You shy?? Do you even know such a thing exists?? "  I chuckled.

" Don't be mean. I am shy at times. "

" When present in front of my family, otherwise you are bold and blunt. Tell me who you are: the bold and beautiful Myra who can be straightforward and blunt who doesn't get shy at all before speaking or doing anything that is in her mind or the shy and blushing bride in my home, who blushes at every teasing. "

" I am both. Actually, my dad is shy and my mom is... Well, it runs in the blood. So I am a combination of both. Sometimes I am too bold and at other times I am too shy. Which side of mine do you like more? "  She told me.

" I love every side of yours. You are a perfect combination of shy and bold. I was shocked yesterday but you shocked everyone else too. They can't mess with you. I loved it. "  I said smiling.

" I am glad you are so open-minded and didn't mind me saying what I wanted to like those MCPs who dictate that women should behave in a  particular way. "  She said.

" Hey, love birds, can I come in?" Manik said knocking on the door.

" Yes, of course!! Who is being formal now? "  I replied and got up and hugged him lightly.

" You both just got married and Ron also warned me last night, so I thought it was better to ask first. " He said with a smile and walked up to the table, taking a deep breath.

" Come sit!! " Myra said.

" Wow!! Romantic settings. A cozy room with soft lighting and comfortable seating. "  Manik exclaimed.

" I like to work in comfort and style. " Myra said and he nodded.

He was here but I didn't know how to start the conversation. The atmosphere was getting tense, but there is a sense of determination in Myra's eyes.

" Hey, guys. Thanks for inviting me. I know this isn't easy for any of us." Manik said. He said to break the awkwardness.

" Manik, we really appreciate you coming. We've been friends for so long, and I believe it's time we address everything openly and honestly." I said trying to stay composed.

" I agree. "

" Yes, I want to move past the awkwardness and start afresh. I value our friendship with you and don't want it to be strained anymore." I said.

" I want both of you to know that I'm genuinely sorry for the way things turned out. I never intended to hurt any of you, but I made my choice which caused a lot of pain. I tried my level best not to fall for Roshni but could not help it. I knew there would be a lot of complications." Manik said.

" Please don't say that you chose your love, I understand, that love is unpredictable, and sometimes things don't work out the way we expect them to. I was hurt initially, feeling like a second choice, but I've realized that Myra's love for me is genuine." I said.

Myra took my hand in hers and looked at Manik.
