Raj's POV

What was going on in her mind?

Well, at least, She didn't look upset.

Everyone greeted each other. Though my dad originally had a group of five friends, Dad was closest to Mehul uncle.

Ron touched their feet and greeted Mahi with a smile but Mahi ignored him and smiled at me and the others. It was a bit weird.

Roohi and Ruhan went to meet Mihir and Mahi.

I saw Mihir and Ron glaring at each other. Ron thinks that Mihir and Roohi share something more than friendship. So he is always very alert around him. Though Manik assured me that they were just friends, very good friends. Ron and Mihir have always had this explosive relationship between them.

Well, I went to Uncle and Aunty and touched their feet as they had come specially to meet me and my wife. Mom signaled Myra to come too. She also came and touched their feet.

Aunty looked a bit embarrassed but she hugged Myra. 

Then Mehul uncle said, " I am sorry for whatever happened, but I hope, whatever has been done will not spoil our relationship. "

" What are you saying, Mehul, do you want me to punch you in front of our kids?? You are my best friend. And I guess it was meant to be like this as they both loved each other. "  Dad said and embrace him.

" Myra beta, I apologize on behalf of my entire family, but I am happy for you as Raj is a wonderful person. " He said to Myra.

Myra shook her head and folded her hands with a polite smile.

" Pease don't apologize, uncle. It's not your fault. I am happy that they got married as they were in love, whatever happened, happened for the best. Raj is indeed a wonderful person. I feel absolutely at home here. So please, don't feel bad.  " She said and looked at me.

Like really?? She is happy to get married to me?? She looked calm and normal while saying that. 

All of them and especially Mom smiled and appreciated what she said.

"  Raj and Myra, please come and sit here. " Megha Aunty said and we did that. She gave a jewelry box and a few more gifts to Myra but she looked confused.

" Aunty, all this is too much, I can't take all this. " She said.

" Beta, since we could not attend your wedding and Raj is just like our son, I am giving you this as a wedding gift and this is for your moonh dikhayi ceremony. Please accept it.  " Aunty said.

Myra looked at me but I didn't know what to say so she looked at Mom and Mom nodded.

Myra accepted it with a smile and touched her feet.

"  God bless both of you. May god shower all his blessings on you. Be happy. " She said with a smile. Myra smiled and blushed.

" So has Mudit bhai and bhabhi gone back?? " Mom asked Aunty.

" Yes, they went back and took Roshni with them as well. " Megha Aunty said.

What does that mean??

" What?? They took Roshni with them?? Only Roshni?" Mom asked.

" Yes!! She will live in the USA with them for at least 2 years as she is too young to get married and they are not allowed to meet till she completes her studies and is old enough to get married. " Aunty replied.

Oh!! Poor them. I felt bad for them. They are in love and just after getting married, they are supposed to live separately.

" Don't you think, that is a bit too harsh? For god's sake, they were married only a few days back. " Mom said.

" Yes, but Mudit bhai was adamant and he was very angry with Manik for putting everyone through such embarrassment, especially the Sahni family, so it is also a kind of punishment for him. " Megha Aunty said.

" Poor Manik and Roshni... They should not get punished for what they did."  Mom said.

" I am sorry to say this, But this is not right. They loved each other and wanted to be together. That engagement and marriage were fixed in a haste. I am really sorry again, but no one asked him before fixing anything. So why should he be punished for this? And I feel for Roshni as well. I consider her my sister. It was not fair to her as well. "  Ron said and I saw Mahi looking at him for the first time with a weird expression.

" For a change, I agree with him. Bhai was not at fault. Both of them are being punished for what?? Being in love?? I didn't expect this from all of you. He is too sweet that he is taking this punishment, I would have revolted. " Mihir said.

"  Same here. " Ron said.

Finally, at least, they agreed on something.

" Anyway, leave that, Mudit bhai is his dad and has been very sweet and understanding. If he has done it there must be some reason for it. And as it is she is too young to get married, and needs to complete her education first. Megha, tell me what else is going on. I was planning to call you as I want to get the interior changed for all the children's rooms. " Mom said.

" Yes, I remember that you asked me to do it for their rooms and Raj's room on priority as you were planning to get him married. And I told you that  Mahi and I will do it after Manik's wedding. " Megha Aunty said.

" See Raj's room is just like a bachelor's room. Now that it is Myra's room as well, the interior should be according to both of their requirements. More storage space so that Myra has enough space to keep her stuff comfortably. " Mom said

" Hmmm, actually I am still stuck up with a big hotel project but Mahi has already thought of
a few themes,  please see them and select the ones they all like," Aunty said.

"Mahi will do all that?? Wow! When did she grow up?? " Dad said with a big surprised smile.

" Oh, c'mon Rahul, she is as old as  Ruhan. " Mom said.

" Yes, Rahul Bhai, She has completed her post-graduation in interiors with a distinction, in fact, topped the university. She is very good at it. And I can always guide her. She also joined my business yesterday and will take care of my showroom. "  Aunty said with a proud smile.

" Great!!! You remember, Megha, your first project was given by me, now I want our Mahi to do the interiors of all the children and my office and showroom for her first project. " Mom said Mahi nodded with a smile.

" Ron, since she is coming to her showroom every day now, show her our showroom and tell her our requirements so that she knows them while she plans for the interiors and makes her suggestions. "  Mom said to Ron.

I looked at Mahi and saw that she looked a bit uncomfortable all of a sudden.

But why??

" Sure Mom, I will. I am always there to help her, since we both will work in the same mall now. "  Ron said.

Just then I happened to saw Ron. His eyes were sparkling with something...

Was it what I think it was?

He was smiling looking at her. Then why was he ready to get married to Myra?

They all got busy in their own conversation.

Roohi and Mihir were also busy in some kind of very serious discussion. I really wanted to know what was going on in Ron's mind and what was going on between Roohi and Mihir. They were very close. But Roohi would get very annoyed if we ask her anything.

I went to Roohi and she looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I knew she didn't want me or Ron to scold her friends, Mihir and Vihan but I was her elder brother. What ever they were discussing looked serious.

" So?? What up, Mihir?? Anything serious? " I asked.

" Nothing, we were talking about our colleagues. "  He just shrugged.

" Come have some snack with us." I said and went to Ron and he was talking to Mahi but she looked annoyed.

What was going on?
