Raj's POV

The whole day these thoughts kept tormenting me. My family kept calling me on my phone but I put it on silent. As it is I was too far off from my place, I was not even sure if my phone was reachable or not.

I knew that, I was supposed to go to her parents' house for dinner as per the ritual, but I didn't feel like going. Everyone would start teasing us there as well.

Teasing gives pleasure when someone is happy but hurts like hell if they are pretending that everything is absolutely perfect between them.

My phone rang again it was Viren this time, he must be expecting me there but I was in no mood to go there.

Ron was calling me as well, but I ignored his call as well.

Even after evaluating my feelings for her for about two hours, I was not very sure exactly what I felt for her.

Of course, I was still very much attracted to her but I was upset with her for playing with my emotions.

But she was my wife now.

Wife... My wife.

She was my life partner. Mine!!! Whether I liked it or not she was my responsibility, not Ron's.

Though I was still confused, I decided to go back as both families expected me to be with Myra at the moment.

So I reached there and rang the doorbell. Someone opened the door and I walked in and felt the excitement and celebration in the environment as everyone was enjoying having snacks and teasing each other.

" Hey, Ron!! Finally, you have arrived.  What took you so long? We all were missing you. " Viren said coming towards me.

Ron?? Why is he calling me Ron?? Is Ron already here as Raj??

" I.I was stuck somewhere.  R.Raj has arrived?? " I asked hesitantly and he says that he came about an hour ago.

" Oh, ok!! " I said and walked in.   greeted everyone.

Ron was sitting there in the center beside Myra. What is he up to now?? Why did he act like me?

" Hey, Raj. I am surprised that you have already reached here. I mean... Your meeting was going on and on. "  I said to Ron.

" Yeah, but as soon as I could, I came here, everyone was waiting for so long. I saw that my phone had 20+ missed calls. " He said.

"I need to talk to you, Raj. " I said to Ron in a very serious tone as I wanted to confront it.

But Myra's dad told me to wait till we go home as everyone wanted to spend some time with Raj, I nodded but was getting very upset.

The snacks were served to me, though I had not eaten anything since breakfast, I didn't feel like eating, so I said that I was not hungry as I have been distributing gifts and sweets to family and friends so was quite full. 

I wanted to swap places with him again as it was not fair. He could not fool everyone like this. The dinner was being served and they asked Ron and Myra to come to the dining table.

Myra looked at him with a smile and he also gave a faint smile. And took the chair next to her.

What the hell!!

I need to talk to him.

" Raj, I need to talk to you. " I said again.

" Yes..."  He said. But sujal made him sit again saying that he was the guest of honor for the day and that he must enjoy the food as all his favorite dishes were served.

  Ron tried talking to me as I am sure he would have understood what I wanted to say. But sujal threatened Ron about following the OPH tradition of punching the BIL. So he had to sit down again.

But that was not fair. He was not supposed to sit there beside her as her husband.

Viren realized that I was not my normal self. But I said that I was tired.

The food was served and everyone started teasing Myra about her culinary skills.

Ron was enjoying it a lot while  I was getting annoyed. I had to say something. Viren kept teasing Myra, I needed to take her side.

" That's ok, so what if she doesn't know cooking? You can't make fun of her like this. "  I said.

" Awww... Thanks, Ron. I love you for saying that. "She smiled at me but I was shocked to hear her say that. 

She could easily say that to him. I knew she said that in a friendly manner but It made me somewhat uncomfortable.

Ron also said something in her favor but that idiot Viren kept teasing him thinking that he was Raj. It was all getting on my nerves.

Mercifully Maya aunty scolded Viren telling him to stop that nonsense or I swear I would have punched him.

But that feeling of relief did not stay for long as aunty asked   Myra to serve more food on his plate. When he refused, Mohit's uncle suggested Myra make him eat with her hand and Sujoy's uncle asked Ron to feed Myra in return.

Please, stop it!!!

Ron looked at me, I raised an eyebrow and he shook his head and said, "No, I am full. "

" No, way... you can't deny if my sister is feeding you with her hand.  C'mon Myra, make him eat every single dish again. " That stupid Viren said.

Myra picked up a spoonful of food and was about to bring it in front of his mouth.

Stop it, Myra!! He is Ron!

Ron, don't you dare open your mouth.

I literally choked on my food and started coughing. Sujoy uncle rushed to me to help but I  kept coughing. I got up and rushed to the washroom as I could not see all that.

Ron came after me and I closed the door.

" What the hell are you doing by acting like me??"  I asked him in an angry tone.

" When I reached here they all were waiting for you to come and were tensed. They thought that I was Raj and looked relaxed so I didn't correct them. I could not disappoint so many people. " He replied.

" Fine, let's swap back now. " I said. And we changed our clothes as fast as we could and went back. 

Sujoy uncle asked Ron and he said he was fine.

I took the chair next to her, was feeling much better now.

We fed each other as requested by everyone, they hooted and I saw that Myra's face was blushing.

Ruhan teased her about the delicate color on her face I was enjoying it too till that idiot asked me about my backache.

Shit!!!

I am not going to hear the end of it now.

"Backache?? You had a backache?? Why?  how?? You were fine yesterday. " Sujal asked.

Another idiot!! Why did he have to say that? My god, so much difference between the father and the son.

" You will get to know, when you will get married, Sujal. " Sujoy uncle said. Mohit uncle and Sujal burst out laughing.

" Uncle, please... It's... " I started saying but Mohit uncle stopped me.

" Please, do not explain, to make it awkward. "

They all kept saying things to us that made even me blush.

Shit!!

That idiot Ruhan added some more spice to the teasing and I had to scold him as I could not control myself but everyone burst out laughing.

Another round of teasing started. Mohit uncle even suggested I have more food as I would need calories.

Oh, God!! How did my father and chachu manage to survive with Mohit uncle and Sujoy uncle??

Finally, my mother-in-law came to our rescue and scolded all of them.

I thought it to be the perfect time to leave but they asked me about our honeymoon plan

Why can't all of them leave me alone??

Ron replied that we would be going after a week.

Finally, we said good night to all of them and we all came back home.

Mom and chachi were waiting for us to come back.

" Myra, you are looking very beautiful in this saree. Isn't it, Raj?? "  Chachi asked.

"  Yes!! " I said and the color in her cheeks became a shade darker, making her look even more beautiful and somehow I liked it.

Ron said good night and was going to his room when I stopped him.

" Ron!! Wait. "

" What?? "

" We need to talk. "
