"Meera wake up Dhruv's here" Alesha said shaking the elder slightly. "Dh-" Meera tried to say but, was cut off by Alesha's palm that sealed her up. "Don't wake Dodh Amma" the younger whispered fiercely as Meera nodded and the two of them slipped away.

"I'm nervous." Meera said stopping Alesha who was dragging her out in the hallways. "Just tell him the truth. It's for the best. I know it isn't easy but, what other option do we have?" Alesha said with a heavy heart." Do you want me to go in stead ?"Alesha suggested. "No. You go.I'll do this" Meera said biting her lip. biting " I'll be in the kitchen"  Alesha said giving Meera's hand a tight squeeze

"I can do this" Meera said to herself as she made her way up the staircase towards the terrace. "Do what?"Dhruv asked as he helped her on her way up." I'm really sorry for... " Dhruv tried to say but was Shush-ed by Meera's index finger. 

"You don't have to be Sorry. This time, it's my  fault" she said as tears welled up in her eyes. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" he said cupping her face gently.

"I broke the fast" she confessed. " It's good that you did. I was worried that you would be hungry" he comforted fondly" by somebody else's hand. Taehyung" she added.

"Do you like him?" he asked calmly." I do" Meera answered biting her lip." Does he ?" Dhruv asked again.

"I don't know he keeps giving mixed signals " she answered with a sigh. "If he isn't your perfect man or if he doesn't return your feelings, would you be willing to give me a chance?" Dhruv asked in a tone that could be deciphered as laced with hope.

"That's not.... "she tried to say. "I don't care if it is fair or not. Just answer me in yes or no? " Dhruv asked looking her in the eye.

"I wouldn't because I would feel guilty" she admitted. "Without caring  about what I feel." he interrupted. "I can't be that ruthless. I can't........ ignore your feelings "she refuted. "I'll wait" Dhruv defied.

" I can't let you do that ! I can't ......hurt you "she admitted against his chest which he had pulled her into, to muffle her cries "Can I kiss you?" he asked out of nowhere "No! Absolutely not" she said stumbling away.

"If you feel something. I'll wait. If you don't, we'll go back to how we were before " he elaborated. "Are you taking an inspiration from To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You ?"she questioned suspiciously.

"Maybe. Would you let me?" he asked. "No. Dhruv, I'm sure of  it. I won't make you wait. No matter what" "she said putting some distance between them. "Still as adorable as ever" he chuckled as Meera made a confused expression." I was messing with you stupid. I won't take  your first kiss" Dhruv said lightly flicking her forehead.

" He took my first kiss" she mumbled in a low tone.  "He did that and didn't ask you out yet" Dhruv asked angrily grabbing her by the shoulders. " Well I sort of pushed him off and ran away saying that the kiss never happened" she answered flashing him guilty expression.
